GRAND HOGMANAY BALL
Come and enjoy refreshing Champagne cocktails and delicious canapés before taking your seat in our stunning
Grand Ballroom for the traditional “Address to the Haggis”, and indulge upon a
lavish four-course banquet, followed by tea, coffee and petit fours.
Celebrate Hogmanay in true Scottish style with our fantastic Ceilidh band and bring in the bells to the sounds of the Neilston
and District Pipe Band. Heart Radio’s very own Paul Harper will be there to send you dancing into the wee small hours.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
GENERAL
These terms and conditions are accepted when a booking has been
made. When your provisional reservation has been made a £20.00 per
person deposit is required at time of booking to confirm the
reservation for all events. Please note that deposits are neither
refundable nor transferable. Should numbers reduce between the times
of booking and making final payments, deposits already paid cannot
be used against the final balance, these deposits will be lost. The final
balance should be paid no later than Friday 4th November 2016 for
all events. Any bookings made after this date requires payment in full.
When the final balance has been paid, all monies are neither refundable
nor transferable and numbers are taken as final.
SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Organisers are requested to ensure that all special dietary requirements
(e.g. vegetarian, ethnic, etc) are notified in advance.
PAYMENTS
Cheques should be made payable to Hilton Glasgow. All payments and
amendments for functions and restaurant bookings should be made
via the Festive Office. Please send any cheques or correspondence to:

Hilton Glasgow reserves the right to release bookings without notice,
which do not comply with the conditions. Hilton Glasgow reserves the
right to cancel an event. In this eventuality a full refund will be given or an
alternative date will be offered.
Any food or beverage which is brought into the function room will be
confiscated and you may be asked to leave the function. Due to the
numbers attending these events we strongly recommend that an initial
amount of beverage be ordered. This will be placed on the table prior
to your arrival to ensure a quick service. Details of methods of payment
can be found on the beverage pre-order form.
TABLE SET-UP FOR FUNCTIONS
Table set-up for events is at the hotel’s discretion. For all events in the
Ballroom, they will be set with round tables only, seating 10-12 guests.
Should you have a specific request with regards to the table plans,
please inform the Festive Office and we will do our utmost to accommodate your request, however we cannot guarantee that every request
will be met. Please Note: Depending on size, groups may be seated on
more than one table or may otherwise be asked to share tables.
INDEMNITY
The Hotel will not be liable for failure to provide the services contracted
in the event of:
(i) Industrial action by the hotel’s employees or the
employees of a major supplier;
(ii) Fire, lightening, aircraft impact, explosion, riot, civil commotion,
malicious damage, storm, burst pipes, earthquakes and impact;
(iii) Postal or fax bookings not received;
(iv) Breakdown of plant or failure of supply to hotel gas, electricity,
water services, etc;
(v) Any further circumstances beyond the hotel’s control.
LATE ARRIVING GUESTS
Please note that food service cannot be held for latecomers at Christmas Party Events or the Hogmanay Ball. Events are sold as a package
including a meal and entertainment. No discounts are offered to those
wishing to attend after the meal. Should paying guests be arriving after
the meal the Festive Office must be notified in advance. Failure to do so
will result in entry being refused or guests being removed.
FUNCTION SPACES
Please note that Function Spaces may be subject to change depending
on confirmed booking numbers at each event.
For those with special dietary requirements or allergies who may wish to
know about the ingredients used, please ask for the
Banqueting or Food & Beverage Manager.
BEVERAGE FOR FUNCTIONS
No food or beverages may be brought into the premises for
consumption on the premises. For functions, a beverage pre-order
form will be sent accordingly.
ACCOUNT FACILITIES
Any party wishing to have credit account facilities must make a credit
account application in writing to the Festive Office at least two months
prior to it being required. Company accounts for reservations will be
pre-invoiced and must be paid for according to the conditions.
PREMIER GOLD AND HILTON SHAREHOLDERS
We are unable to offer a discount to the published rates for any of our
festive events.
DRESS CODE
The dress code for the Christmas Party Nights and Private Party Nights
is smart casual. No jeans or training shoes will be allowed. The dress
code for our Hogmanay Ball in the Ballroom is Black Tie. Management
reserve the right to refuse admission.
CAR PARKING
Car parking charges are displayed and charged accordingly. Spaces are
limited and are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
VAT
All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable at the current rate at
the time of booking and may be subject to alteration in the case of a
change in rates. All information is correct at time of going to press.
BEDROOMS
Please note: All rates and guestrooms are subject to availability. These
rates are non-transferable and non-refundable.
CANCELLATION
Hilton Glasgow reserves the right to cancel an event. In this event,
alternative dates will be offered or full refund will be given.
