Earth Force ® DfE recognized
products contain no inorganic
phosphates, hazardous solvents,
or environmentally harmful
surfactants. Instead, they use a proprietary blend of surfactants, solvents, pH adjustors,
and other ingredients, which exhibit more positive environmental and human
health characteristics than conventional cleaning and floor care formulations. The surfactants, which biodegrade readily to non-polluting substances,
help relieve stress on the environment, especially threats to aquatic life. By not including environmentally harmful builders or extreme pH in these
formulations, the environment friendly profile and safety characteristics of
these products is further enhanced.
What does the Earth Force ® “cleaning
with the earth in mind” mark mean?
That Earth Force products are formulated with
the environment and human health strongly in
mind and use the following types of ingredients: biodegradable surfactants, with byproducts that
are less toxic than the parent compound; solvents that are not
hazardous air pollutants and pose no threat to the Earth’s ozone
layer; fragrances that have been screened for potential hazardous
and persistent ingredients; and other components with a more
positive environmental profile than in conventional cleaning and
floor care products.

mark mean?
The Design for the Environment logo
signifies that the formula for this
product, as ABC Compounding has
represented it to the EPA, contains
ingredients with more positive health
and environmental characteristics than conventional cleaners.
It assures that the EPA’s Design for the Environment (DfE) scientific
review team has screened each ingredient for potential human
health and environmental effects, and contains ingredients that
pose the least concern among chemicals in their class . The DfE
mark is an easy way to know you are choosing a product that is as
safe as possible for people and the environment.
