Here are the Program Rules for National Show Nomination -PLEASE NOTE: Must Be Entered in the
Super Gelding Program First To Be Eligible. See Super Gelding Form at www.shetlandminiature.com
Each nomination is $20 per horse per division nominated. If the horse is nominated for both halter and performance the
cost will be $40. Divisions will be awarded as followed: Miniature Performance A, Miniature Performance B, Miniature
Halter A, Miniature Halter B, Foundation Pony Halter, Foundation Pony Performance, Classic Pony Halter, Classic Pony
Performance, MP Halter, MP Performance, Modern Halter, Modern Performance, ASPR Halter, ASPR Performance.
Points System:
Each horse is awarded points based on placing in the
class.
Points will be awarded as followed:
First place = 10 points
Second place= 8 points
Third place= 6 points
Fourth place= 4 points
Fifth place= 2 points
Six place=0.5 points
Performance tabulation:
For each gelding nominated choose up to 20 performance
classes to fill out the form. On the form provided fill out the
date of the show, the class name, and the place given along
with the judge’s name. Each judge is considered 1 class.
For example, at a 3 judge show, you can choose the placings

Pre-requisite: Your gelding must currently be nominated for the 2016 Super Gelding Program in order
to qualify for the National Super Gelding Program. Forms to nominate your gelding can be found on

Entries MUST be postmarked no later than August 1, 2016 for Congress participants and October 1, 2016
for Miniature Nationals participants.
Fill out attached form during the national show. Enter all the classes your gelding competed in (can be
all performance and halter classes). Write down your placings as well as the number of horses in the
class. Points will be tallied just like the normal Super Gelding placings. The winner will receive $250 for
being the top Gelding at the National Show.
