It was His love for you and me.” Jesus chose to die a horrible death for each one of us. He could have called legions of angels to protect him, but Jesus came to earth knowing that He was to pay the penalty for our sins. But the good news is - He didn’t stay in the grave! By rising from the dead he also conquered death. The Almighty God created in each one of us a God-shaped vacuum that can only be satisfied with a relationship with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. I challenge you during this Lenton season to seek out God, if you move towards God, God will move toward you. There will be special programming during Holy Week so watch the daily activity calendar. Mind, Body and Spirit will view a documentary called Prophesies of the Passion over the next several weeks to better understand what the Old Testament has to say about Jesus. During Holy Week, we will visit the places that pertain to Jesus’ last week on earth via the eyes of David Stotts and Drive Through History Holy Land. Please keep the families of John Brighton, Arthur Horvath, Sharon Mendez, Betsie Coyner and Richard Quirk in your prayers. They are greatly missed here at Our Lady of Hope.
