2015 was a remarkable year for JWS as a brand that is responsive to market needs, we wanted to see different results. So we did things differently. A VISION THAT TURNED INTO REALITY FACTS ABOUT JWS 2015 Based in the fascinating Capital of the UAE – Abu Dhabi The biggest show to date since its inception 23 years ago covering a net space of 4,961sqm and gross space of 11,040sqm The show was fully booked a month before the opening On display was the ‘Mother of Luxury’, an exquisite limited edition handbag by Rue de Bac – There are only 999 such handbags in the world. We were honored to host 150 exhibitors from 24 countries with more than 50 brands showcasing in Abu Dhabi for the very first time. Free-entry to the event for the first time ever & the first 100 shoppers of JWS got free parking on daily basis. OPENING CEREMONY JWS 2015 was Inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development His Royal Highness enjoyed his tour and ensured to give all our exhibitors a warm welcome. He conversed with new brands exhibiting for the first time and wished them the best experience. He greeted the new talents and encouraged their participation. HIGHLIGHTS The magnificent luxury phone presented by Mohammad Rasool Khoury & Sons – Savelli Geneve made its first appearance at the show after its official launch. This smartphone has been handcrafted in Switzerland, cast in 18 carat rose gold, embellished with diamonds, held together by hand-selected, exotic leather and hi-tech, scratch-resistant ceramic. A DAILY RAFFLE DRAW OFFERED A CHANCE TO WIN DIAMOND SET WORTH 50,000 AED AND LUXURY WATCHES FOR VISITORS WE WELCOMED EACH AND EVERY EXHIBITOR WITH JWS CUP CAKES Exclusive ‘Designer’s Lounge’ displayed selection of 5 Emirati designers’ collections HIGHLIGHTS TARGET AUDIENCE Jewellery Enthusiasts / Collectors of Luxury Items Designers / General Public VIP Invitations JWS produced 500 VVIP boxes that included a VIP invitation & a VIP preview catalogue. It was distributed to all Royal Family Members, Head of Government Departments, Businessmen and Loyal Visitors. 60 boxes were specially made for Social Media Influencers, Media Heads & Celebrities, those 60 boxes included an exclusive designed and custom made bracelet for JWS by the emirate jewellery designer Muna Haddad and it was distributed through JWS PR & Social Media Agency who appointed a trusted social media influencer to become a JWS ambassador and insured to hand deliver each invitation to all the well know celebrities.
