TCBC Off to a Great Start in 2014!
The Capitol Bulldog
Club supported the
Bulldog entry on Saturday, January 11, at
the Fredericksburg
Kennel Club Show.
This event drew 21
Bulldogs, up from past
years. The other four
days of the cluster had
good numbers also.
We are well on our
way to drawing majors
in the future! Plan to
support this event next
year! Not only will you
see some great Bulldogs; but, you can also
see some of the top
dogs in the country!
Many are in practice
for the upcoming
Westminster Kennel
Club show at Madison
Square Garden in February.
After the show, the
club held its first meeting of the year. The
board welcomes Laura
Bialkowski-West.
Laura joins the other
officers who remain
from the previous year.
Thanks to Dave West
for his years of service!
TCBC welcomes three
new members. Robert
and Jennifer Lane and
Donna Lynn Curtis.
Our next event will be
our yearly specialty
shows, March 14-16.
Meet The Breed
TCBC participated in
Fredericksburg Kennel
Club’s meet the breeds.
Owners, with their Bulldogs greeted visitors at
the front door of the
Expo Center.
This
event helps educate the
public on the breeds
represented.
Please mark your calendars and plan to join
us for a good time!
Premiums should be
arriving soon (if not
already). Let’s support
our club with entries
and lending a helping
hand! This will be the
first time TCBC has
offered a three win
trophy. It will be exciting to see who wins!
It must be won three
years by the same
owner to retain possession. It will be the
beginning of a nice
tradition in memory of
John and Mickey
Spencer who were
founding members of
Capitol Bulldog Club.
