REMOVAL OF OEM BUMPER
1. Open hood.
2. Remove two silver machine screws on top inside of grill with 10mm
socket.
3. Remove two plastic clips on top outside of grill.

4. Remove three plastic clips from bottom inside of grill. (one on each side
and one in the middle)
5. Remove plastic quarter turn fastener with flathead screwdriver and screw
in fender well with 10mm socket. (both sides)

6. Remove six screws in the bottom of OEM bumper with a 10mm socket
7. Unplug OEM fog lights (if applicable)
8. Remove trim pieces under headlights by gently pulling away from the
truck to remove the first tab.

9. Then gently pull toward the center of the truck to remove the second set of
tabs.
10. Remove OEM bumper cover by gently pulling away from the truck. (both
sides)

11. Remove tabs on bottom inside of grill to separate the OEM bumper cover
from the grill.

11. Remove four nuts from center OEM bumper cover support structure with a
10mm socket and set aside.

12. Remove two nuts from side OEM bumper cover support structure, and one
bolt from center of plastic bracket with 10mm socket. (both sides)
13. Remove plastic bracket by gently pulling away from truck. (both sides)

14. Remove two bolts on OEM bumper cover support bracket with 10mm
socket. Gently slide bracket toward the center of the truck to remove.
(both sides)
15. Remove six nuts on OEM bumper with 14mm socket.

16. Remove three nuts on factory frame/bumper bracket. (both sides)
17. Remove four bolts from bottom of frame rail with 17mm socket. (two are
on OEM tow hook on passenger side of truck)

18. Remove frame rail ends by pulling away from center of truck. These will
not be reused.

IV.
INSTALLATION OF
HAMMERHEAD BUMPER
1. Install Hammerhead frame mounts with factory hardware on front flange and
½” x 2 bolt on lower flange. (both sides)
2. Install and align Hammerhead bumper using six ½”x2” bolts, then torque bolts.

3. Install and align Hammerhead skid plate using four ½” x 1.25” bolts
