Formerly called The Yellowbird Gallery now known as CSArch Architecture
Located on the beautiful waterfront at 19 Front Street, Newburgh, NY
Open to the public 9-5pm daily Monday - Friday
Open on weekends when the Downing Film Center is open
Juried by Esteemed Artist – Timothy John Luke Smith
ELIGIBILITY
Open to all current OCAF Member Groups in *good standing (* Annual dues paid for 2011 -still only
$55. per group) Check with your president’s / treasurer’s please.
Eligibility for artists in the following groups if all dues are currently paid up for 2011,
may include; The Artists Alternative, The Fine Art Studio, Goshen Art League, Hearts & Hands Art
Center, Hudson Highlands Photo Workshop, Hudson Valley Artists, Middletown Art Group, Northeast
Watercolor Society, Port Jervis Council for The Arts, River Valley Artists Guild, The Warwick Atelier,
The Warwick Art League and The Washingtonville Art Society, Wallkill River Art School
Any artists from new groups that may have formed within this past year may also apply upon dues
payment for that group collectively for 2011.
Individual memberships to the OCAF are also available at this time if you are not currently affiliated
with any of the art goups listed above.
Individual / family memberships are only $25 / $35 respectively. MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL AND
APPLICATION IS ON PAGE 5 OF THIS PROSPECTUS
STIPULATIONS AND PROCEDURE
Artists may enter up to (3) three works. Categories : Oils, Acrylics, Watercolors, Pastels, Printmaking
Techniques (aside from giclee’s), Graphics, Mixed Media, Photography, Sculpture. No giclee’s please.
$25. for one, $35. for 2 works, $40. for 3 to help cover costs for publicity, reception, awards, etc.
All artwork must be presented in a professional manner. No alligator hooks . Eyehooks and wire must
be provided on all works for hanging. Sculptures that require pedestals will need to be provided by the
artists. We will have lots of room for sculpture this year.
Works must be original and not shown in any prior OCAF show.
All work must be for sale. No P.O.R. listings. Sales will be handled by the OCAF , call Sarah McHugh

All work must remain on display for the duration of the show, with the exception of works sold. Artists
may have the option to replace sold pieces.
The OCAF reserves the right to reject any work not adhering to stated specifications.

* Due to a film presentation at the Downing Center all work has to be hung earlyplease make arrangements to get your work to us as early as possible. Thank you
RECEIVING
Hand deliver work to The Yellowbird Gallery, located in the firm of CSArch Architecture,
19 Front Street, Newburgh, Thursday, September 1, 10:30am – 1pm.* ( Anyone who can stay to assist
with the hanging will be greatly appreciated. OCAF will provide lunch)
On the day of receiving all artists will be asked to sign up to bring a food or beverage contribution for the
Opening Reception/ Award ceremony on September 10. 6-9pm
REMOVAL
All work must be removed on Monday, October 17th 11-2pm. If you are unable to make it to
pick up your work, please arrange to have someone do it for you. You can always call me if you have any
questions or concerns : 845-987-8748.
Gallery Hours : 9am – 5pm Monday- Friday and on weekends when the Downing is showing a film

Liability :

EXHIBITOR’S AGREEMENT
This is an exhibitor’s agreement to display works of art with the Orange County Art
Federation at the The Yellowbird Gallery, aka. CSArch Architecture at 19 Front Street in
Newburgh
Every reasonable care will be taken with submitted works. However, neither the
Yellowbird Gallery, CS Arch Architecture or The Orange County Art Federation, its
officers or volunteers will be responsible for theft, loss, or damage to works however
incurred. Your entry into this exhibit constitutes agreement with the terms.
By signing this agreement, the artist waives any rights to a law action suit against the any
of the above named.
