For over 60 years Coastwide Laboratories has manufactured high-performance cleaning products for companies
and cleaning professionals. Our modern quality-assurance process guarantees that products meet the highest

standard in our Sustainable Earth cleaning products.
We believe that cleaning products can be manufactured, transported, stored, used and disposed of in ways that
will protect our environment without sacrificing performance. In August 2002, Coastwide Laboratories introduced
its first Sustainable Earth products.
Sustainable Earth brings to sanitary maintenance products new, “greener” chemistry, employing bio-based
ingredients that are safer for humans and the environment.
The objective of Coastwide’s sustainability approach is to encourage raw material and ingredient manufacturers
to design and redesign products with fewer toxins, and to make them more durable, reusable and recyclable,
and with recycled materials.

to comply with the strictest environmental standards.

Verifiable Product Attributes
Sustainable Earth Certified Products meet 23 verifiable product attributes:
• Contain no known or suspected carcinogens
or reproductive toxins
• Contain no known neurotoxins or
central nervous system depressants
• Contain no known endocrine disruptors
• Contain no known ozone-depleting compounds
• Complies with CARB (California Air Resources Board)
VOC requirements
• Are not designated as a hazardous waste by
the states of Oregon or Washington
• Contain no persistent, bioaccumulative
and toxic chemicals
• Contain no alkyl phenol ethoxylates (APEs)
• Surfactants meet OECD definition of
