Opera Devices SDK 10
Opera Devices SDK 10.15
Develop. Deliver. Delight.
As a rich, robust and open platform combining a standardsbased browser, widgets and presentation engine, Opera Devices
SDK™ 10.15 gives you the performance, flexibility and security
to develop a full Web browser, create user interfaces or deliver
specific Internet experiences that will delight your users, on all of
their devices.
New for Opera Devices SDK 10.15
Opera Turbo*
Opera Turbo™ is an advanced compression technology designed
to speed up data transfer and reduce the amount of data
required to view a Web page. Opera Turbo proxy servers save,
on average, 65-75% on bandwidth. Opera Turbo guarantees an
uncompromised experience for your users, even when surfing
the Web in slow-performing, wireless-network areas.
Web standards
Hardware acceleration
During integration of Opera Devices SDK 10.15, you can take
advantage of OpenGL/ES, DirectX1 or DirectFB acceleration to
boost performance when implementing zoom capability or processing the rendering of Internet pages, Web applications or
user interfaces.
Opera brings the same Web technology to all types of mobile
and connected devices with best-in-class support for standards,
great rendering and script-engine performances. Opera Devices
SDK 10.15 shares Opera Presto™ capabilities with:
• Opera: the longest living and most innovative desktop Web browser in the world
• Opera Mobile™: a Web browser shipped on more than 135 million mobile phones.

Opera Devices SDK
Opera is continuously working to improve its support for Web
standards. The Opera Devices SDK 10.15 has better support
for HTML5, providing support for local storage of data structure
contained in Web pages. With CSS3 CSS Transforms, DOM elements can now be animated, scaled, skewed, rotated and translated in a very simple manner.
