Entrepreneur Workshop Do you want to help your community become entrepreneur ready? What does that mean in today's economy, and what does it mean to a community like Bastrop? These questions and more will be answered at this "Kickoff" workshop on Wednesday, April 1 from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. We want your involvement and input. This session provides guidelines and criteria to develop local systems that support entrepreneurs as a means of invigorating the local economy. If you are an entrepreneur and you want to mentor other businesses to help Bastrop grow and prosper, then you need to attend this FREE workshop! n Topics to be covered in the session include: n The Power of Entrepreneurs n Supporting Entrepreneur Venture Development n The Community Certification Process n A Community Assessment Matrix n Creating a Strong Entrepreneur Support System n Youth Entrepreneurship Programs and Resources n Action Plans for Success and Sustainability Expect this to be an action-packed day full of sharing, discussion, experiential learning and practical applications. At the end of the day you will leave with plans and tools to rally people in this community around critical issues, with specific strategies for program implementation, and with information on where to access resources. Come prepared to get fully involved in this "high energy" workshop as a significant amount of material will be reviewed in a relatively short period of time. The agenda allows for Q&A, for discussion, and for drafting action plans to get things "kick started" - even before you leave for home. We've made it easy to register so do it now... Call 512-332-0068. The workshop will be held in the Heritage Hall, at 1020 Main Street in Bastrop. We're hoping you join us for this interesting, informative and thought-provoking workshop.
