ENTRY MORTISE
Designs inspired by traditional French country
architecture are the hallmark of the Bouvet® LaForge
Collection. Established in 1884, Bouvet combines
traditional hand-forging methods with state-of-the-art
manufacturing processes. To take just one example,
their Cementex Treatment integrates zinc particles
onto steel hardware at high temperatures to inhibit
rust and discoloration. This combination of innovation
and craftsmanship results in amazingly beautiful,
remarkably durable wrought-iron handle sets.

ENTRY MORTISE
The stately and intricate handle sets of the Nobilus
collection reflect both modern precision and oldworld handcrafting. Each piece is investment-cast in
solid bronze, a forging method that produced the
most precise and intricate results possible in bronze
hardware. Handle sets are then given a burnished
natural finish or hand-rubbed oil patina finish. As a
result, they become even richer and more beautiful
with every use.

HANDING GUIDE | ENTRY DOORS AND FRENCH DOORS
Marvin Architectural Hardware handing is always determined from the outside facing of the door.
The side on which the hinges are installed defines the handing of the hardware.
Conversely, to determine the handing of Marvin Swinging French or Entry Doors, straddle
the sill with your back to the hinge of the active panel. From this position, whichever hand you use
to grab the door panel determines the handing of the active or primary panel. If applicable, the
handing of the inactive or secondary panel is the opposite.
Please refer to the Handing Guide above when ordering Marvin Architectural Hardware
products. Note the differences between Door Handing and Hardware handing, and between
inswing and outswing doors.

Marvin Architectural Hardware products are warranted to be free from defects in manufacturing, materials and workmanship
causing mechanical failure of the hardware functionality for a period of ten (10) years from the date the product was originally
purchased. Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) finishes are warranted against tarnishing, pitting, corrosion or discoloration for
a period of ten (10) years. Non-PVD finishes are not covered under the ten (10) year warranty.
