Headquartered in Erie, PA, this 70,000 square-foot facility is the hub of Kold-Draft’s operation.
Pure Dependability.
Founded in 1920 in Dayton, Ohio, the
company originally manufactured domestic
water pumps. In 1926, the founders
purchased the company, Uniflow Mfg.
and moved it to its present location in
Erie, Pennsylvania. It was from this location
that the reputation for innovation and
Pure Dependability began. Beginning with
electric water coolers, its famous Kold-Draft
circulating ice water draft beer systems
debuted in 1936. This was the beginning
of the Kold-Draft brand name and several
lines of equipment including walk-in
coolers and freezers, bottled beverage
coolers and later tray type ice cube makers.
The Kold-Draft Horizontal
Ice Machine is Born.
In 1955, Kold-Draft began producing
automatic ice cube machines. Using a unique
evaporator and water plate system,

produced perfect,
pure, clean, clear,
hard ice cubes – every

eliminating the need, in most instances, for
expensive water filter systems.
Each Kold-Draft ice machine is built to last,
starting with type 304 stainless steel, which
provides a corrosion-resistant finish inside
and out. Kold-Draft ice machines and crushers
can be stacked one on top of another for
additional ice capacity and to provide a
variety of ice sizes in one location. This
flexibility provides a guaranteed ice making
capacity able to increase as ice requirements
grow. All Kold-Draft ice machines are
manufactured with zero ozone-depleting
HFC R-404a refrigerant.

produces 600 pounds of

Kold-Draft’s Cubelet – a quarter of the size
of full cubes, 5/8" x 5/8" x 1-1/4". KoldDraft’s cubelets are designed especially for
ease of handling and maximum displacement
qualities. They pack perfectly and won’t overchill drinks. Cubelets cool drinks quickly – to
desired level – without distorting flavor.
Perfect for bar use. The cubelet is the most
versatile and the most popular ice size.
The Kold-Draft Horizontal Evaporator produces clean, clear,
hard ice every time, by pumping water up into freezing cells,
washing away minerals and foreign substances before pure
ice is frozen, thereby eliminating the need for expensive water
filters and add-on, self-cleaning systems in most areas.

1-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 1-1/4". This is the slowest
melting ice cube period. Do you want ice that

provide great displacement and last a long

The Kold-Draft AKD-125 Automatic Kube Dispenser
stores 57kg of ice and dispenses ice into hotel ice
buckets, carafes and other containers. It is designed
for use with Kold-Draft GT Series Cubers.
New T-250 “GB” Series Ice Crusher is designed for
use with Kold-Draft GB cubers and bins. It is wired
to operate in conjunction with GB Series Classic
Cubers. Simple internal adjustment gives choice of
crushed ice in fine, medium or large sizes.
The AKD-125 has a stainless steel finish and
features one hand push button dispensing for ease
of operation.
