THE EVENT
Snow Polo Davos is proud to announce that the inaugural tournament
will take place from 25-28 February 2016, hosted by InterContinental
Davos and Destination Davos Klosters.
Four International Teams will compete, representing global financial
centres, such as London, Davos, New York or Zurich.
Two games of polo will take place in the centre of Davos every afternoon.
VIP hospitality will take place from Friday 26th onwards.
If you haven’t seen snow polo before, we are very confident that you will
enjoy our unique format of fast and furious polo. We have tweaked the
rules of polo to make the game even faster and to bring spectators closer
to the action. Guests can watch the action from the VIP grandstand,
where there will be delicious hot snacks and plenty to drink.
In addition to the polo, the extraordinary InterContinental Davos hotel
will act as our headquarters for the duration of the event, from where we
will offer unrivalled hospitality, parties and fun events.

THE VENUE
The Snow Polo Davos tournament will take place in the centre of town on the ice rink
owned by Destination Davos Klosters, and guests will enjoy impressive surrounding views
of the mountains.
Hospitality guests may be hosted by the InterContinental Davos Hotel, which is set in the
outstanding beautiful Grisons Alps, 1,600 metres above sea level. This five-star hotel is the
most spectacular hotel to be recently built in any ski resort across Europe.

This sensational event offers you a totally original solution to entertaining clients and guests.
The InterContinental Davos will offer you the very best in hospitality each day, in an array
of dining rooms and restaurants. Once lunch is finished, we will take you from the hotel to
the Snow Polo Arena by VIP shuttle (journey time approximately 5 minutes), where you will
be escorted to the VIP grandstand and snow polo deck.
VIP Grandstand: The grandstand is fully covered and heated and gives guests a view from
a first floor level. All VIP guests will be offered seating and rugs for extra warmth in the
grandstand as well as access to bars and waitress service.
Snow Polo Deck: This is situated on the ground floor overlooking one end of the polo
arena. The idea is to allow VIP guests to socialise with each other in a more relaxed setting
that is still covered and heated.
