1. INTRODUCTION
Truth is the pillar of civilization. The word 'truth' occurs 224 times in the King James Version of the Holy
Bible; witnesses testifying in American courts and before the United States Congress must swear to tell
the truth; and, laws and civil codes require truth in advertising and in business practices, to list just a few
examples.
The purpose of science is to discover the true nature of Earth and Universe and to convey that knowledge
truthfully to people everywhere. Science gives birth to technology that makes our lives easier and better.
Science improves our health and enables us to see our world in ways never before envisioned. It uplifts
spirits and engenders optimism. And, science provides a truth-standard, securely anchored in the
properties of matter, a means to expose and debunk the charlatans and science-barbarians who would lie,
cheat, steal, and tyrannize under the guise of science.
Prior to World War II there was little government financial support for science. Nevertheless, the 20th
century opened and seemed to offer the promise of an unparalleled age of enlightenment and reason.
While supporting himself as a Swiss patent clerk, Albert Einstein explained Brownian motion, the photoelectric effect, and special relativity. Niels Bohr, supported by grants from the Carlsberg Brewery, made
fundamental discoveries about atomic structure and served as a focal point and driving force for the
collaborative effort that yielded quantum mechanics, the field of science underpinning the solid-state
electronics technology that makes possible modern communications and computers. For a time, the
meanings of new observations were actively debated. Fertile imaginations put forth ideas that challenged
prevailing views. New ideas and new understandings began to emerge, sometimes precise, sometimes
flawed, but tending toward truth and inspiring more new ideas and inspiring yet further debate. Individual
imagination and creativity, driven by the quest for a true understanding of the nature of Earth and
Universe, produced a sense of enthusiasm and excitement; new insights and discoveries enlightened the
general public and kindled the imaginations of the young. An air of optimism prevailed.
Although money for science at the time was in short supply, scientists maintained a kind of self-discipline.
A graduate student working on a Ph.D. degree was expected to make a new discovery to earn that
degree, even if it meant starting over after years of work because someone else made the discovery first.
Self-discipline was also part of the scientific publication system. Prior to World War II, when a scientist
wanted to publish a paper, the scientist would send it to the editor of a scholarly journal for publication and
generally it would be published. A new, unpublished scientist was required to obtain the endorsement of a
published scientist before submitting a manuscript. The concept of 'peer review' had not yet been born.
But in the final decades of the 20th century, circumstances began to change. On one hand, outwardly, it
seemed we were poised for yet another renaissance, with ready access to powerful new computers,
satellite imaging, network data systems, and global communications. But, on the other hand, out of sight
and unknown to nearly everyone, something had gone seriously wrong. Beneath the surface lay the
foundations of a system which had been corrupted and had evolved to support a 'politically correct'
consensus-view of Earth and Universe, while tending to discourage, ignore, stifle and suppress advances
and challenges by individuals.

Before World War II, there was very little government funding of science, but that changed because of
war-time necessities. In 1951, the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) was established to provide
support for post-World War II civilian scientific research. The process for administrating the government's
science-funding, invented in the early 1950s by NSF, has been adopted, essentially unchanged, by
virtually all subsequent U.S. Government science-funding agencies, such as the National Aeronautics and
Space Administration (NASA) and the U. S. Department of Energy (DOE).
The problem, one discovers, is that the science-funding process that the NSF invented and passed on to
other U.S. Government agencies is seriously and fundamentally flawed. As a consequence, for more than
half a century, the NSF has been doing what no foreign power or terrorist organization can do: slowly,
corrupting individuals and institutions and rewarding the deceitful and the institutions that they serve.
Unfortunately this gene has been passed onto NASA in no small measure.
In Genesis 11, the Bible tells the story of a group of people who gathered in Mesopotamia and began
building an ancient stairway to heaven, the Tower of Babel. It was quite a focused effort. And it got the
attention of God. God said,
”Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And
nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them.”
Did you notice the last sentence?
“And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them.”
God interrupted the building of the Tower. But that is not
the point of this post. God Himself took note of a people,
unified in purpose and what they could accomplish
together. There’s really no evidence that these people
were in covenant relationship with God. Indeed it seems
to be this lack of a relationship with Him that prompted
Him to break up the party. Because “nothing…will now
be impossible for them.”
Since the 20th century NASA has been on an expedition
to open up the impossible and to go beyond the clouds
and conquer space. In December 1968, the Apollo 8
mission laid out a milestone in the conquest of space by
actually going to the Moon and circumnavigating it for the
first time. Being so far away from Earth, it also produced
the first complete picture of our planet.
Since then, the human race achieved a long sought goal, the exploration of the Solar System. Men have
set foot on the Moon and unmanned probes have visited every planet in the Solar System. The next
logical step is no longer to explore, but to colonize. The evolution of space travel can lead us to permanent
settlements in outer space, where we can establish communities in which pioneers will live in the New

Frontier whist the earth suffers the consequences of man's industry through global warming. That is what
they would have us to believe.
The question then, is there a biblical mandate to explore and colonize space?
With so many unsolved problems on our own planet why should humans commit themselves to space
exploration? Why should time and trillions of dollars be dedicated to designing spacecraft and
technological solutions to explore outer space when the same money could be used to provide for the
urgent necessities that we are facing here on Earth such as famine, disease and poverty.
To answer the questions just raised we had to discover and find out what is the motive behind the space
race and what were the circumstances around how NASA was conceived? This would then help provide
some context as to whether the present and rapid development of space technology is something that is
for the good of mankind or something that has a completely different motive and agenda to what we are
led to believe.
160 pages later we have come to the conclusion that there is more than meets your eye when it comes to
who NASA are and what they represent and it is not good. If it is not for good then this means that we
could witness in the future a "deja vu" of what happened over 3000 years ago, where the plans of NASA
will lead them into an almighty confrontation with the creator of the universe.

2. THE FOUNDERS OF JET PROPULSION LABORATORY
In addressing the occultic origins of NASA all roads seem to lead back to a man called Jeff Parsons. In the
fall of 1936, a group of enterprising young men in Pasadena, California decided to risk their reputations
and give engineering substance to rocket fantasy. The "rocket boys" were an unusual bunch. Frank Malina
was studying aerodynamics at Caltech's Guggenheim Aeronautical Laboratory, Jack Parsons was a selftaught chemist, and Ed Forman was an excellent mechanic. They scraped together cheap engine parts,
and on October 31, 1936, drove to an isolated area called the Arroyo Seco at the foot of the San Gabriel
Mountains.

