Tour Itinerary
Monday 2nd October 2017
After an early morning flight from East Midlands to Majorca, we enjoy a free
afternoon to relax and settle in to our hotel and explore Cala Millor. (D)
Tuesday 3rd October 2017
Today we head by coach to the old town of Alcudia, which has houses dating
back to the 13th century. Enjoy a relaxing coffee before embarking on a lovely
coastal walk, overlooking the crystal sea and white sand beaches typical of this
island. Our walk leads to the popular resort of Puerto Pollensa, with free time for
lunch at its modern marina before returning to our hotel. (B,D)
Wednesday 4th October 2017
Following breakfast, our coach takes us to the picturesque mountain village of
Deya, overlooking glorious blue waters and lush green forests. After coffee we
embark on a beautiful walking trail, with stunning views of the north coast. Our
walk concludes with a rest at an old farmhouse which is famous for its tasty tea
and cake. Our coach will be waiting at Soller, with great views across the valley
on our journey back to our hotel. (B,D)
Thursday 5th October 2017
Enjoy a free day to explore glorious Majorca at leisure, or perhaps join David for a
morning walk. He will be walking from the hotel to the neighbouring resort of
Costa del Pins, enjoying a drink over gorgeous beach views before returning to
spend the afternoon at leisure. (B,D)
Friday 6th October 2017
Take a wonderfully scenic drive via coach, travelling through Inca into the
Tramuntana mountains, which form the northern backbone of the island. Our
journey ends at the famous pilgrimage site of Lluc. From the monastery, we walk
through one of the prettiest parts of Majorca, arriving back late afternoon. (B,D)
Saturday 7th October 2017
Enjoy a full day optional excursion with our local expert guide, Rich. He will guide
us through some of the lesser known parts of the island, enjoying the landscape’s
autumnal colours in all of their glory. (Details to be sent in due course). (B,D)
Sunday 8th October 2017
Explore the island’s interior today, heading to the lovely town of Vilafranca. We
walk up to the church here, enjoying spectacular views across the island before
descending into Petra for well-deserved tea and cake. (B,D)
Monday 9th October 2017
Today we say goodbye, heading to the airport for our flight home, arriving into
Staffordshire early afternoon. (B)
