LETTER FROM THE GM
Dear loyal season ticket holder:
When Carolina Hurricanes players are asked questions about playing for our organization, there is a common thread in how they answer. They might mention
what a great place the Triangle is to live. They may even talk about the weather. But they always say something about the fans. From the tailgating to the latenight airport welcomes to the noise levels, our players appreciate the support that we have. As season ticket holders, you have established that important
aspect of our organization’s culture, and we thank you for that.
The 2013-14 season marks our 16th season in North Carolina and 14th at PNC Arena. We are excited for the fresh start, with a healthy roster, and feel that
our fans will have lots to look forward to this year:
• A silver lining from last season was our ability to pick fifth overall at the 2013 NHL Draft, and with that selection came a player we believe will be a
cornerstone for our team for a long time. Elias Lindholm played in the Swedish Elite League as a 17-year-old last season, and should have a strong
chance to be a Carolina Hurricane this winter.
• Through trades and free agency, we were able to improve our defense with two additions. Andrej Sekera is a solid and steady defenseman just
entering the prime of his career. Mike Komisarek is a former first-round selection and All-Star who gets a fresh start in Carolina.
• Our division rivals have changed dramatically for this season, as we join the new Metropolitan Division. There has always been a high level of
excitement for our home games against the Penguins, Flyers, Capitals and Rangers, and we’ll be seeing even more of them going forward.
• We introduced our new home and away uniforms this summer, a streamlined and classic look that maintained our primary logo. Our coaches and
players love the new look, and I think you will enjoy seeing it on the ice as well.
• Our schedule has a break in it in February, but we anticipate many of our players will be busy during that time. Eric Staal (Canada), Jordan Staal
(Canada), Justin Faulk (USA), Alexander Semin (Russia), Tuomo Ruutu (Finland), Jiri Tlusty (Czech Republic) and Andrej Sekera (Slovakia) are
among the Hurricanes players who may have chances to represent their countries at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi.

Hurricanes Heroes Ticket Program
Be a hero! The Hurricanes Heroes Ticket Program allows
individual and corporate Season Ticket Holders to donate
tickets to local non-profit organizations that focus on the health
or education needs of the underserved children and adults in
our community.
Ticket donations for future games are considered tax-deductible,
and donors will receive a tax receipt with every eligible donation
made to the Hurricanes Heroes Ticket Program. Tickets obtained
through the Ticket Exchange Program or the Ticket Voucher
Program are gladly accepted; however, these donations are not
eligible for tax receipts.

In Person: Bring tickets to the Kids ‘N Community Foundation kiosk
(adjacent to Section 129) at any Hurricanes home game, or drop them off
at PNC Arena during regular business hours.

HURRICANES EXCHANGE PROGRAM
As a Season Ticket Holder, you can take advantage of the Hurricanes
Exchange Program to ensure you never throw away any of the tickets
from your plan. Unused plan tickets from past games, or tickets for
games you know you will not be able to attend in the future, can be
exchanged at the PNC Arena Box Office for tickets of equal or lesser
value to predetermined exchange games. Please be sure to familiarize
yourself with the complete exchange program details listed on this page
before attempting to make an exchange.
POSTGAME EXCHANGES
All unused plan tickets must be presented at the PNC Arena Box Office
windows. They may be redeemed for one of the predetermined exchange
games listed below, which fall within two calendar months of the
game on the corresponding unused ticket. Any unused tickets that
have not been exchanged within the specified time frame are no longer
eligible for exchange.
ORIGINAL GAME DATE ELIGIBLE EXCHANGE DATES
PREGAME-DATE EXCHANGES
If you know ahead of time that you will not be able to attend any one
of the games in your plan, simply return your tickets to the PNC Arena
Box Office and exchange them for your choice of the exchange games
listed. With the exception of preseason games, ticket exchanges done
in advance of the originally scheduled game date are not subject to the
two-month restriction window and can be exchanged for any of the
10 designated games. Please remember that no pregame-date ticket
exchanges will be filled on the same day as a scheduled Hurricanes
home game within four hours of faceoff. [Example: For a 7 PM
faceoff, no exchanges will be done after 3 PM.] For your convenience,
representatives at the Season Ticket kiosk at section 113 can also assist
you with your pregame exchanges on game nights from the time doors
open through the end of the 2nd intermission. Note that preseason game
tickets are only available to exchange for the Oct. 13 game.

All exchanges are subject to availability. Eligible tickets will be exchanged for equal or lesser-value
tickets only. Tickets cannot be upgraded to a higher-priced seating category. Single game ticket
purchases, group ticket purchases, complimentary tickets and parking passes are not eligible for
exchange at any time. All exchanges are final and once a ticket has been exchanged it is not eligible to
be exchanged additional times. Only original game tickets are valid for exchange. Forwarded tickets
will not be exchanged under any circumstances.

tickets only. With the 99.9 FM Fan Zone being at capacity and no lesser-value seating options
available, the Voucher and Exchange Programs will be unavailable for this seating category in the
2013-14 season. These programs will be available to Shoot Twice Goal Zone STHs; however, seating
inventory in this seating category is extremely limited. As such, we encourage STHs in the Shoot
Twice Goal Zone to redeem their vouchers directly via the PNC Arena Box Office as soon as possible.
HURRICANES PREMIUM EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Based on positive feedback, we’re pleased to return an added
benefit for Hurricanes Season Ticket Holders, the Hurricanes
Premium Exchange Program. Otherwise consistent with the
guidelines of the complimentary Hurricanes Exchange Program,
for an additional $20 for Lower Level or Club Level seats or $10
for Upper Level seats, Season Ticket Holders can now exchange
their ticket plan tickets for equal or lesser-value tickets to the
following six designated “Premium Exchange Games.”*

TICKET VOUCHER PROGRAM
The Carolina Hurricanes Ticket Voucher Program provides Season
Ticket Holders with the opportunity to attend additional home
games or to bring more fans to games in their selected plans at no
additional cost.
Your level of plan commitment and the number of seats you have purchased determines the number of additional game vouchers included
with your tickets:
• 4 game vouchers for each Full Season seat purchased*
• 3 game vouchers for each 26-Game Plan seat purchased*
• 2 game vouchers for each 12-Game Plan seat purchased*
TO REDEEM THESE VOUCHERS:
1. Return the completed voucher via mail or bring it to the PNC Arena
Box Office.

2. Prior to redemption, please list your regular season home game
selections in order of preference on the reverse side of each ticket
voucher. If your original date choice is not available and you do not list
alternative choices, the box office staff will fill your order with the next
game date available. Any vouchers received by mail within 10 business
days of the first fulfilled game date will be left at will call under the
primary account holder’s name. All other requests for game tickets will
be returned to the address on file via regular mail.
Each ticket voucher may be redeemed for one ticket of equal or lesser
value to the seating category selected in your ticket plan. Vouchers
cannot be upgraded to a higher-priced seating category. Please redeem
these vouchers as early as possible as they are subject to availability,
expiration dates and blackout dates.
• Please note the expiration date on each voucher,
as A-Vouchers are only valid for games played prior
to January 1, 2014.
• Redemption on game day ceases four hours prior
to faceoff.
• Vouchers will not be included with prorated ticket plans.
