DAY 1 SUNDAY, APRIL 10, 2016
ARRIVE LAS VEGAS
(D)
After a brief, early afternoon check-in with you tour director at the Las Vegas International Airport, your western adventure begins! The
“Entertainment Capital of the World” welcomes you today as you drive along the world-famous Las Vegas Strip before arriving at your hotel. This
evening, join your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner. The rest of the night is then free to enjoy the variety of nighttime activities available here.
See how Las Vegas lives up to its name - but don’t stay out too late - an exciting day awaits you tomorrow!
DAY 2 MONDAY, APRIL 11, 2016
GRAND CANYON WEST AND HOOVER DAM
(BL)
This morning, depart Las Vegas for an exciting day as you enjoy a Grand Canyon West Rim tour. After a drive through the Joshua Trees of the
Mojave, arrive Grand Canyon West, home of the Hualapai Nation. Embrace this Native American legacy at Eagle Point. Step inside the Hualapai
Village for dance performances by members of the Hualapai Tribe. Step back in time at Hualapai Ranch, a western-themed town reminiscent of the
Old West. Eagle Point features a chance to walk across the Grand Canyon Skywalk. The Grand Canyon Skywalk is a steel and glass bridge walkway
that stretches 70 feet away from the rim. This amazing feat of engineering technology offers astounding angles of the Grand Canyon unseen from
the rim. Peer over the edge for a better view of the Grand Canyon floor, 4,000 feet beneath your feet! Guano Point is one of the most stunning
viewpoints on your Grand Canyon West Rim tour. Walk to the tip of the point for a near 360-degree panoramic view of the Grand Canyon. Lunch is
included today, you can choose from any of 3 restaurants. As you return to Las Vegas, stop on the Arizona side of the Hoover Dam for sightseeing.
Pause and reflect on the engineering wonder of the Hoover Dam above the Colorado River below. After a full and exciting day, arrive back at your
hotel with free time for dinner and evening on your own.
DAY 3 TUESDAY, APRIL 12, 2016
FREE DAY
(B)
Today is a total free day to experience Las Vegas on your own. Your local guide can help you decide if you want to book an optional tour to
surrounding areas, a helicopter flight over Las Vegas, local tours or activities, the choice is yours.
DAY 4 WEDNESDAY, APRIL 13, 2016
FREMONT STREET
(BD)
For those who want to stay on the go today, we’ll depart for neighboring Primm and the Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas. A must-see attraction in its
own right, Fashion Outlets offers unbelievable savings on designer merchandise at more than 100 designer brands. But, that’s not all...Fashion
Outlets rolls out the red carpet for you! We’ll then come back to town and pick up those who did not want to shop and travel on over to the Bellagio.
Each year, more than 5 million visitors, 15,000 to 18,000 per day, take time out from gambling, clubbing, and shopping to experience the floral
extravaganza of one of five horticultural shows in the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. “The conservatory is so unique that it is a
must-see destination in Las Vegas,” says Andres Garcia, Bellagio’s Director of Horticulture. “It is unique; it is beautiful; it is magical.” This evening,
take a short drive to downtown for an included dinner and the Fremont Street Experience. Legendary casinos, free entertainment, and oldfashioned gambling hospitality - this is the vintage Las Vegas of the Fremont Street Experience. You may even run into one of the casino owners
while you sit at the blackjack table. On any given night you may see famous bands, strolling showgirls, or an amazing saxophone performance. Las
Vegas started 100 years ago in 1905 near the corner of Fremont and Main Streets. Fremont Street was the first paved street. The Fremont Hotel
opened 50 years ago and launched the careers of famous entertainers like Wayne Newton. We will enjoy a nice farewell dinner together to swap
stories of our time in Vegas!
