VESELJA IN SKRBI...
Zopet smo se pripeljali s časovnim vozom
do nove postaje. Celo dekadna številka jo
zaključuje. Pa vendarle, kljub okrogli
številki novega leta, nas ob letni inventuri
obletavajo podobne misli, kot ob drugih
letnih jubilejih. Nekaj je lepih in veselih,
nekaj je žalostnih in zaskrbljujočih. Saj,
takšno je pač življenje kjerkoli na
zemeljski obli.
Letošnja inventura bo pokazala v našem
klubu še eno leto uspešnega dela. Delali
smo
dobro, naša tekmovanja so po
aktivnosti in rezultatih zopet rekordna,
gremo na WRTC v Moskvo julija meseca,
izvedli smo nekaj seminarjev, se dobro
"naklofali" v tekmovanjih
in člani
ostajajo
zvesti
klubu
in
njegovim
aktivnostim.
in z višjimi cilji moramo gledati dalje. In
pretekle in prihajajoče rezultate.
Da pa ni vedno vse lepo, smo pa tudi že
poučeni. In ob dobrih namenih in željah
zaustavili. Ne glede, da smo v našem
klubu
tekmovalni
zanesenjaki,
se
moramo ozreti tudi okrog sebe in
sodelovati pri odpravljanju težav, ki
grozijo
našemu
hobiju;
naši,
radioamaterski
dejavnosti.
Kot
radioamaterjem, katerim je prvina ena od
osnovnih
radioamaterskih
dejavnosti
rekli, "pusti jih naj delajo kar hočejo,
in naših". Torej že prva novoletna želja
je, da bi se vsi, ki nas radioamaterska
dejavnost privlači in ji pripadamo,
angažirali za dobre rešitve bodoče
organiziranosti
in
delovanja
radioamaterstva v Sloveniji.
In ta moto
naj ostane prvi tudi vnaprej.
Na občnem zboru kluba smo pogledali
prehojeno pot in uprli pogled vnaprej.
Načrti so smeli in ne le, da jih kanimo
uresničiti, želimo narediti še kaj več. Zato
potem bodo skrbi toliko manjše in
rezultati toliko boljši. Naj se vsem
uresniči vse dobro in pravo in naj še
sonce doda kaj svoje aktivnosti v
prihajajočem letu.
Vsem vse dobro! GL!

Občnega zbora se je udeležilo 24 članov
(seznam prisotnih je na koncu zapisnika).
Pričetek zbora je bil napovedan za 17.
uro,
vendar
smo
zaradi
števila
udeležencev in v skladu s statutom
počakali najprej 30 in nato še enkrat 30
minut.
Zbor je odprl Tine, S50A s pozdravom
prisotnih,
predlogom
delovnega
predsedstva – S50R, S57U in S57XX,
zapisnikar S51F in overitelja zapisnika
S59AA ter S57AW. Predlogi so bili
soglasno
sprejeti,
zato
je
delovni
predsednik S50R prešel na delo zbora po
dnevnem redu.
Ad 3)
S50A je v poročilu označil preteklo leto
kot uspešno, tako z dosežki na
tekmovalnem področju, kot tudi v
sodelovanju članov kluba na mednarodnih
prireditvah (Friedrichshafen, Milano). Še
posebej to velja za tekmovanji, kateri
prirejamo in kjer se udeležba nenehno
povečuje.
Apeliral
je
na
večjo
angažiranost
članov
pri
pripravi
materialov za Novice.
S50AB je v finančnem poročilu podrobno
navedel
finančne
prilive
(članarina,
donacije, sponzorji plaket) ter porabo
(organizacija in priznanja v EUHFC ter
SCC
RTTY).
Poslovanje
izkazuje
uravnoteženost prilivov in porabe, saj
izkazujemo pozitivno stanje na računu.
S57AW je predstavil nekaj statističnih
podatkov o udeležbi in uvrstitvah v
letošnjem EUHFC, za katerega so že
dokončno obdelani rezultati. Uradni
rezultati bodo objavljeni v decembrski
številki Novic in na spletni strani SCC. Za
letošnje SCC RTTY tekmovanje še ni
mogel podati poročila, ker obdelava
dnevnikov še ni zaključena, obljubil pa je
le-to v bližnji prihodnosti.
S57W je v poročilu NO pohvalil delovanje
organov kluba in uspešno realizacijo
zastavljenih načrtov.
Vsa navedena poročila (razen rezultatov
EUHFC in SCC RTTY) so v izvirni obliki
priloga tega zapisnika.
Ad 4)
V razpravi o poročilih so sledile
ugotovitve posameznih članov, ki poročil
niso v ničemer spreminjale, zato so bila
vsa poročila z glasovanjem soglasno
potrjena in sprejeta.
Ad 5)
Soglasno je bila sprejeta in potrjena
razrešnica dosedanjih organov kluba.
S50A je podal predlog sestave organov
kluba za naslednje obdobje (2009-2013):

