Day 1: Arrival at Bangkok
Upon arrival, you will be welcome with flowers
garlands. Then transfer to the hotel, the Residence
Sathorn 3*. Free time. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: BANGKOK - AMPHAWA
Meeting with your guide at the hotel and departure to a small town situated 80 km south from Bangkok:
Amphawa. First stop on the way to visit one of the area most interesting Temple: the Wat Bang Kung. It was
built during the 17th century and notably enshrines a small chapel covered in Banyan Trees. Continuation
towards the artisanal center of Benjarong which is very well known for its production of ceramic articles that
are finely manually decorated. Not only famous for their resistance to scratches, their colors are also very
strong and will not deteriorate through time. There, you will learn more about the handicraft technics and
have the opportunity to observe craftspeople working on those incredible pieces.
Lunch in a local restaurant situated next to a river. Continuation of the route and arrival in Amphawa, a very
charming town crossed by beautiful small streams. Arrival at the Baan Amphawa Resort (your hotel for the
night) which is situated just next to the Mae Klong River. During the afternoon: cruise along the streams in the

village that offers authentic and
beautiful sceneries with coconut
groves, orchards, wood houses on
stilts, small bridges and all kind of
merchants on their small boats.
Return at the hotel. In the evening,
dinner followed by another small
cruise to enjoy the magical sight of
the fireflies in the trees.

3:
AMPHAWA
–
KANCHANABURI
After breakfast, departure for the visit of Maeklong Market situated next to the train station. Walk along the
railway to discover the market. You will be stunned by how fast the merchants fold up their products just
before the train arrives. Continuation towards Kanchanaburi and arrival at the Hindad Thermal sources where
you will have the opportunity to swim. It is an amazing sensation to enjoy the warm water and then go for a
swim in the fresh adjacent river. It is an excellent and natural way to completely relax. A service of Thai
massage is also available after the bath.
Transfer with your vehicle to the pier of the Kwai Noi River. Cruise in a traditional pirogue towards your
hotel. Dinner and night at the River Kwai Jungle View 3* Hotel where you will be in a RAFT room.
During the evening, you will
have the opportunity to enjoy a
real massage of 50 minutes at
your hotel.

Day 4: KANCHANABURI – AYUTTHAYA - PHITSANULOK
Road to AyutThaya. Continuation towards Lopburi, «The Monkey City». Lunch.

Dinner and night at the hotel La Paloma 3*.

Day 5: PHITSANULOK – SUKHOTHAI – CHIANG RAI
Discovery of Phitsanulok main temple and its golden Buddha. Then, visit of the
ruins of Sukhothai historical park which was the first capital of Siam during the
13th century. Lunch. Road to Phavao Lake. Stop in a pineapple field and tasting. Arrival at Chiang Rai. Dinner
and night at the Serene at Chiang 4* Hotel.

Day 6: CHIANG RAI – ECO LODGE MINI RESORT
Pirogue excursion on the Kok River with a break in a minority village of the North. Lunch. Continuation
towards the Lodge which is situated on a hill in a small village of Hmong and Lahu minorities. Free time to
relax or take a bike ride in this breathtaking scenery. Night at the Lodge Mini Resort homestay.

Visit of an elephants training camp where

Mae Rim Valley. Free time. Dinner and

Kwai Bridge. Discovery of the famous bridge and ride in the « Death Train » that runs along the Kwai River.

Day 3 : KWAI RIVER- BANGKOK
Return to Bangkok. Pause on the way at Nakhom Pathom to discover its impressive chedi (127 meters high).

Bouddah Temple, the most venerated status in the country. Then, cruise on the river. Visit of the Aurora

Day 2 : BANGKOK – DAMNOEN SADUAK - BANGKOK
Depature for the authentic Damnoen Saduak floating market on board of motorized pirogues. Visit of the
market and way back to Bangkok. Visit of the Royal Palace, the Emerald Buddha Temple and the Temple of
the reclining Buddha. Dinner and traditional dance show. Night at your hotel.

Day 3 : BANGKOK – AYUTHAYA – PHITSANULOK
Departure for Ayuthaya. On the way, visit of Bang Pa
In’s Summer Palace. Once in Ayuthaya, you will
discover the remains of the former capital: Wat Yaï
Tchaïmonkol and Wat Monkolbophit. Visit of the
Khmer remains of Lopburi : Prang Samyod and San
Prakan (Monkeys Temple). Road to Phitsanulok. Night

Day 4 : PHITSANULOK – SUKHOTHAI –
CHIANG RAI
Visit of the city and of the Wat
Prabouddhajinaraj Temple which enshrines
a beautiful Buddha image from the 13th
century. In Sukhothaï, you will discover
the historical park : Wat Mahatat, Wat
Srasri and Wat Trapung Nguern. Road to
Chiang Rai with a pause at Phayao lake
and in pineapple fields where you will
have the opportunity to taste fresh fruits.

Day 5 : CHIANG RAI – GOLDEN TRIANGLE – CHIANG MAI
Departure for a day full of unrivaled sensations and meeting with the mountain tribes Yaos and Akhas (in
Maechan). Continuation towards the Golden Triangle area which constitutes a natural frontier between
Thailand, Laos and Burma. Cruise on board of a pirogue on the Kok River to reach the Karen’s village. Road to
Chiang Mai. Night at the hotel.

Day 6 : CHIANG MAI
Visit of the Doi Suthep Temple. Discovery of handicraft villages (silk, lacquer, umbrellas, silver…). Dinner at

Day 7 : CHIANG MAI
Visit of an elephant training camp where you will have the opportunity to see the daily routine of these

In the morning, transfer to the airport (without guide). Flight to
Phuket and then transfer to Koh Yao. Depending on availability
and what you are willing to do, you will have the opportunity to
take a bicycle ride around the lovely island of Koh Yao Yai. This
island is divided in two parts: Koh Yao Yai (the big one) and Koh
Yao Noi (the small one). Tourism hasn’t developed much yet there
so you will be able to find very quiet places. You will find yourself
on peaceful beaches with transparent water and white sand. The
inhabitants of the island are very friendly and welcoming and still depend on their own activities (not tourism)
which make this place even more authentic. You can rent a motorbike which one of the best way to explore the
two islands. You will be able to join Koh Yao Noi by boat (motorized pirogue) with the motorbike on board.
