Tensioned Screens
Draper permanently tensioned projection screens deliver unsurpassed image qual
quality that is attractive and functional in any setting. Tensioned screen fabric installs
quickly and easily onto a rigid metal frame, providing a perfectly flat surface which
results in better resolution and a sharper image.
Draper permanently tensioned screens are ideal for control centers, boardrooms,
training centers, home theatre or anywhere else superior image quality and a truly
flat screen is required.
Standard and custom sizes and formats available in six models: Onyx, Clarion, ShadowBox Clarion, WrapAround Clarion, Cineperm, and Lace & Grommet.
Use Draper’s electrically operated Eclipse Screen Masking System with the Clarion or
Cineperm to switch easily and conveniently between two screen formats of your choice.
Items noted below with Draper’s
EcoVision™ logo are GREENGUARD

Screen Surfaces
Front Projection
M1300—The perfect matt white diffusing surface. Extremely
broad light dispersion and spectral uniformity. Panoramic
viewing angle and true color rendition. Recommended for use
with any type of projector in rooms where the light level can be
reasonably controlled. Washable.
HiDef Grey—A grey front projection surface that provides
greater contrast and black reproduction than standard surfaces, with a lower gain to handle today’s super-bright projectors.
The grey color enhances color contrast and black levels in the
projected image and also allows for more ambient light, in the
audience area, than traditional surfaces.
M2500—A high-contrast front viewing surface with excellent
resolution and high gain. For projectors producing under 1000
ANSI lumens. M2500 tolerates a higher ambient light level than
most other front projection screen surfaces.
AT1200—The most innovative and versatile acoustically transparent screen material. It’s woven, not perforated, thus reducing light and pixel loss. This revolutionary advance allows the
viewer (and listener) to position the center channel speaker
directly behind the screen—the optimum location for full range
audio performance. With over 76,000 microscopic openings per
square foot, AT1200 has the sound transmission characteristics
of high quality speaker grille cloth. Similar in gain performance
to standard matt white. Washable, flame and mildew resistant.
Available in sizes through 6´x 8´ or 10´ diagonal. Not recommended for screens smaller than 80˝ wide when used with LCD
or DLP projectors.
AT Grey—AT Grey offers the acoustical properties of our
popular AT1200, while providing the best optical qualities of
both matt white and High Contrast Grey. It combines a 180°
viewing cone with the vivid color contrast associated with high
contrast grey materials. Available in sizes through 72˝ x 96˝ or
10´ diagonal. Gain of 0.8. Not recommended for screens smaller
than 80˝ wide when used with LCD or DLP projectors.
Rear Projection
Gain Curves
Gain is a unit of measure for the brightness of a projection screen.
A screen with higher gain is a brighter screen, but is likely to have
a narrower viewing cone. A one-gain screen will have excellent
uniformity across the screen.

Cineflex—A neutral grey vinyl for rear projection. Cineflex has
high resolution and excellent contrast, even in lighted rooms.
For use with any type of projection equipment.
Onyx
An attractive frame and uniquely effective fabric tensioning system make Onyx the leader in permanently
tensioned screens. The frame is bevelled aluminum,
black in color and 4˝ wide to absorb projector overscan.
The Onyx’s “snap free” constant tensioning system applies uniform tension to the entire surface area. Assembly is quick and easy.

WrapAround Clarion
The WrapAround Clarion offers a viewing surface which wraps completely around the perimeter frame and attaches to the back side, so the screen is
one solid color—and perfectly flat—with no visible frame or border. Ideal for any application where the screen must be perfectly unobtrusive. Integrating
AV into a room to create a dual purpose environment? The WrapAround Clarion provides the perfect solution. Wall mount or recess flush into a wall
or cabinet to create a borderless look. Choose the
WrapAround Clarion when limitations prevent
recessing an electrically operated projection screen
in the ceiling. Since the WrapAround Clarion
has no borders, the image area is equal to the
overall size. Visit http://www.draperinc.com/go/