SCC Novice
V predlogu načrta dela za 2010 je S50A
navedel poglavitne usmeritve delovanja
kluba:
- organizacija EUHFC in SCC RTTY;
- sodelovanje v svetovnih
tekmovanjih tudi z namenom
doseganja čim boljšega
klubskega rezultata;
- priprava in izdajanje SCC Novic ;
- izvedba seminarjev, predavanj…
- izvedba klubskega srečanja.
Prihodke naj bi sestavljala članarina
(predvidoma 1100 EUR) in sponzorji
plaket (450 EUR), upamo tudi na
pridobitev še kakšne donacije.
Istočasno je
predlagal
tudi
višino
članarine za 2010 (ostaja nespremenjena
13 EUR).
Razprava:
S52EZ je opozoril na aktivnosti v zvezi s
sprejemom Zakona o radioamaterski
dejavnosti in poziva k čim večji
angažiranosti
(v
smeri
zaustavitve
neustreznega predloga).
S50XX je dal pobudo za organizacijo
»field day« v okviru S5. V razpravi je bilo
sklenjeno, naj o pobudi razpravlja UO in
se do tega opredeli. Na kratko in brez
podrobnosti je opisal tudi svojo udeležbo
v letošnjem CQ WW – bil je namreč
delegiran kot sodnik- nadzornik pri
CT1BOH na postaji CR3E. Podrobnosti so
seveda prihranjene CQ WW Contest
komiteju.
S51F je predlagal, da v letnem načrtu
predvidimo tudi aktivnosti v zvezi z WRTC
2010. Dva naša člana bosta sodelovala
kot tekmovalca in eden kot sodnik. Meni,
razpravi
je
sledilo
posamično
glasovanje o:
•
članarini
•
sprejetju načrta dela in
finančnega načrta
december 2009 – L13 Š3
•
•
•
sklepu, da UO razpravlja o
field day
aktivnosti v zvezi z
WRTC 2010
promocija EUHFC in
SCC RTTY
Vsi sklepi so bili soglasno sprejeti.
Ad 6)
S50A nas je spomnil, da bo tudi v
prihodnjem
letu
potekala
Contest
University v Montichiariju pri Milanu in da
smo že dobili vabilo za pripravo dveh
predstavitev članov našega kluba ter da
je vabljenih čim več naših članov k
udeležbi na vsako leto bolj zanimivem
srečanju.
S53A je lepo predstavil svojo (že drugo)
pot v Zambijo in delo v CQ WW CW 2009
kot 9J3A. Predstavitev je bila deležna
velikega zanimanja, veliko je bilo mnogo
vprašanj in na koncu zahvala Nikotu za
lepo doživetje.

