Tour Itinerary Monday 2nd October 2017 After an early morning flight from East Midlands to Majorca, we enjoy a free afternoon to relax and settle in to our hotel and explore Cala Millor. (D) Tuesday 3rd October 2017 Today we head by coach to the old town of Alcudia, which has houses dating back to the 13th century. Enjoy a relaxing coffee before embarking on a lovely coastal walk, overlooking the crystal sea and white sand beaches typical of this island. Our walk leads to the popular resort of Puerto Pollensa, with free time for lunch at its modern marina before returning to our hotel. (B,D) Wednesday 4th October 2017 Following breakfast, our coach takes us to the picturesque mountain village of Deya, overlooking glorious blue waters and lush green forests. After coffee we embark on a beautiful walking trail, with stunning views of the north coast. Our walk concludes with a rest at an old farmhouse which is famous for its tasty tea and cake. Our coach will be waiting at Soller, with great views across the valley on our journey back to our hotel. (B,D) Thursday 5th October 2017 Enjoy a free day to explore glorious Majorca at leisure, or perhaps join David for a morning walk. He will be walking from the hotel to the neighbouring resort of Costa del Pins, enjoying a drink over gorgeous beach views before returning to spend the afternoon at leisure. (B,D) Friday 6th October 2017 Take a wonderfully scenic drive via coach, travelling through Inca into the Tramuntana mountains, which form the northern backbone of the island. Our journey ends at the famous pilgrimage site of Lluc. From the monastery, we walk through one of the prettiest parts of Majorca, arriving back late afternoon. (B,D) Saturday 7th October 2017 Enjoy a full day optional excursion with our local expert guide, Rich. He will guide us through some of the lesser known parts of the island, enjoying the landscape’s autumnal colours in all of their glory. (Details to be sent in due course). (B,D) Sunday 8th October 2017 Explore the island’s interior today, heading to the lovely town of Vilafranca. We walk up to the church here, enjoying spectacular views across the island before descending into Petra for well-deserved tea and cake. (B,D) Monday 9th October 2017 Today we say goodbye, heading to the airport for our flight home, arriving into Staffordshire early afternoon.
