We at Passy-Muir believe that communication is the essence
of the human spirit; it is essential to individual rights and
dignity. Tracheostomized children should be provided with
the same opportunities as others to allow them to develop
communication skills. Passy-Muir has created this activity
book to provide parents and therapists with a fun way to help
children voice and exhale orally when using a Passy-Muir ®
Valve. Many of the therapeutic activities referred to in this
book may be performed under supervision with toys that are
readily available at most stores. It is our sincerest hope that