POROČILO O DELU SLOVENIA CONTEST CLUBA
V LETU 2009
Tudi leto 2009 lahko označimo kot še eno
uspešno leto v zgodovini našega kluba.
Upravni odbor se je letos sestal uradno
petkrat in z drugimi oblikami srečanj in
sestankov so bile v veliki večini
realizirane aktivnosti, ki smo jih zastavili
z načrtom dela.
Klubsko članarino je letos doslej plačalo
osemdeset članov, nekateri člani bodo še
enkrat opomnjeni za njeno poravnavo.
Letos smo prvič opozorili na plačilo v
sredini leta in dali številko računa, kamor
so lahko člani sami nakazali članarino.
Plačilne naloge pa smo poslali tistim, ki
le-te prej še niso plačali. Tudi letos se je
v klub včlanilo nekaj novih članov. Novi
člani pomenijo pozitiven trend in še
naprej se bo potrebno truditi za
vključevanje tistih, ki so aktivni na KV.
Predlagam, da apeliramo na člane kluba,
da vsi aktivno delamo na promociji kluba
in seznanjamo radioamaterje o delu
našega kluba, naših aktivnostih
in
CQWW CW 160m. Ne glede na to, da
uradnih rezultatov še ni in ne moremo
diplome od organizatorja in pričakujemo
še enkrat dober klubski rezultat.
V začetku marca meseca je ekipa SCC
sodelovala na DX srečanju v Brescii pri
Milanu
na
takoimenovani
Contest
University.
Naslednji je bil sejem v Friedrichshafnu,
kjer smo tudi sodelovali ter ponovno
opravili vrsto razgovorov in srečanj s
predstavniki tekmovalnih in DX klubov iz
drugih evropskih držav.
V pomladnem času smo organizirali dva
seminarja v klubu in sicer na temo N1MM
tekmovalnega programa in delo na RTTY.
Polde S57U je v v pripravo in prevod
originalnih
pravil
za
prvega
vložil
ogromno truda in časa. Še posebej mu
gre zahvala, ker je pravice od prevoda
dal našemu klubu. S tem je dokazal, da
še obstaja med nami kolegijalni in
tovariški duh ter prostovoljnost, ki naj
vleče kot zgled tudi druge. Seveda je
potrebno pohvaliti tudi Tadeja S52X in
Kristjana S50XX, ki sta pripravila drugi
seminar na temo RTTY dela.
EUHFC je že ustaljeno tradicionalno
prvenstvo in kar pozabljamo nanj ko
govorimo o delu, ki ga člani kluba
namenjajo klubskim aktivnostim. Letos je
bila udeležba zopet rekordna. Delo na
pregledu dnevnikov je bilo opravljeno v
izredno kratkem času in danes lahko
objavimo
uradne
rezultate
tega
tekmovanja za leto 2009. Posebej naj
zopet omenim S57AD Mirkota, ki s
svojimi računalniki melje podatke in
Robija S57AW ter Kristjana S50XX, ki sta
izvedla organizacijska dela ob sprejemu
dnevnikov in pripravi za obdelavo po
nenadni
odpovedi
prejšnjega
vodje
tekmovanja Janeza S57J. Še pred
izvedbo letošnjega tekmovanja smo
spomladi končali dela lanskega prvenstva
– distribucija rezultatov, diplom in plaket.
Tudi SCC RTTY tekmovanje se vzpenja s
številom sodelujočih in številom poslanih
dnevnikov. Letošnje tekmovanje je še v
obdelavi in bo predvidoma dokončno
obdelano in rezultati urejeni še pred
koncem leta. Tudi tukaj s svojimi orodji
Mirko opravlja strojno obdelavo. Že lani
6
SCC Novice
napovedana želja po posodobitvi strojne
obdelave preverjanja dnevnikov iz naših
tekmovanj počasi napreduje in upamo, da
bo programski produkt, ki bo v še večji
meri pomagal obdelati dnevnike in
zmanjšal potrebno ročno obdelavo, kmalu
nared.
Ob spominu na rezultate v letu 2009 je
potrebno pohvaliti in čestitati vsem, ki so
posegli v letu 2008 in 2009 po visokih
plasmajih. Žal so navadno rezultati zelo
prvo mesto v svetu v M/S kategoriji v
CQWW SSB. Posebej je še za omeniti lepe
dosežke S50K, S57AL, S53O, S52AW in
drugih ter napore ekipe S52ZW, ki
poskuša z aktivnostmi v kategorijah multi
operator. Ne smemo tudi mimo izrednih
rezultatov, ki jih dosega Niko S53A, ki z
minimalnimi tehničnimi možnostmi v
CQWW CW v kategoriji en operator/mala
moč iz osrčja afriškega pragozda v
Zambiji posega po najvišjih mestih v
svetu.
V letošnjem letu nismo imeli večjih in
odmevnejših drugih akcij, toda ne glede
na vsesplošne probleme zmanjševanja
članstev v organizacijah prostovoljnega in
ljubiteljskega delovanja smo v našem
klubu lahko zadovoljni, saj ostaja število
članov na stabilni ravni in pripadnost
novih članov se povečuje. Res je tudi, da
bodo potrebni v bodoče še večji napori pri
dokazovanju
naših
možnosti
in
sposobnosti, zato pozivamo ter želimo
večjo udeležbo doslej manj aktivnega
dela članstva pri delu. Naj bodo rezultati
vzpodbuda, da bomo tudi prihodnja leta
praznovali s še večjim zanosom.
Poziv ob tem velja v največji meri
pripravi naših Novic. Gre za to, da tisti, ki
urejajo in pripravljajo ter izdajajo Novice
to
počenjajo
iz
veselja,
brez
kakršnegakoli nadomestila in s ciljem
pomagati ter združevati tiste, ki jih
zanima
tekmovalna
aktivnost
v
radioamaterstvu. Naše Novice naj bodo
tisto, za kar jih imamo – glasilo članov
SCC. Novice naj bi izhajale po potrebi,
vendar smo člani dostikrat nestrpni in se
sprašujemo, kje pa so Novice. Letos smo
sicer izdali le dve kvalitetni številki in v
december 2009 – L13 Š3
pripravi je še ena. Povejte nam kaj iz
svojega dela in življenja, pošljite slikovni
material, vprašajte kakšno vprašanje, ki
je zanimivo za večje število članov in
naredili bomo skupne, še boljše Novice.
Letos je bilo končano tudi zbiranje prijav
in določanje ekip za naslednji WRTC, ki
bo v juliju 2010 v bližini Moskve v Rusiji.
katere nosilec je S50A in skupaj s S57AW
kot sotekmovalcem in sodnikom S50R se
bomo
udeležili
tega
tekmovanja.
Rezultati, ki so bili potrebni za uvrstitev
na prvenstvo so morali biti na zavidljivi
ravni v najmanj osmih tekmovanjih
zadnjih treh let in v hudi konkurenci nam
je uspela uvrstitev.
Tudi letos moramo sprejeti oziroma
potrditi sklep o višini članarine. Predlog
leta. S samo članarino smo doslej
pokrivali
vse potrebne stroške za
organizacijo
EUHFC
in
SCC
RTTY
tekmovanje.
Želimo
in
zahtevamo
namreč, da naši tekmovanji obdržita eno
vodilnih
mest
med
tekmovanji
v
evropskem prostoru in je zato potrebno
skrbeti za ustrezno kvaliteto vseh
aktivnosti organizacije.
k postaji CR3E (operator Jose CT1BOH).
Tudi ta aktivnost kaže vlogo in mesto
SCC v svetovni tekmovalni areni.
Finančno stanje je letos konec leta na
podobni ravni kot lani. Letos je bilo precej
sredstev namenjenih za zalogo materiala
za izdelavo plaket za naša bodoča
tekmovanja. Tudi v prihodnje si gre
prizadevati
za
pridobivanje
možnih
sredstev za klubske aktivnosti in za
pomoč
pri
vzdrževanju
klubskega
7
SCC Novice
objekta, ki ga vodi radioklub Triglav.
Nekaj malega smo letos prispevali k
sredstvom za beljenje prostorov kluba.
Že lanske ugotovitve o sodelovanju z
drugimi sorodnimi organizacijami in
radioamaterske
dejavnosti
ostajajo
aktualne.
Trenutno
je
Zveza
radioamaterjev Slovenije pokazala nekaj
interesa
po
sodelovanju
in
ob
sponzoriranju
dveh
plaket
naših
tekmovanj skrbimo v SCC za pomoč pri
vsebinah glasila CQ ZRS. Upravni odbor
ZRS je med drugim v letošnjem letu
pričel
z
aktivnostmi
za
urejanje
radioamaterske dejavnosti s posebnim
zakonom o radioamaterski dejavnosti.
Ob
nesprejemljivem
tekstu
osnutka
in
dogodkih ob uveljavitvi zakona je med
slovenskimi
radioamaterji
veliko
nasprotovanja delu peščice funkcionarjev
ZRS, ki ne glede na večinsko stališče
slovenskih radioamaterjev poskuša na
vse možne načine uveljaviti svojo
december 2009 – L13 Š3
manjšinsko voljo. Škoda za radioamaterje
nastaja zato, ker namesto, da bi vsi
skupaj
poskušali
koristno
izrabiti
obstoječe resurse in zagotoviti normalno
in transparentno delo, se trošijo sile in
sredstva za, za nas nesprejemljive,
rešitve. V Sloveniji imamo na vseh
področjih vrhunske kadre in tudi tehniko
ter veselje do dela, vendar ni opaznih in
promocijskih
aktivnosti
na
širšem,
mednarodnem
področju.
Spremljajoč
dogajanja dobi človek občutek, da se raje
prepiramo med seboj, kot pa da bi
naredili kaj skupno dobrega.
vsakdanjega povprečnega životarjenja in
nekoristnega prepiranja.
Ob pripravi načrta aktivnosti za naslednje
leto smo poskušali zastaviti realne cilje in
ob
podpori
ter
bolj
aktivnemu
sodelovanju članstva upamo, da bomo
lahko tudi na naslednjih zborih govorili o
dobrih rezultatih in uspehih.
Hvala za sodelovanje vsem in se slišimo…

