Day 1 – Arrive Hamburg, Sunday 3rd April
Hamburg - The Aroma Of The Great Wide World!
Hamburg has more bridges than Venice or Amsterdam. The breeze from
overseas blows far into the city on the water with its cosmopolitan flair.
Hamburg offers a high quality of life. Proud merchants' palaces and noble villas,
elegant parks and numerous water routes dominate the city.
The quality and variety of the goods in the tempting shopping world with its glass
passages are a point of honour in this city of traders and businessmen.
Active and enthusiastic visitors gather in Hamburg's No. 1 entertainment mile –
the „Reeperbahn“ to choose between musicals, travesty shows or the city’s No. 1
dance clubs. Whoever has not yet gone to bed after that, can make a side-trip to
Hamburg's fish market.
Hotel Scandic Hamburg Emporio is a brand new opening, located in
Hamburg's city centre, close to the famous Gänsemarkt square, within walking
distance of popular shopping streets and Hamburg attractions. The hotel has an
interesting interior design, inspired by Hamburg's abundance of water and
canals.
All the 325 comfortable guest rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows and wooden
floors. The standard rooms are between 24 and 30 sqm in size.
In the onsite hotel restaurant H2O you can enjoy regional cuisine with a
Scandinavian twist and end the evening with a drink at Bar & Lounge H2O.
During guests stay there is access to free wifi everywhere as well as the hotel's
gym and saunas.

wonderful view and excellent dishes. The restaurant is called Block Bräu,
as the restaurant has it’s own brewery…! So you can sit along the typical
long benches, enjoy hearty meat or typical Hamburg fish dishes together
with a fresh tapped homebrewed beer!
Definitely a casual but tasty evening!
Included a 3 course meal, beverages to be settled directly.

Day 2 – Monday 4th April
Factory Visit
Wilhelmshaven
Wilhelmshaven – a beautiful bay at the North Sea
Wilhelmshaven is a coastal town in Lower Saxony. It is situated on the western
side of the Jade Bight, a bay of the North Sea. Wilhelmshaven is the centre of
the “JadeBay” business region (which has around 330,000 inhabitants).
The adjacent Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park (part of the Wattenmeer
UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site) provides the basis for the major tourism
industry in the region.
Wilhelmshaven is Germany’s only deep water port, and its largest naval base.
The benefits of the deep shipping channel were already recognized at the end of
the 1950s with the construction of the first oil tanker jetty. Wilhelmshaven has
been the most important German import terminal for crude oil ever since.
Pipelines from here supply refineries in the Rhine-Ruhr region and Hamburg.
The 4-star Columbia Hotel is a quite new property in Wilhelmshaven, located
directly at the bay. The hotel is built in the style of a cruiseship to show the
importance of the North Sea for the city.
All rooms have a size of 30 sqm and are equipped very comfortably with the
amenities you expect from a good 4-star hotel.
The hotel offers a large spa area with pool, sauna, gym and spa treatments on
more than 1.000 sqm.

Day 3 – Cologne, Tuesday 5th April
Cologne - Between Kölsch and carnival - and with joie de vivre
and flair into the bargain - and Cosmopolitan Metropolis
The cathedral spires tower over Germany's oldest city and its innumerable
cultural and historical treasures, world-famous museums and active art scene.
Whether street music on the Hohe Strasse or gala’s in the modern opera house,
whether pavement painting on the cathedral concourse or old masters in the
Wallraf Richartz Museum, whether the annual music festival along the inner ring
road or carnival in the entire city - in Cologne all this becomes synthesized into a
vivacious work of art - in a cosmopolitan metropolis boasting more than a million
inhabitants which, despite its size, has never lost its neighbourly character.
Marriott Courtyard Hotel Cologne has now welcomed its first customers. The
hotel's prominent location at the former Afri-Cola® estate in the heart of the
popular Kunibertsviertel neighborhood makes it an ideal starting point for city
tours and shopping endeavors. The famous Cologne Cathedral, Rhine River and
the Main Train Station are all within easy walking distance. Cologne Trade Fair
as well as the international airport Cologne-Bonn can be reached by car or public
transportation.
The hotel offers 236 spacious guest rooms including state-of-the art room
design, individually adjustable air-conditioning, coffee/tea making facilities,
laptop-fitting safes and Wi-Fi internet access.

Day 4 – Wednesday 6th April
Factory Visit
Zweibrucken
Heidelberg – via Zweibrucken
Home to the oldest university in Germany, Heidelberg was hit hard during 17thcentury wars and rebuilt in the 18th century with baroque buildings. For a
pleasant walk, stroll through the historic city centre's Gothic streets. Be sure to
take in Heidelberg Castle, the symbolic heart of the city; Alte Brucke, a beautiful
18th-century bridge; and the Student Jail. Built as long ago as the 16th century, it
was used to keep mischievous students off the streets for three days to a month
at a time.
Leonardo Hotel Heidelberg, City Centre
The Leonardo Hotel Heidelberg City Center welcomes you in the heart of
Heidelberg, near the city centre and close to the main railway station. The
fantastic location with the historical city centre just a footstep away, makes the
hotel among other hotels in Heidelberg an ideal starting point for tourists and
business people alike. The appealing design of this hotel – a mixture of the
classic and the modern – provides a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere,
while the nearby Neckarwiesen (park by the river Neckar) are the perfect place
to relax in green surroundings.