Four times that day they tried to test fire their small rocket motor. On the last attempt, they accidentally set
fire to their oxygen line, which whipped around shooting fire! These were the first rocket experiments in the
history of Jet Propulsion Laboratories (JPL). They tried again on November 15, 1936, and their experiment
finally worked.
Jack Parsons became an American rocket propulsion researcher at the
California Institute of Technology. He was one of the principal founders of the
Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and the Aerojet Corporation along with Qian
Xue-Sian and Theodore Von Karman. Their rocket research was some of the
earliest in the United States, and their pioneering work in the development of
solid fuel and the invention of JATO units for aircraft was of great importance
to the start of humanity’s space age. Von Karman declared that the work of
Parsons and his peers helped usher in the age of space travel for NATO. In
fact both Parsons and Von Karman have craters on the moon which are
named after them.

Born on October 2, 1914, in Los Angeles he lived a lonely childhood, due in part to his parents' broken
marriage. He spent a great deal of his youth reading and day-dreaming, and nurturing a growing
resentment of all interference, especially of the kind posing as "authority." He developed strong
revolutionary tendencies and when he encountered Crowley's writings -- which he first did through a friend
called Wilfred T. Smith, he was instantly alive to the significance of Thelema.
Parsons had always been interested in occultism, but his path to notoriety really started in 1941, when he
joined the California-based Agape lodge of Aleister Crowley's Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O). Parsons
threw himself into the Eastern-inspired mysticism and hormonally inspired sex magic of Thelema, the
religion Crowley had either devised or channeled from beyond. Parsons was an immediate success. He
quickly took over the Agape lodge. Crowley and his associates spoke of him as a potential successor.
Crowley himself was a man who reveled in being called “Great Beast 666″ and had been dubbed by the
press as the “Wickedest Man in History”. He also had ties with some of the world’s most powerful figures,
even working with the British Intelligence Agency MI-5.
In 1929 Crowley authored a publication called Moonchild. The fictional account is based on a plot in which
before the beginning of World War I, a young woman named Lisa la Giuffria is seduced by a white
magician, Cyril Grey, and persuaded into helping him in a magical battle with a black magician and his
black lodge. Grey is attempting to raise the level of his force by impregnating the girl with the soul of an
ethereal being — the moonchild. To achieve this, she is kept in a secluded environment, and many
preparatory magical rituals are carried out. The black magician Douglas is bent on destroying Grey’s plan.
However, Grey's ultimate motives may not be what they appear. The moonchild rituals are carried out in
southern Italy, but the occult organizations are based in Paris and England. At the end of the book, the
war breaks out, and the white magicians support the Allies, while the black magicians support the Central
Powers.
Parsons was young and impressionable. He had gone through repeated upheavals during his short life.
He was vulnerable. According to the writings of the Scientology cult, The U.S. Navy assigned L. Ron
Hubbard to monitor Parsons as part of a plan to “break up a black magic ring.” Hubbard made a big
impression on him. Parsons forgot his obligation and violated his oath to the Order. He revealed to
Hubbard the secrets of the highest grades of the OTO.
Parsons wrote to Crowley in July, 1945,

"About three months ago I met Cap L Ron Hubbard, a writer and explorer of whom I had known for some time
[because he wrote science fiction]...He moved in with me about two months ago, and although Betty (his first wife)
and I are still friendly, she has transferred her sexual affections to him...We are pooling our resources in a
partnership that will act as a limited company to control our business ventures. I think I have made a great gain, and
as Betty and I are the best of friends there is little loss..I need a magical partner. I have many experiments in mind." 1
The magical partner Parsons envisioned was to be his partner in a 9th Degree working. Anthony Testa in
his book The Keys of the Abyss states,
"Having lost confidence in women, Parsons decided to attract an Elemental Spirit to take Betty's place..." 2
These spirits are called Elementals because of their association with the four elements of the ancients.
According to John Symonds, Crowley’s biographer, narcotics and hallucinogens were a basic staple of
Crowley's magical diet.3 It was supposedly easier to induce astral vision when one alternately dulls and
excites the senses by chemical means. Combined with sex magick, this makes a powerful tool.
Sometime later as inspired by Crowley, Parsons and Hubbard engaged upon a mission entitled Babalon
Working. The goal was to produce the “Moonchild”. a being who embodies physically a spirit deity, but not
inhabited by a human soul. This being is also referred to as a “Magical Child” (essentially designed to
manifest an individual incarnation of the archetypal divine feminine called Babalon). The process drew
heavily from rituals and magick that Crowley derived from The Babylonian Ishtar and the “Great Whore”
from the biblical Book of Revelation.
According to occultism a moonchild is created by impregnating the mother to be under certain astrological
tides related to the Moon. For the entire nine months, she is wrapped in a kind of occult cocoon in order to
cultivate the extreme passivity needed so that she would be receptive to lunar visions. During the
ceremony author and fellow magician Ron Hubbard, acted as a scribe noting the results of the magical
workings.
When Parsons declared that the first of the series of rituals was complete and successful, he almost
immediately met a woman called Marjorie Cameron in his own home, and regarded her as the creation of
the ritual, considered to be the "Scarlet Woman", and soon began the next stage of the series an attempt
to conceive a child through sexual magick workings.
Parsons wanted to attempt an experiment in black magic that would push
back the frontiers of the occult world. With the assistance of his new
friend, he intended to try and create a 'moonchild' - the magical child
'mightier than all the kings of the earth,' whose birth had been prophesied
in Crowleys, The Book of the Law more than forty years earlier. Although
no child was conceived, this did not affect the result of the ritual to that
point. Parsons and Cameron soon married.
Former high ranking Scientologists Brent Corydon and Hubbard's son, L.
Ron Hubbard Jr., wrote,
"In order to obtain a woman prepared to bear this magical child, Parsons and Hubbard engaged themselves for
eleven days of rituals ¼ on January 18th, Parsons found the girl who was prepared to become the mother of