občnega zbora) do danes je dober tj.
stanje na bančnem računu je ugodno in
klub nima neporavnanih obveznosti. Na
drugi strani ima klub še nekaj terjatev
(220 evrov za sponzorstva plaket).
Blagajnik kluba Ivan Košec ustrezno
opravlja delo blagajnika.
Plačilo klubske članarine še nekako
zadostuje za pokrivanje stroškov rednega
dela kluba. Iz finančnega poročila je
razvidno, da so glavni del redne
dejavnosti obremenitve s stroški poštnin,
plaket za tekmovanja in tudi stroški
računovodskega
servisa
ter
bančne
provizije niso zanemarljive. V letošnjem
letu je bil velik strošek za nabavo
materiala »na zalogo« za izdelavo plaket
za EUHFC in SCC RTTY tekmovanja v
prihodnjih
letih.
Potrjujemo
tudi
smiselnost obdržane vrednosti članarine
za naslednje leto t.j. 13 evrov.
Obdelava tekmovanj EUHFC in SCC RTTY
je potekala tudi letos po ustaljenih
tirnicah. Pohvalno je, da je obdelava
EUHFC 2009 končana že do tega občnega
zbora. Ne smemo prezreti tudi dejstva,
da je naše tekmovanje zelo visoko
rangirano na lestvici priljubljenosti in
8
SCC Novice
poštenosti obdelave, zato tudi visoko
kotira na lestvici vrednotenja med
velikimi svetovnimi tekmovanji. Zato
velja pohvala direktorju tekmovanj Robiju
visokih
mestih
v
svetovnih
tekmovanjih tudi iz 2008 in 2009. Skupne
klubske aktivnosti z delom predvsem v
CQWW 160m ter RDXC naj bodo v
ospredju tudi nadalje.
V letu 2009 je ostalo tudi nekaj
nerealiziranih nalog iz programa dela.
Predlagamo, naj novo vodstvo ne pozabi
december 2009 – L13 Š3
naslednje obdobje.
Kako vnaprej? Klub je izpostavljen
podobnim izzivom kot druge ljubiteljske
organizacije,
zato
bo
potrebno
z
aktivnostmi na podlagi analize dela
drugih uspešnih društev pridobiti še več
novih članov in zadržati ter še povečati
vlogo kluba v slovenski in svetovni sredini
radioamaterske dejavnosti. Upajmo, da
bo radioamaterstvo v Sloveniji nudilo
pogoje
in
možnosti
za
doseganje
rezultatov in posledično promocijo naše
države tudi v bodoče, ne glede na
trenutne pritiske na nujnost uveljavljanja
zakonsko
urejene
radioamaterske
dejavnosti, ki po osnutku teksta grozi z
ožanjem možnosti dela radioamaterjev.

EUROPEAN HF Championship 2009
Nemcev.
V SSB/CW HP kategoriji je odnesel prvo
mesto z novim rekordom UW2M z
operatorjem UR0MC. Roman ima zelo
veliko antensko farmo in je uspel
prehiteti postajo UU7J, ki je tudi poznana
po močnih signalih. Tudi tretja je
ukrajinska postaja UW5Q. Od naših
postaj je S50R na šestnajstem mestu. V
tej
kategoriji
je
uvrščenih
49
udeležencev.
SSB/CW LP kategorija je prinesla zmago
HG5A, pred dvema Rusoma RK3DH in
RA3OU. Prvi Slovenec je S52W na
oseminštirideset mestu od 91 uvrščenih.
V SSB HP kategoriji je uvrščenih 58
dnevnikov. Zmagovalec je z novim
rekordom postaja YP9W, ki je »grmel« v
Sloveniji na vseh obsegih. Drugi je
9A800VZ, posebna postaja iz Varaždina
pred tretjim HG8R.
slovensko zmago. Prvo mesto gre
Primožu S58WW, ki je prehitel dva
Litvanca LY5W in LY2OU. V tej kategoriji
je razvrščenih 162 dnevnikov.
Telegrafija je očitno še vedno kraljica v
vrstah dela v EUHFC, saj je največ
udeležencev
prav
v
telegrafskih
kategorijah. V CW HP je prvi z novim
rekordom YT5A, drugi LZ8E in tretji
RZ3AZ iz velike RD3A(F) postaje. 111 je
10
SCC Novice
december 2009 – L13 Š3
bilo dnevnikov, najboljša od slovenskih
postaj pa S53MM na enajstem mestu.
V CW LP je bilo kar 361 uvrščenih.
Zmagovalec te kategorije je UR7GO z
novim rekordom. Ugnal je drugega
Ukrajinca UT1IA in Madžara HG7T. Polde,
S57U
je
najboljši
Slovenec
na
sedemindvajsetem mestu.
Format dvanajstih
ur tudi privlači veliko tekmovalcev,
čeprav je termin vezan na čas dopustov.
Da je tekmovanje priznano ima zasluge
tudi
podrobna
obdelava
dnevnikov,
katero natančno in z veliko vloženega
dela in truda vodi Mirko S57AD. Letos ni
bilo veliko odstopanj od pravilnega dela in
zato je samo ena postaja prestavljena iz
kategorije mala moč v kategorijo velika
moč, diskvalifikacij pa ni bilo potrebnih.

Skoraj vsi dnevniki so bili poslani po
elektronski poti in letos smo dobili samo
še 12 ročno vodenih dnevnikov, katere
smo
vse
tudi
prepisali.
Sprejem
dnevnikov nam je delal še vedno kar
nekaj težav, saj je bilo potrebno vsak
prispeli dnevnik preveriti in odgovoriti
pošiljatelju. Prva naloga nam bo zato
urediti samodejni sprejem elektronsko
poslanih dnevnikov.
Naj na koncu še enkrat opozorimo na
počasno padanje Slovenije na nacionalni
listi rezultatov. V naslednje tekmovanje
Srečno in se slišimo v avgustu 2010!

Again problems with MH MK2R SO2R box.
CW from WinKey sound very bad and lost
some Qs because tried to solve it on fly,
when contest already started. Looks like I
will start to make SO2R box by my own,
to be simple and easy to use. And of
course, it should be PC independent
100%. I really became to be sick of those
USB boxes, virtual ports, many “options”
I never used, and it all works as Windows
itself – works in principle and freeze when
you need it most. Haha..So many
Windows problems, drivers, routers or so,
what is making all contest stations very
unstable and sensitive on many aspects.
So, after 6-7 hours I got simple LPT
interface with two BC107 and finally could
come on CW. t was so easy to make over
500k pts, but EUHFC is my unlucky one?
Every year I have some troubles in the
middle of it, even I tried to be ready and
would like to work it as serious as I can.
See you in WAE CW, if all antenna works
will be finish on time. 73, Ranko

Once again thanks to Toffy, DJ6ZM for
hosting me for this contest.
Everything went very well until I QSYed
to 160m at 22 UTC. High SWR, so I could
only run barefoot. Even working UA3s
was difficult. That cost me a dozen
multipliers and even more QSOs. At
2345z,
the
160m
antenna
died
altogether, SWR sky high. Bummer,
should have checked it before the
contest.
Otherwise, a very enjoyable event. Lots
of excellent operators, some life on
10/15m,
lowbands
not
too
noisy
(considering we had some storms around
Europe), and met a lot of old and new
friends, spanning 71 years between their

Many excellent CW operators "on air"! I
was approaching the contest for the very
first time operating a serious station (
DL0MB ) and enjoyed much to share the
Saturday with you. Thank you for the
exciting time!
The "feeling" of trough my station
performed signal on 40/20 was painly
missed on two upper bands, where the
time spent in usless try to collect
"expected" number of QSOs was simply
stolen away from the fruitable bands.
Solid
disappointment
was
the
performance of our delta loop on 80 too.
Good experiences for the future events...

