The Fort is a replica of a stockade that was built during the
Sioux up-rising of 1862. We felt the public would enjoy knowing
about some of our Minnesota history. The fort or stockade is
supported by a unique and updated gift shop. We have several
wild animal mounts to make the place more interesting. The gift
shop has a wide range of gifts from Native American Arts and
Crafts to collectables and clothing.
