History
1959Warimpex Export-, Import- Transithandelswaren­gesellschaft m.b.H. founded

Strategy
Warimpex is a “hybrid” real estate company that develops and operates properties itself as an asset
manager and property owner until the time at which the highest added value can be realized through sale.
The majority of these projects is located in Central and Eastern Europe. This enables the Warimpex Group
to generate stable cash flows from the operation and rental of properties and to continuously increase
the value of its portfolio, while also realizing proceeds from the sale of properties. Warimpex believes in
quality and sustainability as the basis for strong future growth.

angelo
angelo is a hybrid brand, comprising both 3-star and 4-star hotels:
• Location: Ideal locations are in the vicinity of railway stations and airports. Smaller cities
are also ideal locations, as occupancy rates do not yet justify the investment volume of
a high-value hotel product.
• Architecture: The hotels are new buildings with sophisticated contemporary architecture,
marked by individuality, functionality and the use of natural, long-lasting materials.
• Positioning: angelo is a business hotel brand with considerable locational flexibility due
to particularly high investment efficiency.
• General conditions: The characteristics of the andel’s brand also apply to angelo.
As a rule, the buildings are smaller and geared toward lower budgets, however, without any
concessions on the quality.
• Interior design: angelo hotels have a high recognition value. As design elements, the
three dominant colours, red, yellow and black, for instance, underscore the warmth and
cosiness of the interior. Furthermore, individual furnishing modules have been impressively
implemented, for example, the fireplace in the lobby.