Unfortunately, we do not have a CAT-toPC-Link at our clubstation. So the QRGdata in the Log are not the exact ones as
you want it. Sorry. But the idea is great,
for restricting of the abuse of the contestfree frequencies (3.560 up etc.) as a way
to win the contest. This was my first time
I took part. It was a GREAT contest, lots
of stations, and excellent conditions. 12
hours without but one boring minute.
Next year we will have the CAT Link...

After many years contesting high power,
the last IARU contest I decided to
participate in low power and I enjoyed it
very well. So this year I decided to
participate in the EU HF contest in low
december 2009 – L13 Š3
power. The conditions of propagation at
28 MHz with a big 'ES' has been excellent
and I have tried to make the most as well
on 21 mhz. The conditions of propagation
at 28 MHz with a big 'ES' has been
excellent and I have tried to make the
most as well as 21 mhz. As I spent much
time in the higher bands has made the
number of 'QSO' at 14mhz is not as high
as I expected because the stations will
have already left the band to go to the
lower bands. In my 7Mhz 'long OCF
dipole' with almost two wavelengths long
for that frequency to be acceptable giving
a good gain and the orientation is optimal
for 'EU'. Thus the number of 'QSOs' was
good even at low power.
Which is actually really be a challenge to
southern Europe from Z14 and at low
power on 3.5mhz and specially on 1.8
mhz. In these bands I never could do
running and all QSO's were S&P. I was
very helpful my RX antenna. I lost many
QSO's, especially in 1.8mhz, where he
heard many stations that I called many
times and never heard me.

I enjoyed a lot this contest: I will try to
beat my last year numbers, and I get it,
but it seem not be enoungh :-)
I have returned this past week from a
travel to USA, and I don't have chance to
check the station status in detail. I payed
for it. The better band for me was 10m,
good sporadic-E opennings but with
marginal propa to other places in central
EU; anyway the band was quite and I can
copy weak signals. On 20m, some near
storm put the noise high. The 80m and
160m dipoles don't work properly and I
can't use the amp on this bands, and I
lose some mults on this bands.

Hello, worst contest ever!!!
I know after more than 40 years
contesting that you have to expect some
misfortune but this contest everything
went wrong! Before the contest my
headset broke down. Just before the
contest my Windows OS crashed and had
to be re-animated. The contest went very
well so I thought I got now my share of
luck until in the evening I switch to 80
and my IC756Pro2 stopped giving any
output! Of course I was very disappointed
but now I had time to clean the mess my
cat had made because he got ill in the
middle of the living room!
Next year I will be back and cannot be as
unlucky as this year! 73 and DX! Anton

The XYL and our granddaughter (KI6KOI)
decided to go shopping so I figured I
would get on the radio for a bit. The 40
meter beam is not functional and no
resonant antenna for that band so I
figure I would just get on 20 and maybe
15/10 if open. As long as I kept making
contacts I stayed on. When the band
died I would take a break and try later.
As it got dark I decided to get some quick
mults on 80M. After I worked the few
station that I could I went back to 20.
Finally I decided to tune the 80M inverted
V for 40 meters and it was good enough
for a few contacts but it was too painful
to use when I'm used to the beam so I
worked what I could and moved on. Back
to 20 meters for some late openings to
Russia and EU before calling it a night
around 11:00PM local. Condition were
terrible but there still seamed to be a lot
of stations; at least on 20 meters. 73,
Jim

A good contest with a lot of stations on
80, 40 and 20 m. Unfortunately the
propagation was not very good on 15 m
and above all on 10 m (just one QSO on
this band Sunday morning)Thanks to all

times. Nothing at all on 10 with just a

Thanks to the Slovenia Contest Club for
sponsoring and doing all the work to put
on the Contest. Appreciate all the QSOs
and learning something about each
operator - the year they were first
licensed.
The bands were as expected although 15
m was better than last year according to
my log and comments on my Cabrillo log
submission. Last year was zero QSOs on
15 m for me. Still the 15 m opening to
Europe was short, majority of other 15 m
contacts were USA/Canada.
Eighty meters was fun for a end of
August contest. Most of the time 80 is
too noisy to make many European
contacts.
This time it was different
although I did not give it much hope.
Had a 4 plus hour down time right at our
Sunset due to storms and a power
december 2009 – L13 Š3
outage. When the power was restored,
~0130Z, the storm had been over for an
hour and half.
Fortunately, it quickly
moved out of the area taking most of the
static crashes with it. So, a bit of prime
40 and 80 meter contest time was
missed, but was nice to be "fresh meat"
when I was able to return to the
Contest:>)
The power outage did knockout one of
the SteppIR ant. power supplies. Had to
swap the good power supply between the
two SteppIRs.
This Contest seemed to be a rate contest
as looking at the band map spots was not
very informative as to whether the
station was a multiplier or not. Was able
to work all the years between 1950 and
2009 on 20 except for 1951, on 40
missed 1950 and 1951 and on 80 missed
1950, 1951, 1952, 1990 and 2005. Did
work a 1928 multiplier on 20 m, a club
station. 73, Mike
K4RO
Pretty decent activity the few hours that I
was able to put in. 73 Kirk
K7IA
My first SCC RTTY, and I enjoyed it.
There was more activity worldwide than I
thought there would be, so this is a
contest offering plenty of action, even
when sunspots are low.
I liked the
exchange: four digits of the year first
licensed. I found myself thinking about
the things I was doing when the folks I
was working got their licenses! Those
amateurs licensed in recent years made
me feel a bit on the "old" side, too!
What are some data without a little
analysis? The following table is based on
my log and shows the number of first
time licensees in five year intervals
beginning in 1940. My sample space is
rather small, I haven't statified it by
location (North America vs. DX), and
many of the data points are the same
folks worked on several bands.

