Homes of Hope
Last year, our Homes of Hope initiative touched the lives of close to 400
people on Halloween night by providing a fun and safe place for families
as they spent time trick-or-treating. This year, we want to invite YOU
to be either a host home or volunteer at a host home and love on our

United Youth Ministries
Presents The Saga: Infinite. A dramatic production held on October 26th, 29th, &
30th, 7pm @ The RIOT. Admission is FREE.
It is a gripping story told through several forms of dramatic arts; such as human
video, drama, and media. When Aria’s brother, Daniel, attempts to take his own life,
Aria finds herself having a strange conversation with a man who claims to be God
about Heaven and Hell. As Daniel takes a turn for the worse and Aria is led through
her own questions and doubts about faith, the stakes raise to a level that will leave
the two siblings changed forever.

Benefit Spaghetti Dinner
A benefit dinner for Brenda Lantini will be held at the Brookfield Fire Hall, 774 St.
Rt. 7, Brookfield, OH, on Sunday, November 6th, Noon-5pm. Dinners are $8, age 10
and under donation, eat-in or take-out. Brenda has been a long time member of
VCC and currently attends the New Castle Campus. She was diagnosed with a rare
form of cancer in 2004 and recently it has metastasized to her lymph nodes and
lungs. Come and support our sister.

Chuck Swindoll will be used as reference guides. Handouts will be provided.
Partnering with the Holy Spirit
(Classroom #6) with Candace Fanzo
We will look at the Doctrine of the Holy Spirit from the OT and NT with a special
focus on how Jesus unfolds the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Believer.
If you are seeking to be closer to God, are striving to live a victorious Christian life
and long to be a powerful witness for the Lord Jesus Christ, come to class as we
learn and share how to partner with the Holy Spirit.

We are excited to be a blessing to a minimum
of 100 families. This year, we are asking you to
sponsor a family with a Thanksgiving basket.
This will include food items for breakfast and
a complete Thanksgiving meal with a turkey
and dessert. To provide this for a family is
only $40. You can simply pay by including
it in your giving envelope. Please be sure to
write ‘Thanksgiving Drive’ so the money goes
toward that event. You are also able to pay

rehearsals (placement of people on

Operation Impact Eastwood Mall Gift
Wrapping
Plug in and let your light shine! Looking
for volunteers to gift wrap at the
Eastwood Mall and to offer a word of
prayer if needed. Times will vary and we
will work in shifts. Come to be a witness
and give back to our community.

Extra Blessing Ministry
We are receiving gently used furniture
for our Extra Blessing Ministry. If
anyone has a truck and would be
willing to donate 1 hour per week
to help pick up and drop off large
donated items, please let us know.

Lost & Found Box
If you have lost or misplaced a bible,
pair of gloves, jacket, etc., please check
our Lost & Found box located in the
hallway near the men’s restroom.
Sermon CD available
You may order a copy of any sermon by
placing cash or a check into an offering
envelope and indicate which CD you’d
like to order. CDs are $3 each and will
be made after payment is received. You
may place the envelope in an offering
basket or in the office door slot. Also,
please be sure to check the Lobby table
the following week to pick up your
completed CD request.

We have a lot to pray about, but we
want to make sure that these areas are
covered throughout the week. We want
to grow this area of the local ministry!
Victory Kidz security & notification
For all Kidz (Nursery - Victory Kidz) the
parent/guardian will receive a Parental
Pager to keep with them during service.
If your child needs your assistance,
your pager will light up and vibrate.
As another way to ensure safety of
your child, you must present the pager
before receiving your child.
