High-speed shim stack
preload regulates oil flow
at high shaft speeds. Using
this adjuster can increase
your confidence and control
through square edges,
g-outs, and landings.
High Speed compression – Controls fork
movement when it is compressing very
rapidly (ie: fast shaft speed). High speed
compression can be tuned to provide
increased control when riding over square
edged obstacles and during big hit landings.
The floodgate Switch
The floodgate Switch is
used to toggle between
performance and efficient
modes. With the floodgate
“on”, the fork will have a level
of threshold or platform for
efficient pedaling. With the
floodgate “off”, the fork is
fully active and responsive to
terrain input.

The long travel single crown fork sees
the most diverse combination of rider
and terrain inputs in mountain biking. In
order to address these inputs and maintain
control, this rider needs a highly adjustable performance damper. Mission Control
answers the need with technologies such
as shimmed damper performance, Dual
Flow rebound, and detented adjusters. In
addition, when the trail turns uphill, the
rider can benefit from a floodgate that can
be turned on or off as well. Mission Control
provides an immense range of tuning for
the long travel single crown fork.

Motion Control allows the rider the ability
to tune their fork with the desired level
of efficiency, yet retain small bump
performance. Besides being light, durable,
consistent, and easy to service, the Motion
Control damper offers a wide range of
usable set-up choices.
The NEW BlackBox Motion Control
damping system builds upon the
foundation of the original Motion Control.
It features a titanium spring tube as well
as Dual Flow compression and rebound.
External adjustments are detented. Crown
adjust forks utilize a carbon fiber compression knob, while remote forks use a
new
“Nip-Tuck” spool that hides excess cable
for a cleaner look.

All the simplicity of Motion Control with
the addition of high-speed compression
control. “IS” stands for Integrated SpeedStack. During our development of the
Motion Control for the BoXXer we discovered the need for high-speed compression
control on long travel forks. To gain high
speed compression control in the BoXXer
we developed the BlackBox SpeedStack,
which is a secondary piston and shim
stack. The IS places the shim stack directly
on the Motion Control valve body, creating an elegant and functional design. Low
speed compression adjusts via a knob on
the crown, while high speed compression
is controlled by our factory set shim stack.

mechanism that provides for improved
comfort and safety when unforeseen impacts or obstacles are encountered in the

Dual Flow Adjust Rebound:
Dual Flow incorporates independent
damping circuits for beginning and ending
stroke rebound. Beginning stroke rebound
is externally adjustable and ending stroke
rebound is factory tuned. Beginning stroke
rebound controls the speed at which the
shock extends to its full travel position
after a small compression. Ending stroke
rebound, dictates the speed at which the
suspension extends to its full travel position after a large compression.