Babylon, and to go through the required incantation rituals. During these rituals, which took place on the first three
days of March 1946, Parsons was High Priest and had sexual intercourse with the girl, while Hubbard who was
present acted as seer, or clairvoyant and described what was supposed to be happening on the astral plane" 4
The only other reference to a 'moonchild ceremony' being performed is by Adolf Hitler:
“Sklar Pretzsche had introduced Hitler to consciousness-expanding drugs, as well as to astrological and alchemical
symbolism. Hitler told Stein that Pretzsche had been present when List tried to materialize "the Incubus" in a ritual
designed to create a "Moon Child." "...About 1912, disciples of Lanz and List started the Germanen Orden under the
leadership of a member of List's Armanen, a journalist named Philipp Stauff, and several others.” 5
The 1968 movie Rosemary’s Baby is one of Roman Polanski’s most chilling and acclaimed productions.
The film describes the manipulation of a young woman by a high-society occult coven for ritualistic
purposes. The movie’s un- settling quality does not rely on blood and gore but on its realistic premise,
Roman’s Polanski’s 1968 movie is a faithful adaption of Ira Levin’s best-selling novel that appeared only a
year before. Although it contains no blood or gore, Rosemary’s Baby is considered to be one of the
scariest movies of all time. Why? The creepy nature of the film is not in its special effects, but in its realistic
premise. The story takes place in a real apartment building (the Dakota) that has a real reputation of
attracting eccentric elements of New York’s high society.
The evil coven is not composed of stereotypical, pointy-nose witches but of friendly neighbors, prestigious
doctors and distinguished individuals. They are elegant, rational and intelligent and are connected to
important people. The realism of the movie forces the viewers to ponder on the existence of such groups,
to a point that some feared that the movie, after its release would cause an all-out witch hunt. Rosemary’s
manipulation is also extremely realistic, causing the viewers to think: “It could happen to me”.
Rosemary and Guy Woodhouse (played by Mia Farrow and John Cassavetes) are a young couple who
are looking to rent an apartment at the Bramford. Guy is a struggling actor who is not able to obtain
recognition or important roles and has to resort to appearing in degrading TV commercials to generate
some income. Rosemary is a frail and shy country girl who comes from a strict Catholic background. The
name Rosemary has historically been associated with the Virgin Mary, who is said to have spread her
cloak over a white-blossomed rosemary bush when she was resting, turning it blue. In the movie, the kind
and trusting Rosemary will become a sort of “Black Virgin Mary”, bearing within her womb the child of
Satan.
Parsons association with an individual who would become hugely influential: L. Ron Hubbard, the man
who would establish the Church of Scientology, is also of significance. Parsons took a great liking to

Hubbard, who was then a U.S. Navy Captain, and initiated him to the secrets of the O.T.O. In a 1946
communiqué to Crowley, Parsons wrote:
“About three months ago I met Ron. Hubbard…Although Ron has no formal training in Magick, he has an
extraordinary amount of experience and understanding in the field…He is the most thelemic person I have ever met
and is in complete accord with our principles…. He is also interested in establishing the New Aeon…We are pooling
our resources in a partnership that will act as a limited company to control our business ventures.“ 6
Hubbard’s Church of Scientology is today an extremely influential and well-funded sect that boasts within
its ranks more than 8 million members, including high-profile celebrities like Tom Cruise, Will Smith, John
Travolta and Lisa Marie Presley.
For Parsons accomplishments, a large crater on the far side of the Moon was named in his honor, and
each and every year, on Halloween no less, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory holds an open-house
memorial, replete with mannequins of Jack Parsons and his early JPL cohorts known as "Nativity Day."
And, within the aerospace community, there is a longstanding joke that JPL actually stands for "Jack
Parsons Laboratory" or "Jack Parsons Lives."
In fact, however, this man Parsons, who was so revered and honored by very senior figures within the
U.S. space-program, was an admitted occultist, a follower of Aleister Crowley, and someone who topped
even Crowley himself. Moreover, before each rocket test, Parsons would undertake a ritual to try and
invoke the Greek god, Pan. And, on top of that, much of Parsons’, and the JPL’s initial rocket research in
this period was undertaken at the appropriately named Devil’s Gate Dam in Los Angeles.
Parsons eventually fell foul of the FBI after they viewed him as a security risk due to the unlimited amount
of access he had to government documents and the fact that he was part of a secret cult.
"The board has decided as of 7 January 1952 to revoke the clearance granted you through top secret of 7 March
1949, and to withdraw access by you to Department of Defense classified information and/or material. The foregoing
and all the evidence in the case file, when considered with the duties and responsibilities of any position in which you
may be engaged with Department of Defense classified contract work, indicate that you might voluntarily or
involuntarily act against the security interest of the United States and constitute a danger to the national security."7
Qian Xue-Sian the other founder of JPL was also
investigated by the FBI during the heightened political
repression in the United States against communists
between 1950-1956. The United States government
accused Qian of having communist sympathies, and he
was stripped of his security clearance in 1950. Qian then
decided to return to China, but instead was detained at
Terminal Island near Los Angeles.
After spending 5 years under virtual house arrest, Qian was released in 1955, in exchange for the
repatriation of American pilots captured during the Korean War. Notified by U.S. authorities that he was
free to go, Qian immediately arranged his departure, leaving for China in September 1955, on the
passenger liner SS President Cleveland of American President Lines, via Hong Kong. He returned to lead
the Chinese rocket program, and became known as the "Father of Chinese Rocketry".

However Qian Xue-Sian did not leave the US before having the opportunity to debrief an individual known
as Wernher Von Braun, a Nazi scientist brought to the United States under Operation Paperclip. More on
Wernher Von Braun is discussed later in this report.
While this side of Jack Parsons and his accomplishments is not common knowledge among typical
armchair space buffs, neither is it secret. At least two books have been written about Parsons' occult
enthusiasms: 'Sex and Rockets: The Occult World of Jack Parsons' by John Carter and Robert Anton
Wilson and 'Strange Angel: The Otherworldly Life of Rocket Scientist John Whiteside Parsons by George
Pendle.
A review of this latter book offers an admirably succint overview of Parsons' bizarre life and death:
“He became enraptured with the writings of the British occultist Aleister Crowley and joined the L.A.-based Agape
Lodge of Crowley's Ordo Templi Orientis. Crowley's American lieutenants seized on the charismatic and successful
scientist as a potential savior for their movement; he began donating almost all his salary to the upkeep of his lodge
brethren...after the war his occult activism attracted the young L. Ron Hubbard into his life and home. The scalawag
pulp writer, pre-Dianetics, took off for Florida with Jack's girl and most of his money...the official Scientology line —
unsupported by any evidence—is that Hubbard was sent by Naval Intelligence to break up Parsons' evil occult sex
ring. As the '40s wound down Parsons was stripped of his security clearance and almost prosecuted for treason for
slipping classified documents from his then-employer, Hughes Aircraft, to the nascent Israeli government, with whom
he was negotiating for a rocket guru gig...some people regard the 1952 explosion that killed him in his Pasadena
backyard lab as mysterious.8

3. OPERATION PAPERCLIP
The connection between Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and Wernher Von Braun was a result of
extraordinary events that took place at the end of World War II. American soldiers fighting in World War II
had barely laid down their guns when hundreds of German and Austrian scientists, including a number
implicated in Nazi war crimes, began immigrating to the United States. They were brought here under a
secret intelligence project codenamed Paperclip.
Operation Paperclip was a project initiated by the American Office of Strategic Services (OSS) in which
over 1,500 German scientists, technicians, and engineers from Nazi Germany and other foreign countries
were brought to the United States for employment in the aftermath of World War II. One purpose of
Operation Paperclip was to deny German scientific expertise and knowledge moving to the Soviet Union
and the United Kingdom, as well as inhibiting post-war Germany from redeveloping its military research
capabilities.
Ever since, the U.S. government has successfully promoted the lie that Paperclip was a short term
operation limited to a few postwar raids on Hitler's hoard of scientific talent. The General Accounting Office
even claims that the project ended in 1947. All of which is sheer propaganda. Linda Hunt, a former CNN
investigative reporter, tells in her publication, Secret Agenda, a shocking tale of how a branch of the US
government deliberately thwarted attempts to bring to justice Nazi scientists who were guilty of war crimes,
and who, in at least one case, actually participated in fresh atrocities in the US.
While it is common knowledge that the U.S used Nazi scientists during the cold war, Hunt revealed for the
first time that the project to recruit and utilize Nazi scientific talent continued until 1973. Paperclip was the
biggest, longest running operation involving Nazis in our country's history. Initially Although at least 1500
hundred scientific and research specialists and thousands of their dependents were brought to the U.S.,
hundreds of others arrived under two other Paperclip related projects and went to work for universities,
defense contractors, and CIA fronts. The Paperclip operation eventually became such a juggernaut that in
1956 one American ambassador characterized it as "a continuing U.S. recruitment program which has no
parallel in any other Allied country." 9

