DNA (as in genetically modified paint) is a full spectrum of custom
finishes and effects limited only by ones imagination. Not only does it
consist of an extensive range of effects and colours, but also includes a
complete stable of products including epoxy’s, primers and clear coats.
A huge advantage over competitor products is that DNA is completely
manufactured in Melbourne and tested to Australasian weather conditions
especially our UV exposure in this part of the world. (Note Australia and
New Zealand are exposed to up to double the harmful UV radiation than the
northern hemisphere per annum)

Valspar Joins I –CAR as an Industry Training Alliance Partner
I-CAR New Zealand, Valspar Corporation and DBNZ Coatings are pleased to announce the
recent alliance between Valspar and I-CAR international has now extended to an alliance
here in New Zealand. The I-CAR Industry alliance exists to recognise the accomplishments of
students training through approved training providers.
As the exclusive importer of the Valspar Automotive product ranges, DBNZ Coatings has been running a annual
calendar of very successful training programs for the past 15 years from a specifically designed training centre
based in Hamilton, New Zealand.
I-CAR, Valspar and DBNZ are very excited to offer the opportunity for attendee’s to not only up skill on the latest
products and processes from the industry, but to also offer the ability for both the shop owner and the tradesman to
be recognised through the I-CAR awarded point system for their commitment back to the industry by being involved
in approved industry training.
The Valspar approved courses run out of DBNZ Coatings in Hamilton will sit hand in hand with the I-CAR industry
specific training already offered to recognise refinish technicians as Platinum. This makes it possible for the shop to
