The Czech Republic has a long industrial tradition and was known as one of the
main arms exporters. The Czech weapons are maintaining until now a reputation of
quality which draws its origin from the Skoda tanks and guns from the 20-30’s and
from the light machine-guns ZB-30. The latter was the basis of the famous British
light machine-gun BREN (acronym for Brno manufacture and the Enfield Royal
Small Arms Factory) in service in the British armed forces during World War II.

Bruno BUCHERIE

Before founding company “Opinicus international s.r.o.”, Bruno
Bucherie ended his 30-year military career in Prague as a colonel
and Defense attaché in Czech Republic.
In this position at the border of the diplomatic, defense and industry
domains, he strove to maintain a high level of quality in the FrenchCzech relationship. In this regard, he participated in many conferences, workshops and seminars where he shared his vast experience.
Bruno Bucherie served primarily within the French Marines. He then
chose to orientate his career towards the Defense and Security international Relations where he occupied different positions of responsibility
during the last 14 years of his military activity.
Bruno Bucherie achieved French Higher Defense Studies and is graduated from the French National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO). He attended the Italian Joint Services Staff College
(“Istituto di Stato Maggiore Interforze” or ISSMI) and holds a Master Degree in “International strategic and military studies” from the University
of Milan and the “Free International University of Social Sciences «Guido
Carli»” of Rome.
Bruno Bucherie speaks French, English, Italian and Czech.