The lie that Paperclip ended in the 1940s has conveniently concealed some of the most damning
information about the project, in particular the shocking revelation that one of the intelligence officers who
ran it was an American spy, U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel William Henry Whaler, the highest-placed
American military officer ever convicted of espionage. Despite the extensive publicity devoted to Whalen's
trial in the 1960s, exactly what he did for the joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) was not disclosed. During 1959 and
1960 Whalen was at the helm of the joint Intelligence Objectives Agency (JIOA) which means he was
running Paperclip at the same time he was selling America's defense secrets to Soviet intelligence agents.
The legacy of Paperclip is said to be the moon rockets, jet planes, and other scientific achievements that
were a product of postwar research in this country. This is true as far as it goes. What the project's
defenders fail to mention is that its legacy also includes the horrific psychochemical experiments
conducted on American soldiers at Edgewood Arsenal, Maryland, the U.S. Army center for chemical
warfare research. This was essentially a continuation of the same horrific experiments that were carried
out by Nazi Germany on millions of Jews and gypsies.

Of particular interest within the paperclip recruitment process were German scientists specialising in
aerodynamics and rocketry (such as those involved in the V-1 and V-2 projects), chemical weapons,
chemical reaction technology and medicine. These scientists and their families were secretly brought to
the United States, without State Department review and approval; their service for Hitler's Third Reich,
NSDAP and SS memberships as well as the classification of many as war criminals or security threats
also disqualified them from officially obtaining visas. The majority of the scientists, numbering almost 500,
were deployed at White Sands Proving Ground, New Mexico, Fort Bliss, Texas and Huntsville, Alabama to
work on guided missile and ballistic missile technology. This in turn led to the foundation of NASA and the
US ICBM program.
Wernher von Braun, the infamous Nazi scientist crucial to the development of the V-2 rocket which held
a payload of 2,000 pounds and flew five times beyond the speed of sound had seen this time coming
even whilst the war was still in process. In March 1945, he conscripted two friends to stash his most
important research out in an abandoned mine. When Germany lost the war, von Braun said, he’d use
these documents to broker a new life in the United States.
He knew that no matter whatever atrocities were eventually discovered, no major world power would
refuse the technological advances made by the Nazis nor could they afford not to know how to combat
them, vaccinate against them, outpace them. As of May 1945, Werner von Braun was No. 1 on
America’s list for desired Nazi rocket scientists. When he surrendered to US forces on May 2 having
voluntarily decamped from a luxury ski resort in the Alps, von Braun and his colleagues were treated to a
hearty breakfast of eggs, coffee and bread, then given freshly made beds in which to sleep.
von Braun's associates included:

Arthur Rudolph, chief operations director at Nordhausen, where 20,000 slave labourers died
producing V-2 missiles. Led the team which built the Saturn V rocket. Described as "100 per cent
Nazi, dangerous type".
•
Kurt Debus, rocket launch specialist, another SS officer. His report stated: "He should be interned
as a menace to the security of the Allied Forces."
•
Hubertus Strughold, later called "the father of space medicine", designed Nasa's on-board lifesupport systems. Some of his subordinates conducted human "experiments" at Dachau and
Auschwitz, where inmates were frozen and put into low-pressure chambers, often dying in the
process.

All of these men were cleared to work for the US, their alleged crimes covered up and their backgrounds
bleached by a military which saw winning the Cold War, and not upholding justice, as its first priority.
Between 1950 and 1956, von Braun led the U.S. Army's rocket development team at Redstone Arsenal,
resulting in the Redstone rocket. In 1955 von Braun became a naturalized citizen of the United States.
Still dreaming of a world in which rockets would be used for space exploration, von Braun in 1952
published his concept of a space station in a Collier's Weekly magazine series of articles entitled Man Will
Conquer Space Soon! These articles were illustrated by the space artist Chesley Bonestell and were
influential in spreading his ideas. In the hope that its involvement would bring about greater public interest
in the future of the space program, von Braun also began working with the Disney studios as a technical
director, initially for three television films about space exploration. His profile and work even brought him
face to face in showing President Kennedy around the Army Ballistic Missile Agency in 1963.

4. VON BRAUN’S INFLUENCE ON NASA
From 1946, the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA), a US federal agency had been
experimenting with rocket planes such as the supersonic Bell X-1. In the early 1950s, there was a
challenge to launch an artificial satellite for the International Geophysical Year (1957–58). The effort to
meet this requirement was placed under Project Vanguard.
A significant contributor to NASA's entry into the Space Race with the Soviet Union was the technology
from the German rocket program led by Wernher von Braun, who was now working for the Army Ballistic
Missile Agency (ABMA), which in turn incorporated the technology of American scientist Robert Goddard's
earlier works. Earlier research efforts within the U.S. Air Force and many of ARPA's early space programs
were also transferred to NASA.
It was not until 1957 and the launch of Sputnik 1 that America realized how far it lagged behind the Soviet
Union in the emerging Space Race. After the U.S. Navy's attempt at building a rocket to lift satellites into
orbit resulted in the very unreliable Vanguard, American authorities recognized they needed von Braun
and his team's experience, so quickly had them transferred to NASA.
Prior to this, in 1954, JPL (Jack Parson’s company, now led by Xue-Sian due to Parsons death in 1952)
teamed up with Wernher von Braun’s rocketeers at the Army Ballistic Missile Agency’s Redstone Arsenal
in Huntsville, Alabama, to propose orbiting a satellite during the International Geophysical Year. The team
had lost that proposal to Project Vanguard, and instead embarked on a classified project to demonstrate
ablative re-entry technology using a Jupiter-C rocket. They carried out three successful sub-orbital flights
in 1956 and 1957. Using a spare Jupiter-C, the two organizations then launched America’s first satellite,
Explorer 1, on February 1, 1958.

