Landline phones can still work during power outages when Voice over IP phones will not. If power is out for an extended period of time, your cell phone battery may lose power too. Plus, when bundled with digital TV and DSL, your phone line is nearly free! Remember – in a power outage, landline phones that are cordless will not work either. It is important to keep a corded phone somewhere in your home to use during bad weather and power outages. Visit your local NU-Telecom to see our selection of corded phones. Disaster Recovery Business owners – is your server at work protected from severe storms and natural disasters? NU-Telecom’s Disaster Recovery service can help protect your important information too. In the event of a failure, our Disaster Recovery service can get you up and running in under an hour resulting in a limited disruption from your work.