Did we have a lot of fun! My best effort in
this contest. Had 31 first time worked
calls. Oldest date received W4UK 1951,
latest 2007 N6ML & G6MC. I finally got to
work Phil, GU0SUP. It has been a long
time since I have been able to work him
in a conyesy.
N2QT (WE4M)
Thanks to the SCC for hosting this
contest. My first try at it. With the qsy
limit for SO stations, I was not able to
utilize SO2R (not that there were two
bands open much of time), but I still
managed to pop the ICE419 bandpass
filter on 20M.
I lost several 20-60 minute periods while
thunderstorms rolled through the area.
december 2009 – L13 Š3
Early Sunday morning (local) was a
washout as not much on 80/40 and I
wasn't able to work Europe enough to
bother.
The N1MM logging program would
prepopulate the exchange the second
time I worked a station (good) but then
using ESM it would immediately send the
exchange before sending my call during
S&P (not good). So at least occasionally
when I acted clueless, it wasn't just me.

Interesting to see the various years, a
fair number of newer dates, which is nice
to see...

Semi-serious effort (didn't feel like
getting up at 4am to to catch the start,
so missed the first 2 hours, and ran our
of steam relative to activity 4 hours form
the end), mostly to get some SO2R
practice before CQWW. Great fun on 20m
- was able to run EU for a couple of hours
in the morning, which was a new
experience for me (left coast, first
licensed 2007!). 40m was OK. 15m and
80m pretty dead. I heard someone say
something about a 10m band, but I'm not
sure it exists ;)
Highlights included getting called by
HZ1PS (new entity for me) and catching
GU0SUP for the first time (glad you got
your computer somewhat working!). Also
got called by 4L1BR in the evening. Nice
to see a little JA activity (64 on 20m).

I
managed to log every year from 1947 to
2009, except 1950, (plus 1928, from
RK9CWA) on 20m.
N1MM Logger presented some challenges
- most notably when using keyboard
mode (to send free-form text instead of
canned messages), it'd spontaneously
change keyboard focus to the entry

the resulting QLFs.
Thanks as always to N6RO for use of the

Two hour part time play time to give out

Saturday AM.
NG7Z (W7MRC)
This was more of an exersise in using HP
and new antennas rather than a serious
effort at contesting. I spent a lot of time
this summer improving my 80M and
160M antennas. Replaced the old Ham 4
rotator with a new Yaesu G-1000DXA and
installed a Green Heron controller for the
yagis. Purchased a used IC-2KL amplifier
and matching AT 500 autotuner and
getting used to
auto-switching of
antennas. I was pleased to see that 80M
performance has improved greatly. I can
now use the new 80M loop on 40M
without having to retune when I want to
favor Asia when the beam is pointed
easterly. I didn't realize how effective HP
is on 40M when working EU. I was rarely
able to work EU using low power. Since
all the antennas are resonant, I don't
need to use the AT-500. It functions
mostly as an auto antenna switch. Very
handy indeed. All in all, I'm ready for the
fall contest season. Thanks for the Q's

Testing my new shack layout in my first
SCC RTTY. Worked fine! Strange contest
as multipliers are very important but you
hardly can "hunt" for them. Could not get
the good runs going on 20 meters. Bands
were as expected. The big advantage of
so many years of 0 sunspots is that
propagation forecasting is a piece of
cake!

All used antennas were single band wire

Experience from the last year's contest

Just checking out new setup with Writelog
and simultaneous RTTY reception in LSB
mode using
1) sound card decoder and
2) AEA PK-232 ...
conclusions made: software has evolved
so much nowadays that hardware has
become obsolete ... less noise decoded
by the PK , but many more correct
characters coming in from the sound card
decoder. Again, Writelog keeps proving
itself as the most complete operatororiented contesting software package
37
SCC Novice
around. Win-Test and N1MM are good,
but Writelog is in a class of its own.

Thanks SCC organizers for putting
together a nice contest. Most enjoyable
band was 40M. Could not get much
benefit out of so2r operation because of
the 10/hr band change limitation. 80M
was quite noisy here and had a terrible
time pulling out callsigns (what else is
new). Got confused at the start and for
some reason started calling cq 1 hour
before 12:00z. After 5 minutes of nobody
getting back to me I finally woke up! The
goal was honestly trying to get a bit
better score than what I've managed but
all things considered (crippled 40M
antenna at the moment) I did better than
last year and that's good. So now all I
have to do is remember to send in the log
(yes I somehow forgot last year...)))
Feel good moments: working 2009 mults,
that's so nice!. Noticed more stations are
using the friends.ini file to send name of
station contacted. I have started doing
that myself just lately and I tell you why:
1st I always liked seing my name in the
exchange, a little personal touch, 2nd if
the other station is unsure if I have his
call correct, by seing his name he now
knows that I got it right and vice versa if
I call him John when it's supposed to be
Karl well...maybe better give me another
call and re-log. I only use the NAME
feature in run mode, don't want to
impose of course. It was fun working all
as usual.73, Fabi va2up

Still so very little prop. on 15. A killer
when 1 station can be several multipliers
by working on each band. With the date
of license exchange, fun to see some of
the OTers. Missed an hour when rotor
box crashed. Otherwise pretty Murphyless. See ya in CQWW
W0TUP
Had fun but short of time although I did
pick up one new country for my LOTW
RTTY DXCC.