After the Soviet Union launch of the world's first artificial satellite (Sputnik 1) on October 4, 1957, the
attention of the United States turned toward its own fledgling space efforts. The U.S. Congress, alarmed
by the perceived threat to national security and technological leadership (known as the "Sputnik crisis"),
urged immediate and swift action; President Dwight D. Eisenhower and his advisers counseled more
deliberate measures. This led to an agreement that a new federal agency mainly based on NACA was
needed to conduct all non-military activity in space. The Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) was
created in February 1958 to develop space technology for military application.
On July 29, 1958, Eisenhower signed the National Aeronautics and Space Act, establishing NASA as a
civilian department rather than a military one. When it began operations on October 1, 1958, NASA
absorbed the 46-year-old NACA intact; its 8,000 employees, an annual budget of US$100 million, three
major research laboratories (Langley Aeronautical Laboratory, Ames Aeronautical Laboratory, and Lewis
Flight Propulsion Laboratory) and two small test facilities. JPL was then absorbed by NASA in December
1958, becoming the agency’s primary planetary spacecraft center.
A NASA seal was approved by President Eisenhower in 1959. Elements of the Army Ballistic Missile
Agency and the United States Naval Research Laboratory were incorporated into NASA.
In 1960 NASA opened the new Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama and transferred von
Braun and his development team there from the ABMA at Redstone Arsenal. Presiding from July 1960 to
February 1970, von Braun became the Center's first Director.

The Marshall Center's first major program was development of the Saturn rockets to carry heavy payloads
into and beyond Earth orbit. Wernher von Braun's dream to help mankind set foot on the Moon became a
reality on July 16, 1969 when a Marshall-developed Saturn V rocket launched the crew of Apollo 11 at the
start of its historic eight-day mission. Over the course of the Apollo program Saturn V rockets enabled six
teams of astronauts to reach the surface of the Moon. At the time of the first moon-landing von Braun
publicly expressed his optimism that the Saturn rocket would continue to be developed, advocating
manned missions to Mars in the 1980s based on the Saturn V.
During the late 1960s, von Braun played an instrumental role in the development of the U.S. Space &
Rocket Center in Huntsville. The desk from which he enabled America's entry in the Space Race remains
on display there. In 1970, von Braun and his family relocated from Huntsville to Washington, D.C. when he
was assigned the post of NASA's Deputy Associate Administrator for Planning at NASA Headquarters.
However, with the truncation of the Apollo program, von Braun retired from NASA in June 1972, as it
became evident that his and NASA's visions for future U.S. space flight projects were different.
After leaving NASA, von Braun became a vice-president of Fairchild Industries in Germantown, Maryland,
where he helped establish and promote the National Space Institute, a precursor of the present-day
National Space Society. In 1976 he became scientific consultant to Lutz Kayser; the CEO of OTRAG; and
a member of the Daimler-Benz board of directors.
In 1976 von Braun also learned he had cancer. Despite surgery, the cancer progressed, forcing him to
retire from Fairchild on December 31, 1976. Von Braun sustained an injury from a crash and unknown to
him started to bleed internally. By the time his family convinced him to go to the hospital it was too late to
stop the bleeding. On June 16, 1977, Wernher von Braun died in Alexandria, Virginia at the age of 65.
However von Braun did not die before looking to make some amends for previous atrocities by
dramatically revealing and warning about a strategy that would be used by the military industrial complex
to facilitate the development of a one world government. We will come to this a little later on in this report.

5. THE AMERICAN ORTHODOX CATHOLIC CHURCH
The Maury island incident which happened in 1947 is seen as the trigger point for the development of the
UFO phenomena. The event took place the very same year as the Kenneth Arnold UFO sighting, Roswell,
the creation of the CIA and the creation of the Department of the Air Force. Many conspiracy researchers
will identify there is too much coincidence behind all these supposedly individual events happening in the
same year, for them not to be connected.
Based on declassified FBI documents, The Maury Island Incident tells the incredible, tragic, and forgotten
story of Harold Dahl and Fred Crisman, who on June 21, 1947, alleged a UFO sighting over Maury Island
in Puget Sound, Washington, sparking 'the summer of the saucers,' the modern era of UFO obsession, the
first appearance of 'Men in Black' and a governmental battle over UFO sighting jurisdiction reaching
directly to FBI Executive Director J. Edgar Hoover.
Crisman and Dahl said they were harbor patrolmen on a workboat and saw six doughnut shaped objects
in the sky near Maury Island. According to Crisman and Dahl, one of the objects dropped a substance that
resembled lava or "white metal" onto their boat, breaking a worker's arm and killing a dog. Dahl claimed he
was later approached by a man in a dark suit and told not to talk about the incident. The story was later
retold in Gray Barker's book They Knew Too Much About Flying Saucers10 which helped to popularize the
image of "men in black" in mainstream culture. Dahl later retracted his claims, stating the story was a hoax
however whether the story was a hoax or not, what transpired from it really paved the way for a series of
unusual events.
One of those unusual events is that some of the people involved in investigating the Maury Island incident
had ties to a secret space program and were also bishops in the American Orthodox Catholic Church.
Members of this church ordained as bishops included Walter Myron 'Propheta', David Ferrie, Jack Martin,
Carl (Christopher) Stanley, Tomlin Jude Baumer (a New Orleans Lawyer) and Thomas Beckham.
However unusually the church had a lot of bishops, not many priests, and no congregation and rarely at
the time did it have a building arousing suspicion as to what these bishops were actually hiding.
On the board of directors of the American Orthodox Catholic Church was J Edgar Hoover, the head of the
Federal Bureau of Investigation, the man who gave us the "X-FILES" as well as Guy Bannister the lead
investigator in the Maury Island incident and the rest.

