Rich served as the 2012-2013 PennDel AHMA President. In the AIMCO release about this this award, Tina Ratliff (Community Manager II, Washington Square West) was quoted as saying: "Richard has been a great asset to our team and deserves to be recognized for many reasons. For example, he sets stretch goals with his team. He spends time developing his team. He engages in highly collaborative behavior. He encourages those about him to be more innovative. Other things we can identify about Richard are somewhat less recognized and much more well deserved. This inspirational leader August 13 is more adept at making emotional connections with his team, for instance. He is better at establishing a clear vision. He is very effective in his communication and willing to spend more time communicating. He is an ardent champion of change. We, as a team, know Richard as a very effective role model within the Aimco." Any of us who have served with Rich on the Penn Del AHMA board can attest to the fact that Rich demonstrates and exercises all of those characteristics and attributes on behalf of Penn Del AHMA. Congratulations, Rich, for the well-deserved recognition! Keep in touch with PennDel AHMA!
