Conclusions
» Fruit preference: •  Bugs prefer green fruit over red fruit
» Life stages:
•  Adults & all nymph stages feed on fruit •  Older nymphs and new adults feed more
than younger nymphs and older adults
» Tarnished plant bug rarely feeds on
tomato fruit even if starved