The church appeared in the FBI files relating to the JFK assassination because basically everyone orbiting
the main suspects were either bishops or directors of this church yet were also involved in the
investigation of UFO incidents.
Historically the American Orthodox Catholic Church
(AOCC) had its origins in Eastern Orthodoxy, which was
in disarray after the Russian Revolution. In the 1960s,
Bishop Carl Stanley was one of the church's leaders in
the Midwest. He had participated in the consecration of
Jack Martin and David Ferrie, two of the most notorious
members of what New Orleans District Attorney Jim
Garrison decided was a conspiracy of anti-Castro
Cubans, right-wing zealots, intelligence agents (and
others) to murder the President. Stanley himself,
according to documents in the National Archives, was a
convicted felon with a substantial rap sheet. He was
under investigation by the FBI after the assassination,
evidently because Stanley himself had reported on his relationship with Ferrie and Martin and his
suspicion that the two men were involved in the killing of the President.
Garrison picked up on these threads during his own investigation in 1967-68, and cast a wider net:
eventually, he would be seeking to dispose wandering bishops including Earl Anglin James, who had
consecrated the bishop who consecrated Stanley in the first place. From the aristocratic Russian Orthodox
Church Outside Russia to the somewhat sleazier American Orthodox Catholic Church, the ties to the
Kennedy assassination were numerous and suggestive.
One of Stanley's associates, and the man who would take over the AOCC as its 'patriarch' a few
years later, was Bishop Walter Myron Propheta. Propheta was a hard-line anti-Communist who had
supported Dewey during the campaign against President Truman. A Ukrainian by birth, he had been a
priest with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, another staunchly anti-Communist organization, since the
Ukrainian people had suffered tremendously under the Moscow regime, which had tried to exterminate
their language and culture along with a number of their political activists, and had left the church to
form his own congregation. The reasons for this are a little murky, and may have had more to do with
politics than religion, since leaving the Church led by Bishop Bohdan and joining a suspect group that has
been dismissed by most commentators as a kind of 'bishop mill' could not be seen as a particularly
intelligent move.
"The key word here is 'intelligent,' for it seems that the AOCC – particularly under Propheta – was just that: a front for
an intelligence organization. As suspected by Jim Garrison, the AOCC was hand in glove with a number of convert
intelligence operations being run in the United States and abroad, the Church providing 'cover' in the form of
authentic-looking religious documents, clerical outfits, and a widespread network of wondering bishops who for the
most part were all rabidly right-wing. David Ferrie and Jack Martin were only the tip of the iceberg, for Propheta found
himself involved in everything from the Biafran civil war to the Italian elections in the 1960s. One of his successors is
now believed – by Italian military intelligence – to been involved in money laundering for Serbian terrorists during the
latest crisis in Bosnia and Kosovo." 11

Peter Levenda is the only researcher to attempt an in-depth study of the AOCC, first in the initial volume of
his ground breaking Sinister Forces trilogy, and later in a series of lengthy articles published on his Sinister
Forces blog entitled The Bishop and the Boys. There are a few compelling points made in this series that
need to be repeated. The first is the fact that Ferrie and Jack Martin were not the only "wandering bishops"
working for Guy Banister in New Orleans in 1963.
"... At one time, there were as many as four “bishops” functioning from Guy Banister’s Camp Street office, and these
included virtually all of his investigators, from David Ferrie and Jack Martin to Thomas Beckham and the lawyer
Thomas Jude Baumler. Beckham was a bishop with the Universal Life Church, along with his friend Fred Lee
Crisman (the man who was involved with the seminal UFO event of the 20th century, the Maury Island affair) and
with Raymond Broshears, yet another minister of the Universal Life Church and later with one of the Orthodox sects
with lines to Stanley, and who became a well-known gay activist in San Francisco later on. (Broshears would claim,
probably falsely, to have lived with David Ferrie in New Orleans; however, it seems certain that he was at least an
acquaintance of Ferrie.) In addition, Ferrie, Martin, Beckham, Broshears and Baumler all shared the same apostolic
succession: that of Bishop Earl Anglin James in Canada (about whom more later) and of Bishop Carl Stanley of the
American Orthodox Catholic Church." 12
It should also be noted that the AOCC was not actually in existence at the time of the Kennedy
assassination, but was founded shortly thereafter. However, several of the bishops behind the AOCC were
already a part of the "wandering bishop" network at the time of the assassination.
"In the first place, the American Orthodox Catholic Church (at least, the version we are discussing) had not yet been
created. That would happen less than a year later. Stanley at the time was bishop of something called the Holy
Catholic Apostolic Church, as well as of the Byzantine Primitive Catholic Church, Old Catholic Church in North
America. (He was joined in both of these operations by one Cyril T. Omarra, about whom the author can discover
nothing so far.) Martin claimed to have been investigating Stanley 'for several private clients' during the period 19591966, and had ordination and consecration certificates from Stanley’s various churches dating from as early as 1960.
Yet, Martin was an eager and active participant in the American Orthodox Catholic Church until his death, hardly the
position of someone who held a dim view of the organization. Was his politicking against Stanley (and Ferrie) of a
piece with what Propheta was doing in New York? Or was there a deeper motive involved, an attempt to divert
attention away from someone or something?
"That Martin and Stanley had a falling out in 1963 is certain; Stanley’s report to the FBI that year that Martin and
Ferrie were involved in a conspiracy to assassinate the President is proof positive of bad blood between them. What
doesn’t make much sense is the fact that Martin was a close associate of the other bishops who, together with
Stanley, formed the AOCC in 1964, after Stanley dropped the dime on Martin and Ferrie. The whole affair would
begin to look like an inspired disinformation operation if it weren’t for the fact that the central characters are so …
odd." 12
Earlier, Levenda provided some more compelling details about the intelligence connections of the AOCC
as well as their linkage to the JFK assassination:
"In the same year, Walter Propheta was in New York City forming the East Coast version of the AOCC. In 1967,
Propheta was involved with J. Edgar Hoover who evidently installed him as the “primate” of the American Orthodox
Catholic Church at a dinner in Manhattan. (This tie between Propheta and the FBI was known to the author from
Propheta’s own admission to him in 1968.) Once installed, he advised the other bishops that they had to present their
credentials to him to be approved as part of the new AOCC. While the other bishops refused, Stanley eagerly raced
to New York City. One wonders what “credentials” this convicted felon offered to Propheta and the FBI, for a month
later he was dead ... a few weeks after the controversial death of his bishop, David Ferrie.

