THE INSIDER mm m ee rr 22 00 0 0 75 sspp ee cci iaal l eeddi itt ii oo nn ss uu m Bring the Family and Watch as we LIGHT UP THE NIGHT! FEATURING JULY 4th, CENTRAL WINDS PARK, 4:00 - 11:00PM Wednesday, July 4th The 2007 Celebration of Freedom promises to be the best yet. In addition to the always popular world-class fireworks show, this year’s event features the addition of country supergroup LITTLE TEXAS. With over six million albums and mega hits like “What Might Have Been” and “My Love” to their credit, LITTLE TEXAS hardly need an introduction. They burst onto the scene in the 90’s and within five years had established themselves as one of country’s “supergroups” and one of the most exciting live bands of the genre. Their debut album, “First Time For Everything,” yielded five hit singles during the 90’s and launched the band in a big, big way, setting the stage for their hugely successful sophomore effort, “Big Time.” Featuring smash hits like “God Blessed Texas” and the monster ballad “My Love,” that album became Little Texas’ biggest-selling CD of their impressive career. Don’t miss “the hardest working band in country music” hitting the main stage at 7:00pm. Kari Kimmel, who makes Winter Springs her second home, has written and performed songs for movies such as “White Chicks”, “Ella Enchanted”, and “Shall We Dance”. She performed her first music video “It’s Not Just Make Believe” which can be seen on the Ella Enchanted DVD and hosted the red carpet premier aired on ABC Family. As well as movies, Kari’s songs have also been featured in numerous television shows such as “8 Simple Rules For Dating My Teenage Daughter”, “The Gilmore Girls”, “The Young and the Restless”, “The Bold and the Beautiful”, MTV’s “Camp Jim”, “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills”. Kari’s latest endeavor, “A Life in the Day” is her first solo record. Kari has also written for other artists, delivering a major hit single for American Idol Kimberley Locke with “I Could”. TODD LEWIS, MASTER OF CEREMONIES If you have been at a sporting event in Central Florida, chances are you have seen former Local 6 Sports Director Todd Lewis. Todd, originally from North Carolina, came to Orlando after working as a sports broadcaster in North Carolina and Washington State. Living and working in Central Florida is perfect for this man on the move. He loves golfing, running and racing anything with a motor. He also has a passion for snowboarding but has yet to find a double black diamond slope in Florida. You can also catch Todd hosting the Gator football post-game and summertime golf shows on Sun Sports throughout the year. FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR The City of Winter Springs has gone the extra mile to ensure this year’s fireworks presentation is second to none.
