In autumn and spring, the Stubai Zoo is one of the
TOP snow parks in Europe. Easy, medium and pro

The BIG Family Ski Camp is located at the mountain
station Gamsgarten. Here children can enjoy learning
to master the waves and slaloms under the watchful
eyes of qualified ski instructors. Four magic carpets
ensure that young skiers travel uphill in comfort and
safety. HIGHLIGHT: BIG Family boardercross at the
„Murmelebahn“ chairlift.

Childcare is available for children over the age of
3 at the Gamsgarten mountain station. Here time
flies by with well-supervised indoor and outdoor
playtime, including crafts, painting and other

From October to May a Stubai Glacier ski pass entitles
you to free rides on the ski bus between Schönberg
and the Mutterberg bottom station. Details and

The Mutterberg bottom station offers free parking
for cars and coaches. From there you can take the

Ski passes are not transferable.
Ski passes must be shown or handed over to
cableway staff upon request.
ID requirement: appropriate ID must be shown in
order to obtain a discounted ski pass both at the ticket office and at the entrances to the lifts.
Poor weather, the risk of avalanches, unanticipated
departures, service interruptions, the closing
of ski slopes, etc., do not constitute any grounds
for ticket refunds or extensions.

Lost and found items can be brought to/picked up
from the ticket office at the bottom station.
++ SAFETY NOTICES
Please note that you are entirely responsible for your safety beyond
the designated and open ski runs!
-Some ski runs may have to be closed if there is a risk of
avalanches. In case of an alarm, please follow the precise
instructions of the mountain rescue service or cableway staff.
-Under no circumstances should you enter any exclusion zones.
Do not leave the designated pistes. Please watch out for any
warning signs (risk of avalanches and crevasses) and the
orange warning lights at the panoramic board!
Please protect yourself with a high factor sun cream and wear
sunglasses or a sun visor.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE
In the event that you witness a sports accident, please administer
FIRST AID immediately. Secure the accident site and contact the
Emergency Medical Service.

PISTE MAINTENANCE SERVICE
The piste maintenance service always strives to offer you
superbly groomed slopes. The ski runs are groomed daily.
FRESH SNOWFALL
It is not always possible to groom all of the pistes at the same time
even when all piste maintenance machines are in use. Furthermore, under certain weather and snow conditions fresh snow does
not always bind with the underlying. This can result in piles of
fresh snow being formed due to immediate use. Please understand
that this is not a result of insufficient piste maintenance.
PLEASE TAKE CAREFUL NOTE OF THIS SIGN!
This indicates that the piste is being groomed by cable winch, i.e.
where the cable which secures the maintenance vehicle crosses
the piste. Please watch out for the exclusion zones!
Ski slopes are closed every day from 4.00 / 4.30pm to 8.30 /
9.00am. There is no hazard protection during this time! Please be
aware that piste maintenance activities can cause injury due to
heavy equipment, such as snow cats, snow cannons, lane grooves,
winch cables or exposed cables and hoses of the snow-making
vehicles.
++ ARRIVAL
The Stubai Glacier is very conveniently located.
CAR The Stubaital is about a 20 minute drive from the
Olympic city of Innsbruck along the A 13 Brenner
autobahn (Europa bridge). Take the exit for Schönberg,
the first village in the Stubaital, then continue on to
Fulpmes and Neustift. From Neustift, it takes about 20
minutes to get to the bottom station of the Stubai
Glacier.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT From Innsbruck‘s main railway
station: Take the scheduled bus straight to Neustift/
Mutterberg (Stubaital service).
YOUR SKI PASS entitles you to FREE travel on the ski
bus between Schönberg and Mutterberg (from October
to May).
