As Impact Director, Chad takes the best of Filene’s research and
innovation and works with credit unions to implement key
findings that will impact their members and organization in
positive and meaningful ways. Chad brings nearly 10 years of
credit union experience to Filene and most recently served as
Vice President of Development at the Wisconsin Credit Union
League. Over the years, he’s led and advised on state and
nationwide projects involving credit union advocacy, public
relations, member outreach programs, and young professional
development. He was certified as a Credit Union Development
Educator (CUDE) in 2009 and has since mentored CUDE programs
for credit union employees in the United States and Africa. A selfprofessed true believer in credit unions, Chad also co-founded
“The Disclosures” music education project where he wrote and
performed songs about credit union philosophy and financial
education across the country at industry conferences and youth
events. Chad holds a BA in Communication from University of
Wisconsin - Stevens Point and in his spare time enjoys traveling,
music production, and pizza.

Trey is currently responsible for the Strategic Balance Sheet
Management Department at Corporate America Credit Union.
He is responsible for measuring and monitoring Interest Rate
Risk for Corporate America as well as developing balance sheet
solutions for member credit unions. Trey has nearly 20 years
balance sheet management experience with other southeastern
institutions such as Southeast Corporate, AloStar Bank of
Commerce, AmSouth, and Compass Bank
John DeLoach
John is the managing shareholder of the Williams Gautier law firm
located in Tallahassee, Florida. Williams Gautier has represented
credit unions in Florida, Georgia and throughout the United States
for more than 30 years. John has focused his practice for the last
18 years on helping credit unions solve their compliance, contract,
transaction and corporate problems. John conducts seminars,
workshops and planning sessions for credit union clients and
credit union groups every year addressing compliance, corporate,
governance and operational challenges.
