Oh my! What a busy year it has been so far! I want to thank
everyone who took the time to sign up and join us on our
adventures thus far this year. We have seen some interesting
areas, enjoyed some great shows, and learned a lot from our
master gardener & county fair expert. Our next couple of events
are full, so it should be a great time on our Mystery and Galena
trips. It is so much fun when we have a full bus! Pam and I only
have to count the EMPTY seats to know we have everyone
aboard! If you haven’t joined us yet, don’t miss out any more!
Take a look at what we have planned, give us a call and sign up
to join the fun!
Remember, unless specifically mentioned, the day trips
include all expenses: travel, meal, tickets or admissions to
events, and all tips or gratuities.
In this newsletter, I’m announcing our last 2 events for 2016,
and save the date info on a couple events in 2017. I’m not taking
sign-up until I get the details worked out, but I wanted you all
to get the dates on your calendar!
With all the trips, be sure to note the deadlines. Our final
numbers and payment s are due to the venues on these dates,
so do not delay signing up if you are interested!
Our 5* rewards card program is being well received. You
receive your card when you join us at an event, and each time
you are with us, you get a star punched. Once all stars are
punched, turn it in for $5 off the next
event, and be in on a drawing for a special
prize at the potluck picnic or Holiday
party! Keep your card in your wallet so
you won’t forget it!

Trip Cancellation Policy
If you are signed up for a tour and it is necessary for you to cancel, we will make
every effort to provide either a partial or full refund. However, we cannot guarantee
a full refund. There are many variables such as ticket purchases, meal number
guarantees, etc.
If you must cancel, we recommend that you try to find someone else to take your
place on the scheduled trip to guarantee a full refund.
If a tour is cancelled due to insufficient reservation numbers, you will receive a full
refund. Whenever we use an outside agent to book trips, we must adhere to the written
cancellation policy of that agent.
This is why waiting lists are important. Even when you know a trip is filled, have
your name added to the list. In case of a cancellation, we will call in the order
of sign up.
Due to the distance between the Fidelity Banks in eastern Iowa, it is necessary for
some people to travel to a central location to meet the coach. This inconvenience is
unavoidable at times, and we appreciate your cooperation.

Day 1 - We depart from Cedar Rapids Airport to join
an overnight flight to the Emerald Isle, where you’ll feel
the warmth of an Irish welcome.
Day 2 - Your tour opens in Dublin. Tonight be ready
for some traditional entertainment during a fun-filled
Irish evening with regional cuisine. D
The Many Shades of
Day 3 - Today you have choices…join a local guide
on a driving tour to see many of the iconic sites of the
city, OR you may choose a walking tour of the city’s
historic center. Then set out yourself to independently
explore more of charming Dublin. B
Day 4 - First we travel to Kilkenny to check out the
medieval atmosphere of this city on the River Nore.
Then arrive in Waterford, where you will enjoy a factory
tour of Waterford Crystal – then browse their retail
store. Finish the day with a walking tour of this
unique city before enjoying dinner. BD
Day 5 - Journey to Blarney Castle – kiss the Blarney
Stone! Ride an Irish Jaunting car to Muckross House
& Gardens– a Victorian wonder; Or, take a Jaunting
car through scenic National Park to Ross Castle where
you’ll board a boat for a scenic ride through the lakes.
Diner’s choice tonight: pick your dinner from a “menu”
of great restaurants. BD
Day 6 - Today you will travel along one of the most
beautiful coasts in the world, Ring of Kerry – passing
through villages, mountain passes, stopping at many
vantage points for pictures and artisan shopping.
Experience “Ladies View” where you will gaze upon the
Lakes of Killarney. Leisure time tonight – perhaps a
pub for dinner? B
Day 7 - Today experience the daily life of a traditional
Irish family during a farm visit. Continue on to Limrick
which showcases King John’s Castle and the Treaty
Stone. Delve into the fascinating history. B
Day 8 - An exciting day awaits. Journey to the
stunning 700 foot high Cliffs of Moher, the Limestone
landscape of the Burren, known for it’s stark beauty
and Neolithic tombs. Then on to Galway and the “City
of Tribes”. After this full day enjoy dinner together. BD
Day 9 - Today we start across country to Tullamore
and Kilbeggan, whiskey territory. Enjoy tastings as
you visit one of the distilleries. Top the trip off with an
overnight stay on the regal grounds of Cabra Castle,
where you will toast to the end of a fabulous trip during
a farewell dinner. BD
Day 10 - Your tour ends in Kingscourt.