Cineperm
The Cineperm offers a perfectly flat viewing surface with a contemporary, theatre-like appearance wherever a permanently mounted front or rear screen is required. Flexible viewing surface
has a 2˝ black leatherette border on all sides, with embedded snaps. Its 1˝ square tubular aluminum
frame is equipped with snaps to receive the surface. Pull handles at each corner of the surface
help stretch the fabric during attachment, and can be removed after snapping surface onto frame.
Bordered surface conceals the frame completely. Frame sections are color coded for easy assembly.
Suitable for mounting to a wall, suspending from ceiling, or “flying” for theatrical uses. Visit our
website at http://www.draperinc.com/go/Cineperm.htm for more information.
 Viewing Surfaces—M1300, M2500, HiDef Grey, acoustically transparent AT Grey and
AT 1200 for front projection or Cineflex rear projection vinyl.
 Custom Sizes—We make virtually any size. Overall size, including frame, equals image area
plus 4˝. Sizes larger than 10½´ x 14´ are manufactured with truss-style construction, using a 6˝
wide frame and borders. Convert your Cineperm between any two projection formats at the
touch of a switch with the Eclipse Screen Masking System.

Eclipse Screen Masking System
The variety of viewing formats used today makes it difficult to determine the proper screen to use. The more traditional movies, broadcast television, cable
and satellite TV show the image in a 4 wide by 3 high aspect ratio called NTSC video format. Now, high definition broadcast, cable and satellite sources
are using the High Definition Television (HDTV) format that is 16 wide by 9 high. Widescreen or Letterbox format (1.85 wide by 1 high) is very popular
with movies and DVDs, as is CineScope (2.35 wide by 1 high).
Draper’s Eclipse Screen Masking System allows you to switch easily and conveniently between two screen formats of your choice. The Eclipse eliminates the need to buy two projection screens, and you’re not left with bare white screen material. Images are fully bordered in flat black, so nothing interferes
with your projected image—in any format. The Eclipse is motorized and mounts to the wall, framing a Clarion or Cineperm. Inside its narrow profile
is a special channel system that keeps the screen as close as possible to the masking borders—giving the unit a seamless appearance. The change begins with
the touch of a switch—or remote control. The Eclipse is furnished with one 115v three-position switch (other options are available), and compatible with
virtually every low voltage or 115v control system on the market. There are two models to choose from—Eclipse/H (for projectors with a native format
of 16:9 or newer anamorphic lenses) and Eclipse/V (for projectors with a native format of 4:3). Standard sizes are found in the charts below. Custom sizes
and custom format changes are available, up to a maximum of 108˝x 144˝ open image area. Screens are sold separately.

Draper is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), the nation’s foremost coalition of leaders from every sector
of the building industry working to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to
live and work. USGBC has more than 6,400 member organizations and a network of more than 80 regional chapters united to
advance its mission of transforming the building industry to sustainability.
The U.S. Green Building Council’s core purpose is to transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built and
operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous approach that improves the quality
of life.
Draper’s dedication to green construction and environmental responsibility has led to the development of our EcoVision™
range of products, which meet or exceed industry standards that measure environmental impact.
Draper is the first manufacturer of projection screens to receive GREENGUARD® Certification for projection screen
fabrics. Air quality and off-gassing is a growing concern when selecting products for indoor use. Draper’s EcoVision™
range of screen surfaces: Matt White, High Contrast Grey, M1300, and HiDef Grey are GREENGUARD Children
and Schools™ certified fabrics—available on manual, motorized, and permanently tensioned Draper projection screens.
The GREENGUARD Children and Schools™ standard is the strictest standard for indoor air quality, designed to protect
vulnerable children in the spaces they occupy for several hours every day. Draper’s EcoVision® range of products can
contribute to LEED® building certification. For more information, contact one of Draper’s LEED® Accredited Professionals.
