Introducing KATA
KATA designs, develops, and manufactures quality, state-of-the-art
protection solutions and carrying systems. KATAs products are designed
around the human frame. Its not enough that the equipment fits the
case, the case must also fit the user! In 1983, two friends, members of an
elite military unit, began exchanging ideas about how backpacks and military
equipment cases could be made more modular and ergonomic.
Based on their own field experience, they went on to design a line of combatready gear. They named their company KATA. In 2005 Kata joined the Vitec
Group and under the Photographic Division the company has been expanding
and flourishing. For many years KATA has been creating high-end products
for professionals around the world. KATA Design HQ and part of the
manufacturing facilities are based in Jerusalem, Israel.
KATA established its reputation by outfitting Protection and Security
Special Forces with auxiliary cases, utility & protective vests and
backpacks. Tough, durable, yet remarkably lightweight, KATA
products are constructed towithstand rough treatment and harsh
conditions over long periods.
KATA has provided an outsourcing service to Hi-tech Industries that manufacture
sensitive equipment for field operation. KATA is involved from the research
to the development and design stage through production. A prominent
example of such an enterprise is the KATA - MANFROTTO collaboration
which is responsible for the entire line of Manfrotto bags worldwide.

Digital Photographer and Videographer. The collection includes carrying
solutions specifically designed for delicate digital equipment incorporating

Internal bindings cover the fabric-ends and outside seams are double folded to
eliminate unraveling. Carrying handles are sewn from the bottom of the bag, for
the greatest possible strength. Our silent YKK zippers are double seamed and usually
sewn on the inside of the fabric to hold them fast.

The CCC Camera Case Family is designed to carry and protect pro camcorders
with battery & lens installed. Engineered to embody perfect balance, the CCCs
are very light weight yet highly protective cases. The streamlined ergonomic
shape keeps the center of gravity close to your body, and eases the burden when
carrying. The Insertrolley can also be added as wheel along transportation.
The double flap top opening ensures quick top handle grip access to the camcorder,
which allows a mini light to stay installed during transport as the flaps will zip
around it. The entire content is protected by water tight zippers. Ultimate
protection for the delicate area of the viewfinder, lens and mic is provided in
the structural shape which expands to cocoon these components and the
aluminium stave which is embedded in the top flap. Included dividers and
support cushions enable customization of the space to meet specific needs.

THE HD-CC-3
The HD-CC-3 or Maxi HD Camera Case features ultra peripheral TST protection
for the delicate and expensive equipment inside with an emphasis on the
viewfinder and microphone area. An extra long external padded zippered pocket
located on the right side of the bag can be divided into 2 or 3 separate
compartments to meet your exact accessory needs, while the adjustable tripod
plate pocket can be situated wherever most convenient. The case includes shock

THE TCCT
The TCCT meets the strict new airline regulations for carry-on bag size*.
And its modularity means that when you land it adapts to hold your fully
assembled camera in everyday use. It holds the camera with the battery removed;
in some cases the viewfinder must be removed and with extremely large cameras
the lens must be removed as well. The disassembled parts go into padded pouches
in the case.
To expand the case to its working position, the TCCT has a compartment that
lengthens the case and a side compartment that makes it wider. The case and
the extended compartments are padded and rigid at the same time, to protect
their delicate contents. The detachable trolley (included) makes it easier to
transport the bag through the airport. In narrow check posts (security areas),
the trolley can be removed in order to fit Airline Regulations Measuring Box.

The Shell-03 has a unique TST Clam Shell design which offers ultra protection.
Using the Modi-Vers divider system, the case can easily be adjusted to fit DV
camcorders such as the Sony V1, FX1, Panasonic DVX100 or Canon XH A1, G1 &
similar (check bag chooser) with related accessories.
An internal padded mesh pocket provides extra storage possibilities without
compromising the protection of the camera. KATAs patented Click handle

KATA's CC Compact Cases feature TST rugged protection to provide the ultimate
safeguard for the delicate equipment within. A spacious main compartment with
modular internal division will accommodate camera and accessory set-up while
the full length external padded pocket will provide additional storage space. If
additional division is necessary, KATAs Modi-Vers Kits can be purchased.
The lid is secured by a wide hook & loop fastener and a side release buckle.

PALMS are a functional breakthrough in design for reinforced cases. Based on
the architectural principle of the arch, PALMS provide your equipment with
complete protection, and three varying sizes allow you to carry a large variety

lights and power supplies in the main compartment, and four stands in the side
