>12/154 GENERAL NOTICE MARITIME BOUNDARIES NORTH SEA MODIFIED
Due to publication of a new edition of the international charts INT 1474 (Belg. chart
101) and INT 1480 (Belg. chart 102), new maritime boundaries are in force.
As a result of a changed Low Water Line, the UNCLOS Baseline has changed,
consequently also the boundaries of the Maritimes Zones (Territorial Sea, economic
zones, ...) have changed.
Geographic files of the new maritime boundaries and detailed information will soon
be available on our website www.vlaamsehydrografie.be under the heading
Hydrostore - Notices to Mariners - List.
The new maritime boundaries will be also soon published in the ENC’s.

These light buoys are yellow pillar with light character Fl.Y.5s, radar reflector and a
yellow lying cross as topmark.

A mooring prohibition is in force at the jetty SPCN until and including 31 August
2015, longer or shorter in duration depending of the progress of the works.

authorization of GHA, concessionaire Ineos Phenol and vessels of the contractor.

A selective mooring prohibition is in force in the Asiadok at quay 31C between
mooring post 66 ¾ and 71.
Only vessels with a written authorization of the Shipping Management department,
lock and dock management, are here allowed to moor.
Applications to be able to use this berth should be addressed to
[email protected].
Mooring prohibition signalization will be established to indicate the zone of the
mooring prohibition.
