Tools My DAW of choice is Logic Pro. I have also worked with Pro Tools, Digital Performer and Reaper. My main orchestral weapon is Vienna Symphonic Library’s Symphonic Cube with their amazing MIR convolution engine. I do consulting on effective studio setup with this software package. My project studio runs several networked Macs, several tera bites of samples and sound effects libraries, some sweet recording gear: Neumann, AKG and Schoeps microphones, Universal Audio preamps and compressors, Sound Devices mobile recorders, innumerable plug ins (FabFilter, Izotope, Sony Oxford, Melodyne, Waves, Vienna Suite...), excellent audio interfaces and SPL analog summing. Being an active musician I play bass (electric, fretless and upright), guitar, Ukulele and am decent on cello and keyboards. Many of the music tracks I have composed for games are sample based. Whenever possible (budgets, deadlines...) I enhance these sample based productions with live instruments, which I record in my studio.