Day 5 – Thursday 7th April
Nuremberg - Vivacious metropolis with medieval charm
Nuremberg combines the excitement of a modern metropolis of half a million
inhabitants with the old-world charm of a lovely medieval city centre.
In the Old Town, beautiful Gothic churches, romantic rows of half-timbered
buildings and sleepy cobble-stoned squares create an unforgettable
atmosphere. A stroll through the old section of Nuremberg takes visitors back to
the city's heyday in the Middle Ages. The Imperial Castle, Gothic churches,
patrician houses, and five kms of walled ramparts provide a lively impression of
how the medieval city once looked.
But Nuremberg is lively in more ways than just its history. The city is also
Bavaria's second-largest industrial location.
InterCity Hotel Nuremberg
The modern InterCityHotel Nürnberg is situated directly in the city centre at the
ICE main station. The ideal starting point for all kinds of activities. The old city
centre and various sights of interest such as the Schöne Brunnen (the beautiful
fountain), the historical castle, the Frauenkirche, museums and cultural
highlights can be reached easily on foot. With the FreeCityTicket for Nuremberg
and Fürth which is included in your room rate, you can travel freely, flexibly and
remain environmentally friendly.

Day 6 & 7 – Friday 8th & Saturday 9th April
Factory Visit
Lauf
Salzburg - The birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Salzburg, the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, is dominated by churches,
castles and palaces. Its picturesque old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Sight.
“Festung Hohensalzburg”, the landmark of Salzburg, is Central Europe’s largest
intact fortress and offers fantastic views of the city. Visit the Princely Residence, a
magnificent early baroque edifice with splendid halls and a gallery featuring
European paintings dating between the 16th and 19th century. The nearby vast
Salzburg Dom is without doubt the main attraction of the old town.
Take time out to visit Mozart's Geburtshaus, the place where the genial composer
was born. The house is located in Getreidegasse street, Salzburg’s most attractive
and most visited shopping street with its high and narrow houses and romantic
courtyards. Another highlight is Schloss Mirabell castle with its splendid gardens.
Goldener Hirsch is situated on the renowned Getreidegasse road in Salzburg's old
town, the 5-star luxury hotel in Salzburg.
Across from the Festival Hall and down the street from Mozart's house, the hotel is
just a short walk from designer boutiques and the Salzach River. The Goldener
Hirsch has since its construction in 1407 hosted a number of famous guests and
events. The 65 rooms and five luxury suites boast authentic Salzburg-style décor
handpicked by Countess Harriet Walderdorff. The original antiques, handmade
furniture, and native rag rugs are opulent and discreet, and honor 600 years of hotel
history. Absolutely unique for a hotel in Salzburg. The incomparable romance of the
historic hotel makes for a wonderful atmosphere, which is the perfect location for an
unforgettable celebration.

Day 7, Farewell Dinner Salzburg
Restaurant M32
Certainly the term modernity can be viewed in different ways. In our
restaurant it means: We know where we’re from, but don’t want to
shut our eyes from international trend in gastronomy and lifestyle.
Thus, in m32 we attach the utmost importance to service and
friendliness, and this in the probably most modern Ie of the city. The
design of Matteo Thun, dominated by the 390 stag antlers, meets
naked concrete and vivid colors. And just a few meters further the
eyes meet one of the most famous cities, Ih counts among the World
Cultural Heritage. Modernity, in our definition, also describes the
flexibility between tradition and future.
Includes 3 course dinner, drinks to be settled directly
10
Day 8 – Munich, Sunday 10th April
Munich - A city of contrasts with that special touch!
Big-city style and rural charm, Alpine character and Mediterranean verve, art
treasures and the Oktoberfest, traditional customs and high technology, beer
gardens and haute cuisine, operas and in bars – these are all ingredients of the
special „Munich mix” that makes Bavaria’s state capital so endlessly fascinating,
and so popular with visitors from all over the world.
We trust this „Munich Mix“, plus of course luxury hotels, state of the art venues,
top transport services incl. one of Europe‘s most modern airports with very good
connections to Europe and the rest of the world, is exactly what you are looking
for and makes this destination definitely to your preferred one!
Dohint Augsburg imposing tower architecture based upon the design of the
Marina Towers in Chicago, the Dorint Hotel Augsburg is one of the emblems of
the city.
Augsburg provides the ideal surroundings for your conference and is a highly
interesting destination for your next city trip. The unique combination of culture,
