In Montenegro there are 2 International airports: Podgorica and Tivat.
Recently, there are regular low cost flights to Montenegro. The national
airline company Montenegro Airlines opened connections with 4 German
cities.
By boat:
There are 3 seaports in Montenegro: Bar, Kotor and Zelenika. All year
round there are scheduled ferry lines with Bari and Ancona from the port
Bar.
By rail:
Montenegro has a railway line connecting Bar and Belgrade (Serbia) serving
the cities Podgorica, Kolasin, Mojkovac and Bijelo Polje on its way.
Where the fjord meet the Mediterranean…
The bay of Kotor is a perfect nautical playground. It is considered to be the
southernmost European fjord. Islands such as Our Lady of the Rock or City of
Kotor, Perast and Tivat are perfect places to land for sightseeing.
The walls surrounding the old town of Kotor were one of the main motives and
reasons why the UNESCO put this city on the list of the world natural and cultural
heritage in 1979.
Perast is a small town that has kept the soul of a typical fisherman village. Tivat
shouldn’t be missed either for its Porto Montenegro and Lido Mar which are
famous among yachting clients.

The strongest attribute of Montenegro is an impressive possibility to
be on the roof of Montenegro and at the sea in the same day.
Stretching from the coast towards the former capital of Montenegro,
Cetinje you will find mount Lovcen forming a national park. Lovcen is the
„Holy altar” for the Montenegrins as from there you can enjoy in a 360
degrees amazing view over the roof from Montengero, the bay of Kotor
and the coast.
Kolašin is ranked as an air spa with great winter and summer activities
along the Tara and Moraca canyon north of Podgorica. A special attraction
is the Biogradsko Lake located in the National Park "Biogradska Gora"
which is one of three preserved virgin forests in Europe.
On the slopes of Mount Durmitor, "the most beautiful severe scenery„, you
will find the town Zaljak, a second famous ski resort. A must see is one of
the 17 gorgeous glacial lakes called the Black lake.

Podgorica has always been at the historical and cultural crossroad of Europe. It is here
where many nations, cultures and roads have met. Old and new, traditional and modern,
Podgorica offers its charm to all visitors.
Podgorica boasts beautiful, unspoiled scenery, cultural heritage from different epochs,
modern buildings and monuments. It is a nicely situated town, close to European main
centers. There are few towns in this world which are only an hour drive from the closest
sea and mountain resorts. Mild, almost Mediterranean climate, makes Podgorica one of
the warmest towns in Europe
At nine kilometers from the city is the International Airport, with railway and bus stations
close to one another.

The coast boasts some of the Mediterranean’s finest beaches – wide
sandy bays, punctuated by rocky outcrops and romantic hidden
coves.
It is not just a place of outstanding natural beauty, there’s plenty of culture
and glamour to enjoy too. Budva town itself has fantastic restaurants and
nightlife, as well as an historic old town dating from the Venetian-era.
Then there is Sveti Stefan, a hamlet of old-stone houses perched on a
rocky-outcrop and connected to the mainland by a sandy spit. Once a
simple fishing village, the island was turned into a hotel under Tito's orders.
It rose to celebrity stardom, favoured by stars such as Sophia Loren and
Elizabeth Taylor but eventually fell into a state of disrepair. After many
years of restoration work, Sveti Stefan re-opened as an ultra-luxurious
Aman Resort and is quickly regaining its cache as the place to be seen.
