Big Success
in Mexico City
OPI Guest Artist Vu Nguyen rocked the
house at Mexico’s annual professional beauty
exhibition in Mexico City. More than 75,000
salon professionals attended the exhibition,
making it one of the biggest international
professional beauty events in the world. The
talented Nguyen demonstrated the latest
techniques using Clarité and Absolute Fx,
and also showed off his artistic skills with
his stylish Nail Art. After the show, Nguyen
conducted an in-house training at the
corporate office of OPI Mexican Distributor
California Research where the group spent
hands-on time working on Nail Art and various
systems including Clarité, Absolute Fx, and
our booming Axxium Soak-Off Gel Lacquer.
"The OPI Mexico Team was very committed
and eager to learn, by the end of the class they
were making tigers and skulls along with a
variety of new nail art," said Nguyen.

also participated as a
judge—at the Baltic Beauty Fair in Latvia, the biggest Beauty Fair
in the Baltic Region! The fair was held at the Kipsala International
Exhibition Centre where our Latvian distributor, Oniks Beta
LTD, took first place once again for the best booth at the show.
For three days, Martin shared her inspirational techniques and
creative nail art using OPI’s one and only Axxium Soak-Off
Gel Lacquer. She also enjoyed being a judge for the Annual
Championships in Nail Extension for the Junior/Senior category
and the Classic Pedicure. “The competitions were very wellorganized and Elena put on a fantastic awards show,” said Martin.

than 15,000 attendees at Beauty Salon dimensions 2010, one of the
most prominent trade shows in the Netherlands. The sophisticated
stand showcased

successful that
the booth had
to constantly be
restocked as the
show went on!

OPI Guest Artist Danny Phung conducted a three-day training
seminar focusing on Absolute, Absolute Fx, Axxium, and
Axxium Soak-Off Gel Lacquer at the Culture of Color Nail Bar
in Paris, France. Each day more than 20 eager nail technicians
attended the training and participated in the rigorous hands
on workshop training for our OPI France Distributor, Ad
Beauty. "I know AD Beauty has grown substantially over the
years and it’s no surprise as to why, they’re one of the best
teams I’ve had the privilege of working with and I can’t wait to
see what they have in store for this year!" said Phung.
