The NVB series refill hopper stocks bulk materials in feeding solutions. The NVB refill hopper can be adjusted for the
following feeds, based on the adjustable slope of the hopper chutes.
The NVB series consists of the following three sizes:

■ NVB12/1
■ NVB25/3
The NVB07/0.5 is based on the HLF07-M and has a fill volume of 0.5 litres. The NVB12/1 has a fill volume of 1 litre, and is
based on the NLF12-M. The HLF25-M has a fill volume of 3 litres, and is based on the NVB25/3.
A fixed attachment to the structure is made possible by the proven vibrating force compensation in Afag‘s linear
conveyors, ensuring a precisely reproducible location of the refilling device and subsequent feeding solutions.

Smart Box
For the first time, a compact control unit combines the intelligence of vibration conveyors, sensors and peripherals in one
device, the Smart Box. While the Smart Box takes over the control flow of the feeding station, various Afag control
units can be combined modularly. There is no need for the Afag controls to be opened or wired. Plug & Play for feeding
stations using the intelligent modular control concept from Afag.
The Smart Box provides three inputs and five outputs for supplying controllers, PLC and peripherals:
■ 1 x input for a higher-level controller (PLC or switch)
■ 2 x inputs for sensors such as light barrier or pendulum query
■ 3 x outputs for control devices of vibration or belt conveyors (M8/4PIN connection for IRG1-S and IRG1-MS)
■ 1 x output for a blow air valve, can be disconnected
■ 1 x multi-function output (displays errors when sensor activity is exceeded)
All signals are invertible, and the station‘s operating state is displayed with LEDs on the front panel.
