2 Dual LLM Program
IE Law School and The Dickson Poon School of Law at King’s College London have created a Dual LLM exchange program
that allows students to obtain two LLM degrees on an accelerated basis.
The Dickson Poon School of Law is based in the East Wing of Somerset House, an iconic building in central London,
located at the heart of the British legal and political world and surrounded by major global law firms.
IE Law School is centrally located in the exciting city of Madrid, the financial and political capital of Spain.
Students begin the program at IE Law School, where they will earn an LLM in one of the following fields:
• Asesoría Jurídica de Empresas (Spanish Business Law) www.ie.edu/maj
• Asesoría Fiscal de Empresas (Tax Law) www.ie.edu/maf
• International Law www.ie.edu/illm
IE Law School’s Dobles Master en Abogacía allow the Dual LLM with King’s College.
For more information about this option, please contact the Admissions Team directly: [email protected]
Following the period at Madrid (10 or 6 months depending on the intake), students will travel to London where they will
choose which type of LLM they want to pursue:
• Specialist LLMs:
· Competition Law
· European Law
· International Financial Law
· International Business Law
· Intellectual Property & Information Law
· International Tax
• General LLM:
Students select modules which comprise not only modules forming part of the above specialist LLMs but also
a significant part of other modules. From this wide selection students will be able to tailor a general LLM to suit
their purposes. For details of the modules offered, please consult the Online Prospectus (www.kcl.ac.uk/llm)