"Ferrie had been introduced to Stanley by Jack Martin, an investigator with Guy Banister’s detective agency in New
Orleans. Martin has been portrayed as a hopeless drunk in Oliver Stone’s film of the assassination, and has been
given short-shrift in other studies of the New Orleans connection. Martin himself ratted out Banister, Stanley and
Ferrie to the FBI after the assassination when it became clear that District Attorney Jim Garrison was investigating
the case. We should not take this all at face value, however, for Martin – even though he pretended to be
investigating Carl Stanley – remained a bishop of the American Orthodox Catholic Church for many years after the
assassination and until the day he died, even participating in the consecration of Thomas Jude Baumler – a selfadmitted fascist and attorney who also worked briefly as an investigator for Guy Banister and as a New Orleans
politician in his own right – as late as 1974.
"Martin first attempted to have David Ferrie consecrated by another bishop on the East Coast, but the bishop felt that
there was something “unholy” about Ferrie, and he declined. Ferrie then went on to Stanley where he was more
successful. This occurs in the three year period before the Kennedy assassination." 12
Levenda states concerning the deaths of Stanley and Ferrie as well as possible links to the FBI.
"Carl Stanley met with Propheta in New York City in early February, 1967 according to information provided to the
author by another bishop. David Ferrie died in his New Orleans apartment on February 22, 1967. Ferrie’s associate,
Eladio del Valle (an anti-Castro Cuban) was murdered in a parking lot in Miami on the same day. The following day –
Feb 23, 1967 – Carl Stanley met with the FBI according to an FBI teletype dated March 9, 1967. (Was this on orders
or advice by Bishop Propheta, the FBI-installed "Primate"?) According to the available documentation, he used that
opportunity to further slander David Ferrie and Jack Martin. Ferrie, of course, had died just the day before. Clay
Shaw was arrested on March 1, 1967. Carl Stanley then died of an apparent heart attack on March 8, 1967 in
Louisville, Kentucky." 12
Just what kind of arrangement did the FBI and AOCC have? Did the FBI instruct Propheta to convince
Stanley to tell the Bureau what he really knew about the assassination and the role Martin and Ferrie
played in it? And was the FBI disturbed by what Stanley knew?
The FBI also seems to have performed services for the AOCC. Levenda goes on to report that Jack Martin
was able to furnish FBI files for applicants into "Holy Orders."
"My informant goes on to insist that Martin could be relied upon to furnish FBI files on 'future applicants for Holy
Orders', a strange capability for a hopeless drunk. It is widely rumored that Martin had a source at FBI headquarters
in New Orleans who provided him these files, but he also made it known that he was an investigator for the District
Attorney’s office – something of which the DA was presumably not aware! Yet he had an income of some kind, for he
was known to travel extensively throughout the United States for years on one errand or another involving the
bishops, a true 'wanderer'." 13
What were these "Holy Orders" and why were they important enough to warrant FBI background checks?
And how did Jack S. Martin, a figure often portrayed as a hopeless drunk, end up providing this service?
Earlier Levenda had given some incredible background details concerning the highly mysterious figure of
Martin:
"Jack Martin is a pretty common name, so perhaps we should not be surprised to see a Special Agent Jack S. Martin
appearing on Project Blue Book documents dating back to 1949, years before Edward Suggs changed his name (as
far as we know). This particular Jack S. Martin was in California at the same time as our Ed Suggs, but was working
for the OSI, or Office of Special Investigations, a department of the US Air Force. This is shown by OSI documents
from October 1949 in which S/A Jack S. Martin was investigating UFO sightings in northern California by an Edward
W. Gurband, a Roy Oliver Neely, and a Reverend Curtis Daniels that had taken place on August 1, 1949 in the San
Francisco area. Our Jack S. Martin, however, is not known to have changed his name that early and, besides, there
is no evidence at all that he ever worked for the Air Force. However, just to be devil’s advocate for a moment, there

was no US Air Force during World War II; it was known as the Army Air Corps then, so it is possible – just barely
possible – that Suggs/Martin did work for the Army Air Corps as an enlisted man or even as military police, but I have
been unable to find Suggs’ military record to confirm or deny this possibility. I just leave it here as an unresolved
issue. It would be amusing (if not a little unnerving) to discover that both Guy Banister and Jack Martin were
investigating UFOs for the government at the same time, though!
"Getting back to Suggs, however, we find that he was passing himself off as variously an FBI agent or a CIA agent in
the late 1950s and early 1960s, before the Kennedy assassination. An alcoholic, he wound up in a mental ward at
New Orleans’ Charity Hospital in January of 1957, with 'sociopathic personality disorder, antisocial type'. All during
this time he was married to the long-suffering Paula Martin and even had a child, but he was unable to hold down a
job for any length of time.
"This is a familiar pattern in the Kennedy assassination case. Lee Harvey Oswald had the same track record as a
married man with children, unable to hold down a job, and who had been under psychiatric observation (at least, in
the Soviet Union). If we are to believe the record, both men had delusions of grandeur and could be considered
antisocial sociopaths. And, of course, both had military service and both wound up in New Orleans at the same time,
working out of Guy Banister’s Camp Street office. Oswald, however, was not an alcoholic nor was he one of Carl
Stanley’s bishops.
"As another aside, both Ferrie and Martin were involved in unorthodox medical practices and experimentation.
Ferrie’s obsession with curing cancer is well-known and documented, as well as his practice of hypnosis, and Martin
had an on-again, off-again fascination with various forms of medicine, homeopathy, chiropracty, hypnosis, and the
like.
"In 1960, Martin was interviewed by the FBI on charges that he was impersonating an FBI agent. Martin seemed to
have offered the Feds a deal in which he would reveal that one Carl J. Stanley of Kentucky was running an illegal
operation by furnishing false ordination certificates and other worthless paper. The FBI interviewed Stanley himself,
and came away with the opinion that both Stanley and Martin were fruitcakes.
"There it would have ended had it not been for the events in Dallas of November, 1963 and a series of bizarre phone
calls that took place between Stanley and the FBI, and Martin and the FBI in the hours after the Kennedy
assassination." 13
You may be wondering why all of this is linked to NASA. Well rumour has it that JFK whilst in office was
contemplating the idea of collaborating with the Soviet Union in terms of a joint lunar exploration program.
He had sold the idea numerous times to the Kremlin but his last sales pitch at the United Nations General
Assembly on September 20th 1963 had seemed to have convinced Nikita Khrushchev, the Soviet leader to
move ahead based on revelations from Sergei Khrushchev (the son) in 1997. Coupled with his recent
decision to undermine the power of the Federal Reserve by the government printing its own American
bank dollar notes outside of the Federal Reserve, Kennedy was assassinated a few months later.
Many believe that Kennedy’s willingness to share and pool resources with the Soviet Union was
diametrically opposed to the plans that the global elite had for using the United States as the vehicle by
which to further develop UFO technology along with the resources provided by Operation Paperclip. Many
of the bishops in the American Orthodox Church were anti-communists and so would have not been
opposed to the idea of removing a president that was seeking to build bridges with an enemy.
The removal of John F Kennedy allowed the undercover elements of the US space program to continue
un-hindered as the United States pursued its role as the guardian of the new world order.

6. THE COUNCIL OF NINE
In a farmhouse in Maine in 1952, a séance that brought the recipients into contact with 9 supernatural
beings known as the “council of nine”, was led by a man who was moving in the same murky circles as
bishops Jack Martin and Fred Crisman of the AOCC. The man at the centre of this séance was Andrija
Puharich, US Army Captain and author of a government paper on the weaponisation of ESP. The
farmhouse in question was owned by his bizarro Round Table Foundation which appears to have received
funding from the CIA. Puharich had invited nine individuals to accompany him during this séance which
included Henry and Georgia Jackson, Alice Bouverie, Marcella Du Pont, Carl Betz, Vonnie Beck and
Arthur and Ruth Young.
For those of you familiar with American high society one name should immediately standout: Du Pont.
Marcella Du Pont was in fact a member of the fabulously wealthy clan, but the Du Ponts were hardly the
only families of power in attendance. There was also Alice Bouverie who was born Ava Alice Muriel Astor,
a descendant of John Jacob Astor, and the daughter of Colonel John Jacob Astor IV, who had died
aboard the Titanic when it sank. Her first husband had been an officer in the Czarist Army, Prince Serge
Obolensky, who would go on to become a major operator in the OSS during WWII. Needless to say, Mrs.
Bouverie was no stranger to the workings of the US intelligence community.
There was also Ruth Young, who had been known as Ruth Forbes Paine of the Forbes family, before
marrying Arthur Young. Mr. Young was a famous inventor, working for the Bell Corporation, and had been
instrumental in the creation of the Bell Helicopter. But the sway of this couple went well beyond the
military-industrial complex. In fact, the enigmatic Arthur Young may be one of the most significant figures
of the later 20th century. He was the chief financial patron behind the Nine for many years and a major
influence on the New Age movement in general via his mystical writings such as Consciousness and
Reality.
Arthur and Ruth also had a bizarre connection to the Kennedy assassination via Michael Paine, Ruth's son
from a previous marriage who married a woman also named Ruth. This Ruth, previously Ruth Hyde before
becoming Ruth Paine, was the daughter of a man employed by the Agency for International Development
which, was a well known CIA front.
By 1963 Michael and Ruth Paine had produced two children, but were separated while living in Irving,
Texas, a suburb of Dallas. On February 22 1963 Ruth met Lee Harvey Oswald and his wife, Marina at a