No sunspots and again terrible conditions

year.
Something's gotta give. Did better with
the Steppir on 20M than previous years.
EU opening on Saturday morning was
fairly good but not as deep as it could
have been. Not a sound out of 15M and
didn't bother looking at 10M.
40M was no good here in the late
afternoon 0030z when so much activity
was on the band. As usual, I could hear
dozens of stations very well but no luck
getting their attention. Took a break,
watched an old movie, and by the time
the band flipped into "pretty good" mode
from out west around 0300z (8 p.m.)
most ops must have been QRT.
Fewer 40M Qs but more mults than 2007,
and down considerably from last year's
103 Qs for 53 mults. Will be interesting to
see if this 40M one-way phenomemon
diminishes as flux rises (some time over
the next decade).
Went to 80M at 0415z and worked a few
stalwarts on that band. Managed 22 Qs
for 18 mults, which is better than last
year but not quite as good as 2007 (29
Qs for 22 mults)
Quite stable performance over the past
three years -- appears to be a ceiling at
around 260 Qs and just shy of 120 mults
from this station. Could have put in more
hours than the 7.5 I worked, but rates

didn't keep me in the chair. Same story
as the previous two years.
Noticed more than a few callers
answering CQ with full exchange. It's
frustrating to hear front-loaded callers
tossing their info blindly, while other
callers are losing out because one person
hasn't quite grasped a pretty simple QSO
pattern.
There's
structure
to
the
madness.
Many of the new guys were great. Saw
2008s and 2009s trading exchanges like
old pros! Hope to hear them often now -only takes one test to get hooked. And
what a great thing it is to have so many
oldtimers on. It is a pleasure to work
guys who have been around for so many
solar cycles.

Thanks to the organisers and to everyone
for the Q's. Not as many Q's as last year
but a few more mults so the final score is
slightly better. Condx were fairly good on
all bands, 10 was in and out so you had
to keep an eye on it in the hopes of
making the odd contact but the other
bands were pretty steady.
Gripes.
How come when you are the only signal
on the band the next guy to arrive parks
himself nearly on top of you causing
maximum annoyance !!

Primerjava postaj YAESU proizvedenih po letu 2000
V prejšnji številki SCC novic smo si
ogledali ICOM radijske postaje. Ne bom
še
enkrat
ponavljal
definicij
za
posamezne meritve, ampak si bomo
ogledali
samo
posamezne
merilne
rezultate in primerjali s podatki z ICOM
postajami. V nabor YAESU postaj sem
izbral samo postaje, katerih testi so bili
objavljeni po letu 2000. To so postaje:
FT-1000MP Mark V, FT-2000, FT-2000D,
FT-450, FT-857, FT-857D, FT-897, FT950, FT-9000 in FT-9000D. Vsi navedeni
podatki so objavljeni na ARRL WEB
straneh oz. so bili objavljeni v reviji QST,
ki ga izdaja ameriška zveza ARRL.
Najbolj
občutljiva
postaja
brez
predojačevalnika je FT-897 z dokaj
skromnimi -133dBm, vendar kljub vsemu
za 1dBm prekaša najboljšo ICOM postajo
IC-7200. S predojačevalnika je najboljša
postaja FT-2000 z -138dBm oz. 141dBm. Nekoliko je boljša ICOM IC7700 z -141dBm oz. -143dBm, vendar je
precej
dražja.
Primerjava
povprečji
meritev med ICOM in YAESU postajami,
so ICOM postaje za 2,22 dBm bolj
občutljive brez predojačevalnika, ter za 4,
22dBM oz. za 6, 73 dBm bolj občutljive s
predojačevalnikom
1
oz.
predojačevalnikom 2. Vendar kot sem
zadnjič zapisal občutljivost sprejemnika,
ni
najbolj
pomembna
lastnost
sprejemnega dela radijske postaje.
Oglejmo si kako se obnašajo postaje v
dinamičnem okolju. Območje blokiranja
ali
B.D.R.
je
sigurno
eno
najpomembnejših
meril
kvalitete
sprejemnika vsake postaje, saj ne želimo,
da nam sprejemani signal »pumpa« ali
izginja v ritmu motečega signala.
Največje območje ima po pričakovanju
tudi najdražja postaja FT-9000D, ki se
ponaša s 138 dB dinamičnega območja
pri sprejemu brez predojačevalnika oz. s
137 dB s predojačevalnika pri razmaku
motečega signala na razdalji 20 kHz. Tudi
pri frekvenčnem odmiku 5 kHz je
najboljša
ista postaja s 127 dB
1.
Z
drugim
predojačevalnikom pa je za 3 dB boljši
Yaesu.
Pri 5 kHz razmaku sta najboljši postaji
ICOM-a In YAESU popolnoma poravnani
pri 127 dB dinamičnega območja pri
izključenih
predojačevalnikih.
Pri
vključenem predojačevalniku 1 je boljša
YAESU FT-9000D s 127 db proti 112 db
pri Icom IC-7800. Povprečje meritev je
zopet na strani ICOM-a z razliko 3,39 dB
brez ojačevalnika napram 7,67 dB pri
vključenem predojačevalniku 1.
Še razmak 2 kHz. Najdražje ni najboljše,
FT-950 vodi za decibel pred ostalimi,
mnogo dražjimi postajami iz YAESU
hleva. Vendar je to pirova zmaga saj je
ICOM skoraj pri vseh postajah iz
41
SCC Novice
njihovega hleva tudi za 19 dB! boljši. To
DR. To je tista »stvar«, ko se vam
začnejo pojavljati čudni signali, izsekani
CW signali več postaj na vaši frekvenci. Z
ICOM postaji IC-7800, vse merjeno brez
predojačevalnika. Z ojačevalnikom 1 pa
so razlike še večje, celih 15 db!, saj ima
IC-7700 kar 115 dB IMD DR napram
YAESU FT-9000 s 100 dB. Vse to je
merjeno na frekvenčnem razmiku 20 kHz.
Primerjava povprečja meritev je še bolj v
korist ICOM-a s 101,5 dB napram 94,11
dB.
Razlika
pri
meritvah
z
predojačevalnikom je še večja in znaša
9,38 dB.
Pri 5 kHz razmaku je najboljša YAESU
postaja FT-9000 z 98 db IMD DR, pri
ICOM-u pa je najboljša IC-7700(B) z 99
dB, vse merjeno brez predojačevalnika.
Povprečje meritev za to meritev je ICOM
s prednostjo 7,82 dB pred YAESU.
Pri 2 kHz razmaku je najboljša YAESU
postaja FT-9000 z 78 dB IMD DR, ICOM
pa s postajo IC-7700(A) s 95 dB zelo
močno prekaša tekmeca v tej meritvi.
Povprečje meritev za to meritev pa je
celih 11,2 dB v ICOM-ovo korist.
Še nekaj številk v zvezi I.P. 3.reda.
Najboljša je FT-9000 pri YAESU s +35 dB
december 2009 – L13 Š3
brez predojačevalnika, vendar je IC-7800
boljši za 3 dB! pri 20 kHz razmaku. Tudi v
povprečju meritev vodi ICOM z naskokom
6,78 dB. Pri meritvah z vključenimi
predojačevalniki so razlike še večje in
znašajo 9,66 oz. 8,5 dB za vključen
predojačevalnik 1 oz. 2.
Pri razmaku 5 kHz pa se stvari nekoliko
spremenijo, brez predojačevalnika v
povprečju vodi ICOM s 1, 75 dB naskoka,
pri vključenem predojačevalniku 1 pa je
boljši YAESU za 6,64 dB! Najboljša je
YAESU FT-9000 z +32 dB proti ICOM IC7800 z 27 dB, vse merjeno z izključenim
predojačevalnikom.
Razmak 2 kHz je največji iziv za vsak
sprejemnik. Tu se je najbolj izkazal ICOM
IC-7800 s +22 dB, YAESU pa mu sledi v
veliki razdalji z borim +1 dB. Vse
merjeno
pri
izključenem
predojačevalniku. Razlika v povprečju
meritev pa je narasla na celih 13,97 db,
kar je tudi največja razlika med vsemi
merjenimi parametri.
Še nekaj komentarjev okoli oddajniškega
dela merjenih postaj.
Največje slabljenje nosilca ima oddajnik
pri YAESU FT-9000 z dušenjem, ki
presega 80db, kar je zgornja meja
zmogljivosti merilnega inštrumenta v
ARRL laboratoriju.
Največje slabljenje neželenega boka je
bilo izmerjeno pri FT-9000D in to več kot
-75 dB. Povprečje je zopet na strani
ICOM-a s prednostjo 6,04 dB. IMD
dušenja pri obeh skupinah se ne
razlikujejo za več kot 2 dB za posamezni
red popačenja. Harmonična popačenja
ima ICOM za povprečno 4,15 db manjša,
kot jih ima YAESU.
Še to: Pred kratkim je bila napovedana
pri YAESU nova postaja FT-dx 5000, z
verzijama D in MP. Na prvi izgled
obetavno vendar se bojim, da bo
obetavna samo cena, hi!
Januarska
števila QST-ja prinaša tri stransko
reklamo postaje v naravni velikosti. Lep
okrasek za novoletno jelko.

