THE VESTAL DS-9 GRILLE AND DUCT SYSTEM will save time and money when the
mason is installing one of Vestal's circulating fireplaces. It increases heating efficiency by
providing smooth unobstructed air flow passages and eliminates loss of heated air due to
loose fitting joints. We recommend the use of the Vestal F-9 Fan Kit for greater efficiency
with the DS-9 Grille and Duct System.

"OA" VESTAL OUTSIDE AIR KIT
FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION – MASONRY FIREPLACES
THE VESTAL OUTSIDE AIR KIT is designed to provide outside air for fireplace
combustion. It may also be used as a conventional ash dump when a Vestal cleanout
door is installed during construction. The unit is furnished with a Vestal cast iron ash
dump, outside air grille with screen and adjustable outside air damper. The telescoping
6" air supply adjusts from 21" minimum to 38" maximum. Additional tube may be added
if desired.

Thermo-vents, constructed of high density thermoplastic, automatically open and close. Stamped aluminum vents are
available in 12 gauge or 18 gauge. Aluminum brick vents with fixed louvers replace one or two brick. Block vents are 3hinged louvered and adjustable.

frame are cast iron. The three position adjustable fire grates use either charcoal or wood.
Cast iron grated cook top and four position adjustable chrome plated steak grille are
included. The unit is shipped completely assembled and will stack several units in height.
Size 181/2" high by 17" wide by 24" deep. Masonry opening required 183/4" high by 171/4" wide
by 241/4" deep. Full 396 square inches of cooking surface.

TERMS AND GENERAL INFORMATION
TERMS:
Terms will be specified on each individual invoice. A service charge of 1 1/2% per month (18%
ANNUAL RATE) will be assessed for all past due accounts. Where applicable, the service charge
will be adjusted to meet state legal requirements.
PALLETIZING MATERIAL:
Certain Vestal products must be palletized for shipping at a net charge per pallet. There is also a net
charge for heavy wooden shipping boxes. The boxes and pallets are not returnable.
DAMAGES, SHORTAGES OR LOSS IN TRANSIT:
Merchandise is inspected and counted before loading. Please inspect carefully on receipt of
merchandise, noting any discrepancy or damage on the carrierʼs freight bill AT TIME OF DELIVERY.
Discrepancies or damage which obviously occurred in transit are the carrierʼs responsibility, and
related claims should be made promptly, direct to the carrier. DEDUCTIONS FROM INVOICES FOR
SHORTAGES OR DAMAGE CLAIMS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.
Our responsibility as shipper ceases when goods are delivered in good order to the transportation
company. We assume no liability for merchandise in transit. We will, however, render all possible
assistance in recovering lost goods or in filing claims by consignee.
PRICES:
Subject to change without notice. All merchandise will be invoiced at prices in effect at time of
shipment.
HANDLING CHARGE:
UPS shipments are assessed a $4.00 charge per shipment. Quantities will be rounded up to the next
even bundle unless specifically requested, then special charge will apply. A special $3.00 handling
charge will also be assessed on any product when quantity ordered is less than standard package.
RETURN GOODS:
Return goods will not be accepted without written authority from Vestal Manufacturing. A minimum
charge of 20% will be made for handling, inspecting and repackaging items returned for credit. All
returned goods must be shipped transportation charges prepaid. DEDUCTIONS FROM INVOICES
FOR DAMAGES, DEFECTIVE, AND SHORTAGE CLAIMS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.
TAXES:
Prices do not include sales, excise, transportation and other similar taxes present or future.
DELIVERY:
Shipments and deliveries are, at all times, subject to approval of our Credit Department. Delivery is
contingent on floods, strikes, acts of God, or any other causes beyond our control.
PART CODE:
When placing orders, please give part code first, then model number.
PLANT CLOSINGS:
Vestal Manufacturing always closes the weeks of July 4th and December 25th.
No shipping or receiving will occur during these times.