party being thrown amongst the émigré Russian community. In fact, the Oswald’s had been invited to the
party by George de Mohrenschildt, a Russian and a petroleum engineer with suspected ties to American
intelligence who committed suicide in 1977 shortly before he was scheduled to appear before the House
Sub-Committee on Assassinations.
Ruth Paine allegedly built an immediate bound with Marina Oswald and invited her to move into her home
in Irving, Texas with her child while Lee Harvey Oswald went to New Orleans to seek work. When he
returned to Dallas Texas it was Ruth Paine who helped Lee get his job at the Texas School Book
Depository while Marina and child continued to live with her. When the assassination occurred it was the
Paines who led the police to the place where Oswald hid his rifle. In fact, much evidence used to damn
Oswald was provided by Ruth Paine such as some of the famous photos of Oswald posing with his rifle,
the 'spy camera,' the fake Alex Hidell documents, and so forth.
Dr. Puharich had had previous contact with the supernatural being known as the “Council of Nine”. His first
encounter was channelled via a Dr Vinod in the Maine woods near Glen Cove, New Years Eve, 1952. This
was part of his work with the Round Table Foundation, a research institute specializing in all kinds of
arcane subjects such as cybernetics and ESP. It was founded in 1948 by Puharich with funding from a
variety of individuals, most notably former Secretary of Agriculture and later Vice-President Henry Wallace.
Wallace, a high-ranking Freemason, served under FDR and is the one responsible for placing the Great
Seal with the Masonic capstone on the back of the dollar bill.
After both his first and second sessions of channelling the Nine via Vinod, Puharich was drafted into the
Army, the second time for nearly two years in which he served as a Captain at Edgewood Arsenal working
on research into hallucinogenic drugs and psychic abilities. Specifically Puharich was attempting to find a
drug that would stimulate psychic ability, according to Lynn Picknett and Clive Prince in their marvellous
The Stargate Conspiracy. It's also highly likely Puharich began what become a life time association with
US intelligence. Prince and Picknett state:
"Ira Einhorn, Puharich's close associate in the 1970s, told us recently that, although Puharich had worked for the
CIA during the 1950s, he was no longer doing so twenty years later. However, the evidence points very much in the
other direction. Puharich's relationship with intelligence agencies almost certainly did not end in the 1950s. Uri
Geller told us at a meeting in his home near Reading in England in 1998 that: 'The CIA brought Puharich in to come
and get me out of Israel.' Jack Sarfatti goes further, claiming: 'Puharich was Geller's case officer in America with
money provided by Sir John Whitmore.' And according to James Hurtak, via his Academy For Further Sciences,
Puharich 'worked with the US intelligence community.' By implication this was during the early 1970s when he,
Hurtak, was also working with him." 14
Picknett and Prince speculate that much of Puharich's work as a private citizen on things such as the
Round Table Foundation and his research in Mexico on magic mushrooms may have also been on behalf
of the US intelligence community.
Even by the mid-1970s the Nine who had attended the séance had become big business. They had
several wealthy backers such as members of the Bronfmans clan, Canada's richest family, and Italian
nobleman Baron DiPauli. They would also gain celebrity backers such as Gene Roddenberry, the creator
of Star Trek. Roddenberry would go on to incorporate references into Star Trek via The Next Generation
and Deep Space Nine.

Purharich joined up with aristocratic former racing driver Sir John Whitmore and Florida-based psychic and
healer Phyllis Schlemmer. They found a new channeller, a Daytona cook known to history only by the
pseudonym 'Bobby Horne', who lived to regret his dealings with the “Council of Nine”. Driven to the brink
of suicide by their constant demands, he too dropped out of the scene, his despair being dismissed by
Whitmore as "signs of instability". After this, Phyllis Schlemmer was appointed the authorised
spokesperson for the entity, known simply as 'Tom', who represented The Nine.
Puharich, Whitmore and Schlemmer then set up Lab Nine at Puharich's estate in Ossining, New York. The
Nine's disciples included multi-millionaire businessmen (many hiding behind pseudonyms and including
members of Canada's richest family, the Bronfmans), European nobility, scientists from the Stanford
Research Institute and at least one prominent political figure who was a personal friend of President
Gerald Ford. Puharich would drop out of the Lab Nine circle in 1980 and would seemingly have no more
contact with the Nine from there on out. But by then it wouldn't matter. With wealthy and famous patrons
the Nine were well on their way to developing a devoted cult following.
So, what are we to make of the Nine and the powerful individuals that have flocked to them?
The Nine, aka The Council of Nine are alleged channelled beings who claim to be the extra-terrestrials
that the ancient Egyptians worshipped as gods. The idea of a "Nine" was not new to the occult
underground, particularly that rich and loamy corner where occultism and pop culture met. Popular pulp
writer and practicing Theosophist Talbot Mundy wrote a novel called The Nine Unknown based on an
ancient legend from India.15 This would have no small effect when Paris woke up from its Existential
nightmare to enter a new occult dream in the early 1960s.
But the content of The Nine, the stilted pronouncements and claims of alien beings masquerading as
Egyptian gods, the promises of a benevolent race coming to help mankind in its evolutionary development,
can be found almost verbatim in an extremely bizarre story from a November 1947 issue of Fantastic
Adventures, a magazine under the auspices of the legendary Ray Palmer, the legendary Amazing Stories
editor and creator of Fate Magazine.
Considering that all the nine people involved in the séance were all deeply involved with the military and/or
the establishment, it should be no surprise at all that they would keep their activities secret. They surely
knew of rocket scientist Jack Parsons, whose occult work had been a factor in the loss of his security
clearance, and one doubts that any of the Round Table group could afford to be on the receiving end of a
witch-hunt in America.
However the conclusion here is that many of the great influencers on the growth of the technological
advancement in the United States were heavily involved with the occult and UFO phenomenon.
