Dreams Wedding Packages
Dreams Wedding in Paradise Package
This package is complimentary when booking at least 7 nights in
the Preferred Club Honeymoon Suite or higher or if 5 rooms, any
category, are booked for at least 3 nights. This package also applies
for renewal of vows ceremony.

complimentary and the free wedding package cannot be deducted when purchasing

Through our expertise and partnerships with amazing décor
suppliers and chefs specializing in authentic Indian cuisine, you
can rest assured knowing that your traditions and customs will
be honored and our dedicated on-site wedding coordinators will
work diligently to create unique and dynamic wedding events.
Our Shaadi Package consists of six events over the course of three
days and inclusive of seventy five guests. Please work with your
dedicated on-site coordinator to tailor these events, add guests, or

The Waterford Yours Truly Champagne Flute Pair (please request
through the website after the wedding).
Consumers who purchase the Dreams of Love and Ultimate
Wedding Package qualify to receive a pair of Your Truly champagne
flutes.
Upon returning home from their wedding at Dreams Resorts &
Spas, the bride and groom will upload the required information
about their stay for validation. Once all travel, minimum nights and
resort stays are validated, the information will be submitted for
processing.
Full name, resort of stay, date of travel and complete shipping
address must be submitted to qualify.
Please allow a minimum of four weeks from the date of submission
to receive the champagne flutes. Champagne flutes are not
redeemable for cash, are non-transferable and cannot be applied to
an alternate reservation.

have chosen this venue. In the case of weather

stone and wood outdoor decorations bring a very
tropical and warm feel to any event.

largest of all the terraces. With an amazing view
overlooking the gardens, gazebo and other venues,
it is quite the impressive location to have an intimate
activity.

sculptures, this terrace is perfect for any type of
event. It is on our main buffet restaurants side, with
easy access to all our international cuisines.
It is our indoor location, where you can also
celebrate a warm and private event. The ballroom
can be divided into 3 separate meeting spaces to
accommodate almost any type of group, whether a
large one or a more intimate celebration.

Dinner and Locations
The resort has various locations where we are able to set your dream
wedding reception depending on your preferences.
Our packages include either the Silver or Gold Dinner Wedding
package and can be set up at any of the above mentioned terraces
or ballroom.
Dinner Policies
• S et menus for wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners are
available for groups. (Additional charges apply)
•N
o music or dancing are allowed in any of our restaurants.
•M
usic is only allowed at private events on our different terraces or/
and in our ballroom.
•W
edding receptions included in the packages offer 1 hour for
cocktail and three hours for dinner reception, after this time an
additional fee applies per person per hour. All events are permitted
until no later than 11:00 PM.
• E xtra hour fee - 2 to 20 people – $300.00 (minimum charge) Extra
person after initial 20 – $15.00/person/hour
• W
eather is reviewed four hours prior for all outside ceremonies or
activities. If inclement weather is forecasted, the ceremony and/or
reception must be moved alternate locations indoor.
• Terraces are subject to availability and reserved on a first come,
first serve basis.
• Guests can provide their own music at no additional fee; however,
guests must rent a sound system.
• All times are subject to availability.

Shipping Procedures
Dreams Punta Cana highly recommends that all additional
decorations and/or favors be brought with the couple on the plane.
•P
lease be advised that food, animals, insects or natural flowers are
not permitted to enter the Dominican Republic.
Dreams Punta Cana will deliver gifts to the guest’s rooms. There will be
a $3.00 USD. A complete list of all guests along with room numbers is
required.
Policy on Damages and Losses
The property does not assume responsibility for any items, personal
or professional, brought onto the resort prior to, during or after
the wedding event. These include, but are not limited to, floral
arrangements, decorations or equipment. The wedding couple
is responsible for all non resort guests while they are on property
attending the event.
Please disucss any questions regarding shipping items to the resort
directly with your wedding coordinator.

Payment Policy
Deposit Policy
A $100.00 deposit is required to confirm and hold the requested
wedding date. This deposit can then be applied toward ceremony and/
or reception upgrades which have been purchased in addition to the
wedding package. If the wedding couple chooses not to purchase
additional ceremony and/or reception amenities, the credit can then
be applied toward any room charges upon check out, including
but not limited to phone charges, spa treatments and logo shop
purchases. Any remaining credit balance will be refunded in the form
of the original payment.
Cancellation Policy
The wedding can be canceled six or more months prior to the confirmed
date without penalties. If the wedding is canceled within six months,
the non-refundable deposit will be kept as a penalty. If the wedding is
canceled, but the couple still travels as planned, the deposit can then
be applied toward any additional room charges made during their stay.

Legal Requirements
Documentation required by the Dominican Law in order to be
legally married in the Dominican Republic.
Civil Wedding
•B
irth Certificate of Bride and Groom or certified copy of Birth
certificate. If parents’ names are not shown on the certificates,
please indicate them separately.
•N
otarized Declaration of Single status for the Bride and Groom. If
previously married, submit two copies of the Divorce Decree or
Death Certificate. There is a mandatory waiting period for women,
10 months before they are legally allowed to remarry.
•A
photocopy of Bride and Groom’s Passport (or documents used
to enter the DR).
•P
hotocopies of all Witnesses Passports. Cannot be family
members. If necessary, resort will provide witnesses.
•B
ride & Groom must be in the country 3 business days prior to the
wedding. Symbolic and non-legal ceremonies allow flexibility for
arrival date. Please speak with the wedding coordinator to discuss
requirements.
Please note: The Dominican Republic is now a member of the La Hague
Convention, please have your official documents apostilled by your
Secretary of State Office.
You can Also contact“Vitalcheck.com”to request apostilled Documents.
All documents must be translated and legalized by the Dominican
Consulate prior to arriving in the Dominican Republic, except for the
Passports. The documents should be legalized by the Dominican
Consulate no more than 3 months prior to the wedding date. It is the
couple’s responsibility to have all the documentation ready prior to the
wedding. The Judge is an outside service provided by the Dominican
Government. We cannot be held responsible for any delay or alteration.
The Judge will duly register your Wedding Certificate at the Central
Civil Board and legalize it with the Foreign Affairs Department of the
Dominican Republic. We will then send the Wedding Certificate to the
couple via mail which may take up to 10-12 weeks.
The Civil Wedding is celebrated in Spanish. If necessary, Dreams Punta Cana
will provide English, French or German translators without an additional
charge.
