It is an opportunity to hear from your child’s classroom teacher about the curriculum and grade level expectations. We hope you are able to join us. Our specialist team will be on the east playground to help supervise school age children during the presentations. We do ask that infants and toddlers stay with their parents. Thank you for your understanding. Thank you to our Outstanding PTA – We want to extend our appreciation to the PTA for their support of our classrooms. Through PTA’s generosity all teachers are being gifted with funds to support their classes and teams. Also our 5th and 6th grade classrooms were equipped with document cameras and 4 of the classrooms received large screen TVs. We hope that all parents/ guardians will consider attending Monday’s PTA meeting 6:30pm in the school cafeteria to learn more about how this group impacts our school and the students. Daily Attendance is important to student success. Teachers are sharing many new skills and strategies everyday with your child. When a child misses school it is lost instruction. I ask that you do everything you can to have your child at school everyday, all day and on time. First thing in the morning is a critical time for students to connect and ready themselves for learning. When they arrive late it interrupts the flow of the classroom. I realize that at times it is unavoidable; however, I do ask that you make school a priority for your child and know that they are beginning to establish good life long patterns that will set them up for long term success. Absence – If your child is going to be absent please call the Health Office. If we do not hear from you by 9:30am, the health aide will attempt to contact you. Excellent Attendance Being in school every day means your child won’t miss out on learning. Try to schedule appointments and family trips outside of school hors.
