Grampians Produce Junior Cupcake Challenge Entries to be delivered to the Grampians Culinary Challenge Marquee by 11.00am on Sunday. Grape Stomping Frank Camorra kicks off our cooking demonstrations in the Main Marquee at 10.30am on Saturday and 11.00am on Sunday. Monique Brumby Live Music ARIA award winning musician Monique Brumby (Sunday only), will be joined on the main stage by Buddha in a Chocolate Box, The Still Trees and Bree-Arne Chamley. Each year Grampians wineries donate a quantity of their Shiraz fruit from the previous year’s vintage which is then skillfully blended by three of the regions best winemakers. Wine enthusiasts will have the opportunity to bid for ownership and can choose to make purchases in dozen lots. Registrations and tasting will be available from 1.30pm and auction commences at 2.00pm Saturday. grampians culinary challenge children’s cupcake challenge Heats in the Grampians Produce Marquee at 11.00am, 12.00pm and 2.30pm Saturday. Grand Final at 11.00am on Sunday. Sunday at the Grampians Produce marquee With the support of the shires that make up the Grampians region, Grampians Produce will again provide the stage for local chefs to showcase their culinary skills whilst cooking with the best produce from the region. The final cook off will take place on Sunday. Special guest judge is James Campbell, Head Chef of iconic Melbourne restaurant Mo Vida Aqui. This event will require Junior Chefs to make and decorate four cupcakes. There will be three age categories and cupcakes need to be bought to the Village Oval for judging by 11.30am Sunday. There will be great prizes for all three categories. Judging of the Children’s Cupcake Challenge will be by Jack Lark, a top 4 star performer in Junior Masterchef Fun for the Kids This year we have a jam packed program of activities for the kids including: Bubble Muffin Kids Cooking Club, Monty’s Express Train, Halls Gap Zoo, Grampians Rock Climbing Wall, Grape Stomping, clown antics, face painting and Cupcake Sunday with Jack Lark from Junior Master Chef. Horsham Location Halls Gap is situated approximately two hours and 45 minutes’ drive from Melbourne. Follow the Western Highway before turning to Halls Gap from either Stawell or Ararat.
