ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT
Exposition, Adoration and Benediction of the Blessed
Sacrament is regularly held in our church every Friday from
7:00 PM until 8:15 PM. Any changes to this Friday schedule
will be noted in the bulletin and announced at mass.
th
Every 4 Friday of the month, all are invited to join the
Eucharistic Apostles of Divine Mercy reciting the Chaplet for
the Sick and Dying during Eucharistic Adoration.
MEMORIAL DAY MASS AT DIOCESAN CEMETERIES
Most. Rev. Paul G. Bootkoski will be the celebrant of the
annual Memorial Day Mass on Monday, May 25, at 10:00 am,
on the grounds of Ressurection Cemetery, Hoes Lane,
Piscataway. At the same time, Rev. Msgr. William Benwell,
V.G. will be the celebrant of the Memorial Day Mass on the
grounds of Holy Cross Cemetery, Cranbury-South River Road,
East Brunswick. This year, we will have a special tribute to our
veterans. We will be celebrating a wreath-laying ceremony
and honor guard, and all veterans that attend will receive a
Memorial Day pin. If you would like to be a part of the Mass,
please contact the Cemetery Office.
All the faithful are invited to participate at either site, and are
encouraged to bring lawn chairs for comfort. In the event of
inclement weather, the Mass will be celebrated inside the
Mausoleum Chapel located at each site.
For further
information, contact the Cemetery Office at 732-463-1424.
THE DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET
The Chaplet of Divine Mercy will be publicly prayed Monday Friday following the 9:30 am mass and every Saturday after
the 8:30 am mass in the Church Cry Room. This will bring
many graces and blessings to our parish family. We all have
many intentions and this is a powerful devotion to draw down
all the graces we need especially at this critical time in our
nation and culture. Come join with us after Mass and
experience for yourself the "font of love, peace and mercy that
Jesus promises to those who honor Him with this devotion!"
For more information, you can contact Sandy Cunningham at
609-664-2360.
REMEMBER THOSE IN THE ARMED FORCES
MEMORIAL DAY
MONDAY, May 25

eternal rest to those who have died in the struggle for peace
and freedom.

be at 9:00 AM. There will be no
other masses that day.
The parish office will be closed on
Memorial Day.

CHOOSE LIFE
“When God created each of us, He did so with precision and
purpose, and He looks on each of us
with love that cannot be outdone in
intensity or tenderness. Moreover, the
Lord invites each of us to behold
ourselves and each other with the
same wonder and awe.”

spin! Gift Card Mania is making its first appearance at this
year’s Carnival and we are asking for your help…It’s easy to

$10….Who knows, with a little luck and a few quarters, maybe
you and your card will be re-united on a warm night during the
Carnival in June!
GET INVOLVED - 2015 CARNIVAL

word, please hand out a copy of the

““Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides
in him and he in God.” – 1 John 4:15
How strong is your faith? When you
have an opportunity to defend your faith
or clarify a question about your faith, do
you do it? Or, do you remain silent so
that others don’t think you are different?
Pray for the courage to be strong in your
faith and share your witness with others.

STEWARDS OF VOCATION
God intends for each one of us to play a unique role in carrying
out his divine plan. Our challenge is to understand our role,
our vocation, and to respond generously to this call. Christ
calls each of us to be stewards of our personal vocation which
we receive from God.
GROWING
IN FAITH TOGETHER
GIFT is family-based, rather than strictly classroom based,
religious education held once a month instead of every week.
The children and their parents attend one three-hour session
each month, based on their choice at registration and
availability of space in each session. The family attends the
same weekday and time each month. Most sessions are
planned to be on or near the third/fourth weekend of each
month. At this time, families with children with special needs
will have their session on Saturdays only.
Each month a new educational topic is discussed. The entire
group meets first in the Cafeteria, where prayer and a light
meal take place. Then Grades K through 8 participate in age
appropriate classroom instruction while the parents/adults have
a speaker in the Cafeteria to inform them of the month’s topic.
All children return to their respective families near the end of
the session to discuss that month’s topic together. Dismissal
with prayer and the monthly handout for families to continue
their education together until next month is last. Adult children
or family members, in addition to those pre-registered, are
welcome each month. Childcare, for children age 2-5 who are
potty trained, is also offered. ALL PARISHIONERS ARE
INVITED TO ATTEND
We will have 6 sessions (3rd / 4th weekend of the month - dates will
vary)
– Saturday 9am to 12pm
– Monday 6pm to 9pm
– Sunday 10:15am to 1:15pm
– Tuesday 5pm to 8pm
Our general in-person registration will take place on Tuesday,
th
May 12 & Wednesday, May 13th from 6pm to 9pm in the
School Cafeteria. Registration is offered on a first come, firstserved basis. Class size will be limited. No mail-in registrations
will be accepted until after May 13th. Please mail or handdeliver your COMPLETED registration form WITH the
registration fee to the GIFT office. All currently registered
families received registration forms in their respective G.I.F.T.
folders during April G.I.F.T. sessions. New registrants may
obtain a registration form with complete instructions from the
table in the lobby or at the GIFT Office (Room 4) in the school.

hearts, families and world. We make and distribute Rosaries to
the Missions and other Catholic Ministries while enjoying the

in September 2011, the Rosary Making Ministry has created and
distributed close to 4,900 rosaries to our parish, local nursing
homes and missions around the world.
Since the first official meeting of the Prayer Shawl Ministry in
June 2010, we have distributed 103 shawls and 18 lap
blankets. Our thanks to everyone who contributed to this
venture so far. To request a prayer shawl, please call Maria
