Getting Started Securing Event Location In order to secure a date, time, and location for your event, Detroit Sportservice must receive a deposit of $1,500.00 or 10% of proposed menu, whichever is greater within 72 hours of date being placed on hold. Deposit must be accompanied with a signed contract and menu proposal. Below, please find information relating to specific requirements for each of our venues. Guest Minimums: Each location at Comerica Park has a guest count minimum and guest count capacity. Dependant upon the type of event and set-up, these may fluctuate. If you do not meet the minimum guest requirements, but your event set-up may require a larger space, please contact our Catering and Sales Manager to discuss options. Food & Beverage Minimums: Each location at Comerica Park has a food and beverage minimum, this is the minimum amount of billable food and beverage required for each location. We understand that different types of events may have different needs, we are willing to work with you to find the best location for your event to meet your budget. Please understand, due to the nature of the facility if minimums are not met a fee may be assessed. Please contact our Catering and Sales Manager for more information. Load In & Load Out Fee: If your event requires any set-up or tear-down outside of the day of the event which would prohibit booking event location for rental, a Load In/Load Out Fee of $1000 will be assessed. Fee is subject to change dependant upon the dates being blocked for load in/load out. Tiger Club Minimum 75 guests, Maximum 400 guests seated/600 standing Food & Beverage Minimum $5,000.00 Tiger Den (Seasonal) Minimum of 50 guests, Maximum 100 guests seated/200 standing Food & Beverage Minimum $2,000.00 Beer Hall (Seasonal) Minimum of 100 guests, Maximum 300 seated/350 standing Food & Beverage Minimum $2,500.00 Brushfire Brushfire Grill (Seasonal) Can be combined with Tiger Den and Beer hall to accommodate up to 1,000 guests standing and seated. Minimum 100 guests, Maximum 300 seated/450 standing Food & Beverage Minimum $2,500.00 Champions Club (Seasonal) Minimum 50 guests, Maximum 140 guests Food & Beverage Minimum $2,000.00 Jungle (Seasonal) Minimum 50 guests, Maximum 150 guests Food & Beverage Minimum $2,000.00 Requirements Facility Rental Requirements Comerica Park does not charge a room rental fee, however the following requirements apply to all events hosted in any venues at Comerica Park A service charge of 18% and Michigan Sales Tax of 6% is not included in menu pricing and will be applied to all food and beverage. Equipment Fee $5.00 per guest/per seating Set-up, teardown, re-set and house linens Security Security is a requirement at Comerica Park and must be provided by Comerica Park. A fee of $20.00 per hour per security personnel will be billed. Number of personnel is based on the number of guests in attendance. A four hour minimum per personnel is required; an additional half-hour will be automatically added to the beginning and end of the event. Event set-up and tear down may require additional security. Coat Check $75.00 per attendant Restroom Attendants $120.00 per event Cake Cutting Service Fee $1.50 per guest One attendant per 100 guests (seasonal requirement) Fee will be added for any wedding or special occasion cake not purchased through Comerica Park Event Vendor References Comerica Park has a network of experienced and trusted vendors for all of your event needs.