Malo za šalo sem v zadnjih dveh stolpcih
sestavil navidezno postajo, ki ima
najboljše parametre od vseh merjenih
postaj ICOM in YAESU. Seveda skoraj v
vseh meritvah prednjačijo najdražje
postaje, vendar pa se pri posameznih
parametrih vrinejo tudi ceneni malčki z
dna cenovne lestvice.

S5 tekma – CQ WW DX SSB Multi Single
Letošnji CQ WW DX SSB je postregel z
zanimivo tekmo med S5 postajami, saj so
kar tri Multi Single ekipe končale z zelo
primerljivim
rezultatom,
a
nadvse
različnimi setupi, tako na področju
tehnične
opremljenosti,
operatorske
zasedbe, kot tudi same geografske
lokacije. Postaja S51A v ljubljanski
vseh doživetjih, premislekih in debatah o
rezultatih so izsledki sila različni.
koncu kontesta. V tem si je ekipa
DvaKratKratKrat enotna, tista v zeleni
vrečki z velikim korenčkom na sliki…

S51A 3830 komentar:
What can we say...WOW...never expected the upper bands to go this well! With this M/S
with Tribander+Wires setup we set the new record since the station is again up and
running. We didn't have the possibility to chase mults during the day since we have only
1 tribander and lost a lot there (we can improve that for next year :) ). Had tremendous
fun and lots of nice mults. Hard to get a CQ frequency and hold it....
Congrats on the other scores specialy congrats on DR1A and 4O3A score! Thanks to the
2 other S5 M/S teams for the good run (S50L and S53S). Thank you all for the qso's and
hope to get you on the frq next time too!
Log will be on LOTW after the log send date.

S53S 3830 komentar:
Finally a non RTTY Multi Single effort from
S53S. Weeks of keeping pressure on Ted
S52X got results and by Wednesday, when
we did some antenna work, it was clear
that we will enjoy a little S5 MS competiton
(with S51A and S50L). Rain before the
contest didn't allow beverage installation,
band decoders were ready just before the
start, but at the end Sunday swithing was
done manually. 40m wall at the start was
high and hard, during Saturday we were
unable to work 15/10m decently. High
winds at S53S contribution wasn't positive
and an improvement on 15/10m setup is
badly needed. Local broadcasters didn't
help either with all that noise on 20-10m.
Anyhow we had a great time, some decent
runs and a delicious soup at the end.
združimo vse tri loge in nastali log pravilno
obračunamo, tudi ob 600 zvezah več,

Spremembe manjših ali večjih razsežnosti
so del našega vsakdana. Leto 2009 je
prineslo nekaj sprememb v pravilih CQ
WW DX tekmovanj, od uvedbe nove
tekmovalne kategorije, na voljo imamo
novo Xtreme kategorijo, do redefiniranja
pristojnosti
tekmovalne
komisije
v
primerih ko je uvrstitev tekmovalca izven
okvira obstoječih pravil. Med temi je tudi
zahteva, da tekmovalci, ki želijo poseči
po najvišjih mestih v posameznih
kategorijah,
se
morajo
strinjati
z
možnostjo obiska opazovalca, ki ga določi
CQ WW Contest Committe, med samim
tekmovanjem.
Prva implementacijo tega pravila se je
zgodila med letošnjim CQ WW DX CW
tekmovanjem, kjer je komisija pod
drobnogled vzela tri tekmovalce RD3AF

50,0 do 50,5 MHz imajo
430MHz in višje.
ponovno izdajo licence (posodobijo).
Indija je dodelila 30m območje, 10.100 do 10.150 kHz radioamaterski dejavnosti na
sekundarni osnovi.
