ABOUT THE PCA
ENGLAND MASTERS
The PCA England Masters brings together former international
stars to play against an invitational Hyde Cricket Club XI.
The Masters have been entertaining cricket lovers for more
than a decade, uniting local communities and businesses in a
fun and unique way.
The programme is a key element of the PCA’s commercial activity,
raising crucial funds to support the work of the PCA Benevolent Fund.
The PCA England Masters possess a wealth of experience and the players
relish the opportunity to pass this on during matches, through coaching
sessions and over drinks at the bar once the day’s play has concluded.
Whether the Masters are playing an international team or a local side,
the legacy of the fixture lives on long after stumps are drawn.
Hyde Cricket and Squash Club will be hosting their first ever PCA
England Masters event this August and you can be part of it.

ABOUT HYDE CRICKET &
SQUASH CLUB
Hyde Cricket Club has been playing competitive cricket for over
100 years. We are members of the ECB Premier Division in the
Cheshire County Cricket League, the principal competition in
Cheshire and South Manchester.
Over the years we have celebrated many successes, more
recently winning the Cheshire County League T20 Cup and
the prestigious Cheshire Cup. We reached the finals of the
National T20 Knockout in 2011 which was played at The Essex
County Ground in Chelmsford and broadcast live on Sky Sports. In
2014 we were crowned Cheshire County Premier League Champions,
our first league title for 33 years which we retained in 2015.
At Hyde we pride ourselves on being one team throughout the club. We are
proud of our junior section achievements over many years and our Squash
section continues to go from strength to strength.
Our ambition is to continue to strive for excellence on and off the field
and ‘push new boundaries’ so we remain a club that the members and
community are proud of.
To help us in this quest and sustain the club for future generations, our
club would like to continue to improve our facilities, excite our members
and leave a lasting legacy that we have all contributed to.
Clearly our club needs to be financially sound and the PCA England Masters will
go a long way to helping improve our financial sustainability.

Contingency plans are being put in place for wet weather.
These plans include options for a bowl off in the covered nets, opportunity for guests to face an ex England player in
the nets, a wet weather blast match, and cricket based drills and drinking games in the marquee.
The lunch, Q&A and exclusive raffle will go ahead unaffected.
